Great location for countryside or Bakewell. Comfy rooms, good basic kitchen. Would stay again.

Could have done with a bit of local information in cottage on arrival about the area including how to walk into bakewell and where the nearest pub is situated.

The bed linen was rather old and worn. I think the bed linen should be refreshed for every season. The double bed was just a standard double and not long enough for a tall person

location was perfect, barn had everything we needed.

lots of dog poo in the garden, farm dogs had access to the garden so could of been them? wasn’t particularly happy doing a poo pick on arrival. floor boards were a bit creaky upstairs.

Location was nice- a true working farm so if you don't like cows this isn't the place for you! Disappointing walking was only road worthy - bit tricky with a dog! not many dog walks around without having to drive to a location, also plenty of walks but sheep so dog on a lead! Communal garden which was ok but rogue dogs roaming and others with dogs staying so you couldn't let your dog out alone! didn't see any hosts but we had everything we needed for our 3 night stay! Local pub was off putting as you had to remove boots before entering - dog walkers haven but have to remove boots! the barn gave us what we needed, all the basics were there! The barn was very clean -shower cubicle a bit tired but again did the job! There was 2 adults and a small dog this was plenty of room. would we go back probably not...only because we want to be more central to the town!

Roaming dobermans! creaking floors upstairs...duvets too thick ... Doors a little tired - bathroom door does not shut and the other doors would get stuck due to swelling of wood- drafty in lounge! I am not moaning just observations on our stay!
