This place was perfect for a family of 4 like us. Great location tucked in the trees with a great dock for boating, tubing, and generally hanging out.

home is spacious and inviting. front porch feels like you're in a treehouse and is very peaceful. loved having a dock for our boat and fishing.

Beautiful and comfortable cabin with many amenities on a lovely, quiet cove of Watts Bar lake. The screened porch spans the back of the cabin, at a level with the tree branches - SPECTUALAR! We saw a mating pair of pileated woodpeckers create a hole in a tree for a nest. Within an hour's drive is beautiful and challenging hikes. We brought our dogs. Walking in the neighborhood was nice and safe. Dawn and Tim were great hosts, quick to respond or reach out.

It was a pre 50th Anniversary stay. So relaxing and calming. The dock and fire pit were fabulous. Everything we needed was there. My only wish is that it was closer to Gatlinburg. It was a haul to get out there but once back you appreciated the seclusion. Wonderful cabin on the calmest lake I have ever seen! Loved it but it was too short!

The house and owners provided everything required for an enjoyable stay. Having the boat dock was nice for going out on daily boat rides and exploring the lake. We enjoyed the screened in patio and the fire pit. Very peaceful and relaxing place to get away.

My girlfriend and I wanted to get away for a long weekend with our two dogs. This cabin was the perfect choice. It was both quiet and relaxing. If you have a boat, this would make for a great getaway. We also caught some nice bass off the dock. We'd definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful, well kept property. This was the perfect home to get away. It’s in a cove so the water is calm and ideal for kayaking. The screened in patio was ideal to enjoy the outdoors while keeping bugs out. Boat rental is 10 min away and also has a better than expected restaurant. August is hot and humid so if that’s an issue, another month might be better. Grocery store is a good 30 minutes out, so stock up before you get there. Overall an outstanding property. I highly recommend.

Wonderful cabin located on a very private cove of Watts Bar Lake. We were only there for a midweek summer getaway (Mon-Fri), but totally enjoyed the break! The house is located on a very private street with little to no traffic. The beautiful cove is very quiet with hardly any/essentially no boat traffic even in July.The covered boat dock is nice(we don't have a boat) but we made use of the house kayaks. The house is up a short gradual hill from the dock so the house seems like its in the woods esp when sitting on the screened in porch. So nice, relaxing and private and with a great breeze that comes up from the lake! The house was spotlessly clean with no scent at all. Unusual to find, especially for a rental that allows dogs. The nearby restaurants aren't open everyday (most Thurs-Sunday) but we brought groceries and food with us. Kitchen is well stocked with everything. Lake cabin description and pictures are very accurate. Would definitely recommend the home and plan to rent again. Dawn&Tim live close by and are very easy to contact if needed. Great place!

We stayed at the Blue Heron Cabin for a week. It was calm, beautiful and idyllic. We brought our boat and took it out every day to explore the lake. What a wonderful time. On the week-days, it was quiet and serene. We loved it that the lake was not over-crowded with too many people. On the week-ends, it got busy - but still not too bad. The cabin was lovely. My favorite part of the day was having coffee in the screened in porch upstairs and looking out at the yard and the water. I could see deer walking by at random times in the day. Heavenly!

Had a great time at the cabin. Perfect for the family with two 13 yr old boys. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Boat dock and slip was a great fit for the Vexus Bass Boat. Fished every moring and evening with good results. Bass was hitting great. Thank you Tim and Dawn for a great stay!

Even though it rained the entire 5 day stay, we enjoyed our family time at this cabin. Very well stocked, clean, and the screened in porch was perfect for relaxing. The dock was perfect so the boys could take our boat out and fish between rain showers. There is a boat ramp nearby. The lake is full of bass and we had lots of success fishing. The only con is most restaurants are at least 30 minutes away. We did a Kroger pick-up and ate at the cabin most of the week. Lots of playing games and watching movies and making memories. Owner is very quick to respond to questions.

The property was well described in the website. The property met or exceeded expectations in every way. We will rent this property again in the future.

We truly enjoyed our stay. We were here to fish for a few days and wanted lake access with a covered boat dock with electric. The home was very welcoming and comfortable with all the comforts of home. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in and water pressure was great. There were inviting balconies and patios to enjoy the property but we spent most of our time in the water. The hosts were very quick to respond for any questions we had. Would definitely book again.

Cozy cabin by the lake. Very quiet. We had some issues while we were there but the owners were very quick to respond.

The house was great. We felt like we were staying at a friend/family’s home. We stocked with everything you’d need and clean and comfortable.it rained on us a few days and sitting on the screened in porch was very soothing.quiet neighborhood very private.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful setting especially with the fall leaves. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock and we took advantage of the kayacks. The screened in porch, and the fire pit were great. It was fun to count the number of deer we would see each day. Would love to return!
