Stayed here for my daughter’s summer graduation from Auburn. We had grandparents and adult kids and grandchildren with us and everyone had a wonderful time. House was very clean and beds comfy. There are only a few steps up to the main house which was ideal for our older folks. We bought wood and made s’mores over the fire pit and grilled burgers on the gas grill that is there. The sunrises and sunsets were incredible and the upstairs has a full wall of windows overlooking the lake to enjoy the view! Highly recommend!

This place is amazing ! It’s our 7 th family trip to the lake with my grown children and grands ; the guest house was enjoyed by the older kids and one set of parents and the bunk room was perfect for the other kids and the other beds are very comfy for the adults! It was very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with all u need but bring toilet paper with a big group. There were plenty of towels and instructions are all laid out clearly for where to put stuff back in the kitchen; we also loved that there were lots of hooks to hang wet things and the sunroom and porch below are super for hanging out in the evenings and early mornings. Since we went in early Aug we encountered biting flies our first day so bring bug spray ; not many mosquitoes at all ! I really wish the ladder had a few extra rungs because it was difficult for the 60 year olds getting out of the water (maybe the water was low; I’m not sure) The extra plus at the last minute was the blob which was a major hit with the kids and we rented jet skies for a day ; it’s a nice private slough with minimal boat traffic! Overall, it was one of the best of all of our trips and we would definitely stay there again! Super clean and host was readily available for questions before the trip!

Very clean and very easy to navigate. Communication with the property owner was very accessible when a small issue arose but that was very small and easily fixable. The property owner lays out the expectations and makes it easy to follow. Great stay.

Wonderful place to stay!!

This charming house is smartly designed, well equipped, and offers beautiful lake views on a peaceful, tucked-away slough—but still convenient to nearby attractions by boat or car. The house and accompanying guest house were perfect for our family of eight—ranging from 8 yrs to 70 yrs old. Nice outdoor spaces, including covered patio, fire pit, and boat dock. The floating lily pad for water play and the two kayaks were great extras. Also, can’t say enough about the responsive host. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home. Was perfect for my daughters 16th birthday. She and her friends had the guest house and loved every minute of it! Any questions we had, Nikki was a quick text away with an answer. She is super easy to work with. We will be back for sure!!

This home was one of our favorite places we have rented on Lake Martin. It was very clean and well-stocked with more than we needed. The water at the end of the dock was very clean (no leaves or pine straw). It’s about a five minute boat ride to Chuck’s and Harbor Point Marina. The property manager was very attentive to us and the property.

We had the best time! Everything was perfect and the property was very clean! Great place for all the kids because of the guest house. Quiet place to swim and tube. Hosts were so very nice and responsive. Will for sure stay again!

Nikki was an amazing host! This property is a quick trip to the store and boat ramp. Plenty of room for our party of six. Comfortable beds and nicely decorated. We loved everything about our stay and plan to return soon.

We had our Auburn girls trip at this cozy, beautiful home this year. It slept 8 very comfortably (and would sleep many more!). Beautiful lake view and from both the house and the cottage.

The overall stay was perfect--Nikki was a great host--only a couple of questions but she was quick to respond! The view of the lake from the house was really nice--so relaxing! We enjoyed hanging around the fire pit and enjoying the scenery! You can't help but feel relaxed once you arrive! Looking forward to our next occasion at Lake Martin!

Communication was excellent and house set up was wonderful ,it was well equipped with water toys and the boat dock accommodated my 26ft boat .

The property was very clean and very nice and comfortable. We all enjoyed the easy access to the lake. We really enjoyed coffee on the deck and watching the sun rise each morning.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay. Nikki was super helpful and attentive. House is beautiful with a spectacular sunrise view. We had 13 people, 2 boats (with trailers) and 4 vehicles and had plenty of room - granted we were in the lake pretty much the whole time. Highly recommend and we will be back!

The Carrell family could not have had a more enjoyable, relaxing family trip to Lake Martin. The property was amazing. The Caballero’s were amazing property host. They have truly made a place that you would want to come back year after year. The property location was very private and a perfect location on the Lake. The boat house was a great spot for overflow from the main house and all of the different spots to sit and relax outside were wonderful. The glassed in room in main house that overlooked the lake was so cozy. We all could have stayed right there. We can’t wait until our next trip!

Absolutely amazing property. House was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The guesthouse is an excellent use of space and adds so much if you have a need for more than 3 bedrooms. The location is perfect. Large slough that is big enough for water sports but quiet and slow enough that you can float on a raft or kayak. Close to all main attractions such as Chucks, Harbor Point, chimney rock and goat island. We have stayed at several homes on Lake Martin and this is by far our favorite. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent lake house and property on Lake Martin. Great location on the lake for a quick boat ride to Chuck's Marina for Pizza, Chimney Rock, and Goat Island. Also nearby are stores and restaurants. Plenty of room for the 9 of us that stayed. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a week long stay. The guest house, aka Bungalow as we called it was a cool place too! We all enjoyed everything the property had to offer, such as the many places to sit and lounge around to relax. We spent many hours swimming in the lake from the dock and exploring in the kayaks. The kids enjoyed the Lilli Pad too. We also enjoyed winding down the evening sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and listening to the frogs. Overall our stay at the lake house was most enjoyable and can't wait to return. Thank you!

This Home is absolute perfection. Beautifully decorated. The beds and couches are super comfy. It is in a perfect location with a little protected area for swimming a playing on the Lilly pad. plenty of outside spaces to enjoy. the guest house was perfect since we had 6 teenage girls with us celebrating my daughter's sweet sixteen. It gave them a little privacy away from the adults to just be silly. We made some awesome memories here. It was so much fun everything from kayaking to Jumping off the deck to playing hide and go seek in the dark. it was the perfect birthday weekend.
