The space was beautiful and a large open concept was perfect for our family. Beds were comfy. We enjoyed the kayaks that were available. Location is nice. But, there is a driveway situation if you pull around to the back (a strategically placed large planter would have saved my vehicle damage from the random drop off retaining wall attached to the driveway- it’s literally a part of the driveway and then just drops off). My advice is to only park in the garage or at the bottom of the hill. Or have someone stand next to that drop off so you don’t damage your vehicle (I had to have a tow truck come lift my vehicle off the retaining wall). The garage drive is super steep, also. We only had two towels per bedroom, causing us to do laundry nightly. There were no beach towels, so bring your own. No hand towel holders or toilet paper holders in the bathrooms, which was a bit awkward and seems like a logical thing to have. The grill didn’t work and was covered in nasty grease and caked on food droppings. We brought things to grill with and had to quickly pivot when we went to fire up the grill; I wasn’t about to deep clean a grill on vacation that I didn’t even dirty. The host took two days to respond to my question about beach towels which did not leave me feeling very confident in addressing any issues. All in all, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great house good location great view! Steep driveway!

Overall, we had an awesome stay. It was a great location for exploring Rogers & Bentonville while also having the peace of the lake out every window to retreat to. As with everywhere there are pros and cons which I’ll share—but the positives far outweigh the negatives. Cons—extremely steep driveway & too scared to stop on incline to hop out and put in code to use garage, not would we want to reverse out/down out of it. The newer circle drive (thru) saved us and we parked by front door. If you have more than one vehicle it could get interesting. Address in welcome book under “give this address for emergencies” is WRONG—I sent that one to my spouse after he ran to pick up dinner & it sent him 40 min the wrong way (when you have never been to the area and it’s dark you rely on addresses in your gps). Use the address in VRBO! Not many of our stays require a deposit or damage protection—bc of that things that we saw damaged in the home (chair ripped, yellow stain—hoping it was coffee—on primary King mattress, found bc sheets slipped off each night of sleep, etc.) had to be reported as we weren’t responsible. Not great water pressure! Lastly, for the price of this home, some little things should be addressed…no hand towel or even a place for one in the half bath, no toilet paper holder in the primary toilet closet & no dish soap—legit was just the refill part which technically is soap but was missing the spray part. Pros—house is as pictured, gorgeous views & location & clean.

Amazing views! Beautiful, clean lake. Super clean, upscale house and appliances. Comfortable beds and furniture. The house was stacked with extras like coffee pods, soaps, cleaning supplies, toothpaste and seasonings.

Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations as well as the expectations of my family. The property was beautiful and the attention to detail was wonderful. The view from the balcony was stunning and made for terrific sunrises and sunsets. I highly recommend this property and this host!

In town for a tourney and instead of a hotel, a few families got together for this perfectly spacious yet cozy home. Only 20 minutes to our games in Bentonville.
