First, some background. I have rented about 50 properties through VRBO over the years, and have had exactly one poor experience, this one..... The house looks great per the photos, however, it is dated, furniture and rugs had holes and stains on them and items like the dishwasher and ice maker were either broken or non-functional, and the location is on the corner of a pretty noisy street during the day. There are 6 bedrooms, three on the main floor, and three on the lower level. The lower level was extremely musty (I know it's the Cape, and this isn't totally unusual) just pointing it out. A dehumidifier would have been a possible solution, but there wasn't one on the property. From a recreational perspective, the pool table was basically non-functional due to the non-level floor it is located on. We thought we were renting a 6 bedroom house which we needed. It turned into a 5 bedroom house once the property manager informed me on our arrival date that he had "started" installing a wood floor in one of the bedrooms, and he would appreciate it if we didn't use the bedroom. It wouldn't have been usable anyway, as there were construction materials everywhere. So one of our party members got to sleep on the couch for two nights. Given our late arrival and that we were only going to be there for two nights, finding alternate accommodations wasn't an option due to cost and availability, or we would have tried to find another lodging option. I reached out to the owner to try and reach some kind of resolution due to the inconveniences listed above, and basically was told that he had no interest in discussing. So there you have it.....no chance I would rent this property again, and hopefully you will read this and heed my advice. All the best as you search for your perfect vacation spot; believe me, this isn't it.

We had a great time over the weekend at this house! It was perfectly located on a quiet road in Falmouth. We golfed at Falmouth CC, which was less than 5min drive. We were ten minutes from the fishing charter we went on and about the same or less from the town center where there’s plenty of stores for anything you need. Great spot, lots to do, and the host was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!
