We loved it! The house was beautiful and comfortable with plenty of room for all of us. There was a gorgrous ocean view! And we were just steps away from the ocean! We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was an amazing week!

This is a beautiful and spacious home with easy access, great parking and nice layout. We had a multi-family vacation with plenty of room to gather, eat, relax, and sleep. There's very well appointed kitchen with new appliances, the hot tub and pool were delightful, and the ocean access is perfect. Thanks for a memorable week!

We really enjoyed this home. The view is outstanding. Our kids enjoyed the beach, pool, hot tub and game room very much. This house had it all. We plan to come back someday. Thanks to the owner for sharing it with us.

An amazing location right on the beach with beautiful views from most bedrooms and from the wonderfully large family living room. The kitchen has tons of storage space and is generously equipped with all the appliances you would need for a large group including 2 ovens, 2 microwaves, and 2 refrigerators (one is in the game room). We were able to celebrate a wonderful family Thanksgiving there with many cooks working together comfortably in the spacious kitchen. The game room was loads of fun too when outside temperatures were too cool for the beach. Our family group was 18 people ages 1-75 which left two without beds since there is no hideabed or futon in the master suite as listed. Fortunately we discovered this before arrival and were able to bring two cot mattresses for the floor. Beds sleep a max of 15.

First time staying at this property in the Outer Banks. Great location, ideally sited on the beach. Nice pool for young kids and Jacuzzi for nights and inclement weather.

Great ocean view and a really nice house. Pool a little undersized but adequate. Beautiful interior with game room. Short walk to the beach thru private access. Large front yard with short driving distance (1.5 miles) to grocery plaza. Landlord was very cooperative. Pool service showed-up at 5:20 am and scared us but the service needed to be done and he was trying to beat the heat…..

The location of this house can’t be beat. Everything else… well it’s ok. The check in process was unclear. No real directions. After we got in, the house was clean and well organized. There was a fun game room (converted garage). The rooms were large and many with just amazing views. There were many items that needed repair including the kitchen sink faucet that didn’t shut off, sliders that took a CrossFit athlete to shut, a collection of dead charcoal grills, and an alarm system that beeped twice daily Until you put a code in it. It was vacation so no worries. Again, a good deal and wonderful views.

This house and location could not have been more perfect for our family vacation. With the pool and proximity to the beach everyone had exactly what they needed! Great for a wide range of ages and large families. I would recommend this house, we are already looking for dates to go back.

Location was perfect, beautiful views from the upstairs deck. It was nice having a pool and hot tub both in addition to the beach. Restaurants and stores nearby. Owner was not very communicative, never sent check in information and did not respond to our messages asking for them. We finally had to contact VRBO and they were finally able to reach him to get us the information and it was already after the 4:00 check in time which made our first day a little stressful. Other than that we had a wonderful time.

We loved the location of this home. The views were breathtaking! WOW!! Troy was readily available if we needed help with anything. We had a splendid week in this beautiful home.

I’ll start with the good, the location was perfect, the house was large so we can spread out and we had our section of beach all to ourselves. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. The beds were comfortable as well as the outdoor furniture. We had ants almost everyday (and we never left food open or out) until we went and bought our own traps and spray. Some of the outlets were just coming out of the wall. We had to call as the filter was not on on the pool when we got there. The owner did respond timely to our requests. But the pool has an obvious leak and we had to fill with water every day. The house itself needs some TLC, heavy duty cleaning, painting and updating. There was mold in our shower and on the shower curtain. Bugs in the enclosed patio and the windows in the garage.

We came to the OBX so that I could surprise my girlfriend with a wedding proposal (She said yes!) and we so enjoyed our week-long stay in this lovely beachfront home. When I say beachfront ... I mean it. The views from the kitchen and the living room and the deck all make it feel like you can walk out the door and into the water! It's not THAT close but not too much farther :-) The home had ample bedrooms for us and all four of our girls, the pool and hot tub were both just what the doctor ordered at various times ... and did I mention just how beachfront we were?!? The kitchen was super, wifi worked well, and that ocean view is to die for! It's all right here!! Troy was very communicative and helpful and pointed us in the right direction with several requests. This was my first time staying in Southern Shores rather than Corolla or Duck but I'm confident that it won't be our last. Thank you Troy!!

I enjoyed this house, location, and the beach access can't be beat with a private walkway a few steps from the house. This was the best location and beach access that I've had in 15years! This is a very large house, we had only 5 people which left 1/2 the house empty, it could comfortably handle many more people. Thank you!

Main positive is the location, access to the beach and view from the deck was amazing. However, there were a few negatives I would like to mention. There were small ants all over the kitchen counters since the day we arrived. We had to wipe down everything multiple times a day to keep them from getting on everything. We noticed an ant trap behind the coffee maker so it is clear this was an issue before we arrived. Two of the showers downstairs did not drain almost at all. As soon as you turned on the shower the tub would fill up and take about 30+ mins to drain. The AC upstairs stopped working halfway through the trip and a repair person had to come in and fix it. The alarm started beeping and when we plugged in the # it silenced it for a bit but still went off for about a day or so. The house really needs updating but I would say the photos are close to what it looks like in person. It just feels way more dated in person. I know it is listed you have to bring all linens, paper goods, soaps etc. but the utensils and grill area is not well stocked. The grill is charcoal and not gas which was not very convenient. Again, you can't beat the location but for high cost a week you would expect to not have the above issues.

The house was in a good location. Clean and enough room for the 14 of us to spread out. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Game room had a pool table and a few games. Kids enjoyed it. Would recommend this property!
