this is just what I needed after the noise and chaos of Nairobi, a lovely little spot

Terestita is such a kind, helpful woman. All the staff were lovely. Beautiful old home with a garden. Many interesting birds to watch sitting on the porch in the morning. Teresita kindly picked us up from the airport. It was a late flight. We will for sure, be returning to Teresita's Home at the end of our trip.

It was all great but a small suggestion would be to provide a light weight top sheet rather than just the lovely comforter on the bed as it was quite warm for us cold loving northeners.

Place was very clean and comfy. Fot this price i twas good enough:) i felt good staying there for a shorr but pleasant time. The owner helped mi with transfer back to the airport. It was really kind from her side. :)

The owner wasnt polite and shout on mybfriend who dropped me to the hotel. We tryied ring on the bell, noone responded and open the doors, so he have found phone number at the internet and called. She was really rude that time to him. It wasnt okay. She Was offended him. So in general i have very mixed feelis about her and her place. She doesnt treat a drivers good. Amd acctually he was good friend of mine, and she doesnt know.

Absolutely perfect for my needs. As a solo female traveller my priority was to find somewhere I felt safe and comfortable near the airport as I only had a night in Nairobi. This place exceeded my expectations - a calm, quiet, cosy home with a nice garden. While there, I enjoyed a lovely cup of tea and delicious dinner (chicken and rice) that I considered excellent value for money. Being picked up by Teresita in person was stress-free and worth every penny. She also very kindly took me back to the airport for a super early flight the morning I left. It’s about 15 mins to the airport and there were no issues with the roads. I highly recommend for others in the same situation as me, wanting somewhere clean and comfortable for a short stay.

There is nothing not to like. If staying for longer to experience Nairobi then it is worth noting that the location is perfect for the airport but therefore a little far from the hustle and bustle of the city. But for me, I only wanted to stay at the house as I was tired from travelling, so it was perfect.

Teresita is my own home. I am delighted to be there for longer period. I Faithfully assured u in future. I am interested to supply the large cardamum and ginger

Quiet neighbourhood, not far from the airport (15-20mins) and good road. Warm water in the shower. Breakfast was delicious. Full 3 course, tasty, hot and served on time. Meal not included in the rate advertised, you pay separately but quite affordable and definitely worth it. Room was clean and spacious, hostess kind, helpful and very protective of her clients. Running warm water in the showers, nice four poster bed with pretty princess netting guarding vs mosquitoes.

If you come late and by your own means of transport please ring the bell once and wait or your driver risks a scolding for waking up her guests. The hostess is protective of her clients, both you and other clients. Payment is cash, come prepared.

Very convenient spot near the airport with a wonderful and friendly host who very kindly dropped me at the airport early in the morning. It was lovely to stay at a home rather than a hotel.

Teresita is a spectacular woman. She is available. She is full of energy. She loves her job and makes her guests feel at home. She is available for transfer to and from the airport. She booked us a driver who took us around Nairobi. She is helpful in preparing dinner and breakfast for us. thanks again for everything Teresa.

Teresita is the hostess with the mostest. She is very considerate, provides excellent service, and is a nice person, and staying in her beautiful house was the perfect start to our trip around Kenya. Our room was spacious, the food was excellent, and we really enjoyed afternoon tea in the garden. She offers a fair price for airport pick up, didn’t charge us extra to check in at 6am, and she took us into central Nairobi very early and helped us find our Matatu. Everything was perfect. Amazing place, Teresa is phenomenal and kind. The bedroom is nice and cosy, you feel at home. So close to the airport so it is very handy. The food is phenomenal: dinner + breakfast.

Teresa was waiting for me at the airport despite my flight being one hour late. She is an upbeat and interesting lady. The next day, she drove me to the museum and waited for me to drive me back at the airport for another flight! She takes good care of her costumer and you get a personalized service. Much better than a hotel! Breakfast was delicious!

The rooms are very clean and the yard is big and well kept. The breakfast was quite fabulous too Teresa is a very nice host, always ready to help with any enquiries. I will totally come back.

The hosting is unmatched. Teresa looked after us like family, attending to our every need. We are so grateful to have experienced this kind of hospitality. Location is perfect too, only minutes from the airport and in a very secure area.

After a very long flight, it was close to the airport, quiet, clean and the garden was lovely. The host is a treasure . Met us at the airport, had filtered water, cooked breakfast,and the next day took us all the way to our meeting point in the city.

Teresa, the host, was very polite and courteous. She provided good service. They picked my parents up from the airport and dropped them off as well and maintained communication with me who booked the stay. Highly recommend.

Cold showers, a bit further from the airport than we expected. Unfortunately for us, the road works meant a longer and bumpy ride to the house.

Difficult to find if you don’t choose the pick up from the airport

Don’t waste your money booking any of the big hotels near the airport - this homestay location is perfect for an overnight transit. The host is so friendly and speaks impeccable English. She was waiting to collect me from the airport when I arrived and dropped me off early the next morning for only $20. As a solo female traveller, my first time in East Africa, I felt completely safe and very well looked after. Everything went very smoothly and I would recommend!
