Location was ok, a bit out of the way, but was nice & quiet. Communication was good.

Well, not very clean, the outside decking was filthy but small garden around back was not cut & untidy. The main thing was the beds, so uncomfortable, no support must be really old mattress's ? also no information on how anything worked, no thermostat for heating, it was either so hot or freezing, just had a boost button which would heat for a few hours then turn off ? could do with thermostatic radiator valves to control heat to stop wasting energy. shower was good but the toilets took nearly 10 mins to refill between flushes. The decor was ok & most things supplied kitchen wise, just need to sort out these things especially the beds.

We loved how private the lodge was, even though it was surrounded by others. The decor and fittings were lovely and exactly what we needed. Beautiful place for a mini getaway. Was perfect. Also loved the private balcony seating area.

Sadly no sea views.

Lovely decor, owner available when issue with television.

Only minor issue, tea cloth needed a wash, l did bring my own, need to check the television as it was not good working condition but problem solved, owner excellent.

Considering the great reviews I had really high hopes but unfortunately the cleanliness of the stay wasn't what I hoped. Lodge needed a deep clean and quite a few little things that need replacing. Paying over £100 a night for stained bed sheets, dirty and dusty/cob webbed parts of the lodge wasn't what I expected. Was offered to stay cheaper for an extra night which we would have if the cleanliness was better. I have more images of dirty or unclean items but unable to attach them Damage to doors, coffee table, marks on the walls, dirty extractor fan, stained bed sheets, dead flysheet on top of shelfs or picture frames, cobwebs

back probably could of been a bit tidier, had an old table & chairs in garden bit. half way threw shower it went cold but rest of time worked fine & hot. lodge was amazing. unfortunately when we went they were having refurbishment done on the club house which was a shame as no entertainment for our 4 year old.

The lodge had a dishwasher and washing machine.

Constructive criticism the veranda needs to be jet washed as has a build up of algae.

Excellent location, very comfortable throughout, host very helpful and was on site.

Maybe a shower attachment in bath.
