The house was lovely. We never met the owners but the key box on side of the house was straightforward. We arrived early evening on a cold November day, the house was lovely and warm -much appreciated. Very clean, ample space for 3 or 4 people, 2 large comfortable sofas in living room, comfortable double beds in both bedrooms. Good bathroom. Separate kitchen / dining room overlooking garden which would be nice to sit in when warmer weather. Everything you could want / need in kitchen, even a washing machine. Easy parking - space on drive and some on the road also. Convenient for walking into town -0.8 mile to railway station, overall flat walk. Woods nearby. Lots to see and do in the area, we wished we were staying for more than just the weekend. We appreciated the Scrabble!

There was only one thing we can make a negative comment about - the absence of guest soap / hand wash. A strange omission. Next time we'll just bring our own!

Nice quiet area. Neighbours are really friendly. Lovely walks close to the house. Nice house, very comfortable and cosy.

Great location. Parking was a bonus. The garden was secure and fully enclosed. Very clean and comfortable.

The house layout was comfortable for a couple .Good size main bedroom for a small property and comfy bed

Poor information for heating and provision of hot water as no hot water when arrived as settings on boiler not correctly set. Kitchen and bathroom fittings tired and could be cleaner. Generally time for upgrade of bathroom and kitchen.
