We had a great time grilling and having fires outside the water was perfectly and the space was so nice. Loved the sun room and playing music and watching movies. And you so much for sharing your home with us thank you so much

For someone who grew on the shores of Lake Michigan, I could not have been in a more perfect spot with my family. We loved the location, the water, the amenities, the short drive to all the fun Door County towns. The house was so cute, and had everything inside and out that a family of 5 would need. I would stay there again in a heartbeat if the opportunity ever presented itself. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Enjoyed our time in this cottage. Everything was as described in listing. Secluded location, but just a short drive to Sturgeon Bay.

We loved each detail of the cabin, from the entrance to the woods to the beautiful and peaceful view of Michigan Lake. We arrived on a rainy cold day, but our time there as we celebrated my birthday felt like a unique experience. We enjoyed the simple design of the space, cozy yet truly ample, the modern well-stack kitchen and warm bedrooms made it also a home, the internet worked perfectly, and from the windows, a gorgeous and endless view of trees and waves that turned into a shimmering landscape with the sun. We spent time inside and outside, we kept warm in front of the fireplace having our dinners and family/board games with our teen daughter who loved the stay and hopes to come back to use the kayak and canoe! "Live life simply," the sign said: a perfect birthday gift for body and soul! Thank you again!

The house is beautiful. The lake is majestic. There were so many activities in the Adventure Shed, we could've spent the whole weekend at the house just relaxing! We definitely plan on coming back!

Cabin had well stocked kitchen. Bed was comfy. Couldn’t adjust the heat down at night but found a fan so slept well. Love the views and quiet. Would definitely come back in fall/winter again. Thank you

This was our second time renting this place; perfect location, perfect host always there to help if needed; you find everything you need to make your stay stress free. Amazing views of the lake and the surroundings. If you want to experience peace and comfort you must book a stay, you'll be happy you did.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation this is it ! This home was everything we could have hoped for and more it was in a wonderful location for us to travel from. We had one of our best family vacations ever. The neighbors are wonderful, and the home and customer service was AMAZING !

My wife and I stayed four rainy days at the cottage. The rental is well equipped, particularly for young active families. The lake is just out the back door, there is a large deck for viewing. The lakeshore is rocky but the water looks shallow with a sandy bottom. We enjoyed warm fires in the fireplace. The cottage is a great location forexploring Door County and nearby Weinke's Market is a wonderful place for local produce and preserves. I think a space heater in the three seasons room would be a welcome addition on colder Fall days.

A well kept cabin right on Lake Michigan. It’s small, but it has everything you would need. Having a fire in the yard with the sounds of the lake—there’s nothing like it!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hidden Shores! The property was gorgeous. The cabin was updated, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed the three seasons room with great view of the lake! They had everything we could possibly need for a family with small children and a dog. We greatly enjoyed the adventure shed and all that was available. We used the fire pit and the outdoor deck daily. It was a wonderful starting off point for exploring the rest of Door County. Thanks for the great accommodations!

Enjoyed our stay at the sweet Little Hidden Cottage.. It’s a beautiful location right on the lake, and a beautiful place to come home to from hiking and shopping ithe bustle of the Penninsula . We enjoyed watching movies in the cozy 3 season porch and look forward to having a cozy night by the fire at some point in the future..

It was amazing… we had our two small dogs with us and they may have loved it more than we did.

The view was amazing and the property was very secluded. The host was responsive and kind. This was our first trip to Door County and we will treasure the memories we made as a family for a long time.

Hidden Shores Cottage was the perfect home base for exploring Door County. While we were there during off season, we can imagine this little perfect pocket right along the lake as the best way to escape crowds and traffic in high season as well. The cottage has been updated and super comfy with nice linens / amenities and a view that can’t be beat. Even our teenager was inspired to wake at 6:00 each morning to welcome the sun from the hammock while there is still snow on the ground. We will definitely be back to enjoy the view and 3 season porch!

This was an amazing cottage in a perfect location. Our family enjoyed it so much. The view was gorgeous and it had everything you needed for a fun family getaway. We loved exploring the peninsula too. Everything is close with a day drive away. We will be back this summer. We can’t wait!

This property has one of the best lake views we’ve ever had in a rental property. The outdoor furniture to appreciate said view is top notch. There is a lot of privacy too. The main room. kitchen, and bedrooms have been updated. The bathroom has not but it’s adequate. There are so many toys and amenities for all ages. Extra people could easily crash on the 3 season room comfy couches. Even the driveway has been updated with nice concrete, so you are not looking for a grass driveway like all the instructions say. The only draw back is that the expansive rock sea wall makes it almost impossible to reach the water. I asked the management company if there was another way down but did not get a response. Also if you’re looking to work remotely, this probably isn’t the place for you as the Wi-Fi is pretty weak, even causing streaming channels to freeze quite often. Also- the Keurig is broken. In all it was a very relaxing place and we’d definitely stay here again!

House was nice and the location was beautiful

Unclean property that smelled of pet urine. Uncomfortable old cheap couches and beds we would not have used with pet hair and smell. We did not stay there and host was notified within hour of check in/out and did not honor any price adjustment or refund. We were outrageously charged $500 per night though we didn't stay and there was no cleaning.

There was an issue when we arrived, the manger Emily and assistant manger Bernice resolved the issue right away. We were very impressed on how quickly they handled the situation. This place was tucked away and very quiet for peaceful weekend. This place was clean and had everything we needed.

My husband and I live in Green Bay and were looking to escape for the weekend with our dog. This place was perfect! The house is right on Lake Michigan (the whole reason we booked it) and the views are amazing. It's also pretty secluded, which we liked. We didn't take advantage of the adventure shed because of the season, but my husband said it looked awesome and had all sorts of things you'd want to use in warmer weather. I personally loved the hammock outside (with a cable right next to it you can use to tie your dog up) and spent a good couple of hours on it reading and taking in the views. It was great. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect place to get away for a weekend. The house and surrounding area were quiet, and we had a great time. The area is quiet at night, and it was nice to go to sleep hearing the waves. Make sure you wake up early enough to see the amazing sunrise. But even more importantly - stay up late, turn off all the lights, go out to the patio and look up. The views of the Milky Way are incredible!

This cabin was perfect for our family! It had everything we needed and felt welcoming and homey. We loved our stay and definitely recommend!

We loved Hidden Shores Cottage. It was very comfortable and stocked really well. The location on the lake and views were beautiful. Check-in and check-out were very easy.

One of the most well-equipped rentals we have ever been in!!! So many thoughtful touches by the owners to make sure there’s something for all family members- young, old AND furry!!!! Easy to communicate with, everything was as advertised. One trick we didn’t realize until our second day, though- those really cool looking metal sculptures in the living room are lamps! 🤣 Location is perfect- close enough to shopping, restaurants and things to do but far enough away from the Door County crowds. You’ll love it here, no matter the season!! We can’t wait to go back!
