Exactly what we were hoping for. Well appointed kitchen supplies. Morning coffee on the upper deck watching dolphins swim by, easy access to and from the beach. Endless beach activities and family time!

Wow! The Beachcomber did not disappoint! This is a fabulous property - inside and out - it exceeded our expectations: - Awesome layout to enjoy the view with direct access to the soft, sandy, clean beach - Hot tub for cool times of the day (or a drizzly one) - Screened windows and doors that open widely to enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean - Bright welcoming decor and comfortable beds, sofas and chairs - Private outdoor space for reading, eating, visiting, enjoying the view - Fully stocked kitchen with an abundance of dishes and cooking utensils - Easy walk to local eateries or activities (walk on the beach to any public access to get to where you want to go) - Quick drive to see the work of those at the Karen Beasley turtle rehabilitation center - Less than an hour to take in some history in Wilmington (Bellamy Mansion, USS Carolina) Donna was proactive in providing information on local amenities, weather and surf information, and reached out to check on us and very communicative through the whole rental process! Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beach vacation!

We had a great time and the house was in a perfect location! We were able to walk to dinner and get ice cream multiple evenings and really enjoyed evenings relaxing in the hot tub looking out at the ocean. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Beachcomber. The facility was clean and ready when we arrived. The property manager was outstanding very responsive and used email to checkup on us during the visit. Access to the each was outstanding. Only problem was the wife and I are of age and the stairs were not our friend, but the exercise done us good Lol. Overall I give it an outstanding rating.

The owners were very communicative throughout the process. The check in was easy and the space was very clean. Every aspect exceeded our expectations!

We really enjoyed this house. We traveled with kids and really appreciated the baby gate, high chair, beach toys and chairs that were provided so that we didn’t have to bring them ourselves. There were even white noise machines in the kids’ rooms which was great as well. Other provisions such as dishwashing tabs, laundry detergent and trash bags at the house were also very convenient. The host was communicative and helpful. The only feedback I have, and this is really out of anyone’s control, but the floors/ceilings do seem to be thin. If you are traveling with a baby + other small kids, you’ll want to be strategic about nap time and getting the bigger kids out of the house so baby can sleep. Just walking around the upstairs seemed to be heard from downstairs. But, like I said, the host even has white noise machines available that can really help with that too. Would definitely recommend for an ocean front stay with all the conveniences!

We loved our stay! The check-in process was easy and communication with the owners was excellent. The property was clean and right on the beach, just what we wanted. The kitchen was well stocked and there were games to lay. It was a perfect getaway!!

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach home. The hot tub was a nice bonus for us! Place was clean and kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. Great location, close to restaurants and has direct beach access! Would recommend for friends or family.

This house was everything you see on the preview and more! It was gorgeous with amazing views of the ocean in the living room and downstairs master suite! Plenty of bathrooms and the kitchen is adequate and well stocked to cook for you and yours! Seriously, a walk down the deck and you are on the sand! We truly enjoyed our stay and the house made it perfect! Amanda

charming split level right on the beach which waS perfect! the decor in the smallish living room was reminiscent of Pawleys Island 1968. and a bit bulky and oversixed for thesmallerlivingroom but we had a great time! kitchen wSnew with quartz vounters -beds were comforatble and linens were great.

If you're looking for some relaxation right on the beach, this is the house to rent. In a quite neighborhood like setting, just steps to the beach and a short 2 minute drive into town. The house has been well maintained and decorated to make you feel right at home! This is my new beach house everytime I come home to my favorite beach!!

The location right on the beach was ideal. We loved eating on the covered porch and being able to watch the waves in the shade. Hot tub soaks were a great way to start and end the day, particularly in the cooler evenings. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for cooking utensils. Our hosts were responsive to questions and tried to be flexible within reason when a hurricane messed with plans. Beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards were nice amenities that were also supplied. Would definitely stay here again.

The first thing I saw when we got upstairs was the sign, "Welcome to the Beach" at that moment my blood pressure dropped and I felt a sense of peace that lasted the next 7 days. This was my families 3rd time visiting Topsail and it was wonderful! I could hear the waves at night with the door and windows closed!! HEAVEN The porch swing was my favorite place to have my morning coffee. (other than walking the beach) The home was everything the ad said it was.. Our family of 9 stayed here for a week - grandma/grandpa, kids ranging from 2-10 - it was perfect! Kids loved looking for sharks teeth and we had the RARE opportunity of seeing baby sea turtles hatch in front of the home on our last day - simple incredible. As clearly stated in the listing, stairs are plentiful and a little steep but did not hinder anything. Can’t beat the location and the home had everything we needed. Donna was quick to reply and remedy any questions or concerns. Would totally stay again and recommend!

My family and I stayed here during the summer and had a great time! The house was clean, had plenty of extras (blankets and pillows, etc), and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils so we could cook a few nights. The house is right on the beach which is awesome, so we just set up at the bottom of the stairs every day and enjoyed! The house is pet free which is a must for us due to allergies, so that is appreciated. The owners were accommodating and easy to communicate with. I'd stay here again!

The house was really awesome and plenty of space. We spent most of our time outside on cover deck facing ocean and it was really nice. Loved the fact you could walk out of house directly onto beach. Could monitor kids from deck without problem. Inside house was super clean and organized well. Everything we needed was there and easy to find. Outdoor shower got a lot of use and was great. Family really enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again! Communication with owners was great. Fast responses. It was easy and simple A+

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this year. We loved being directly on the beach. The layout was perfect for our two families, with having two masters and two extra rooms it fit our families perfectly. Donna and her husband were very helpful throughout the process, and were quick to answer any emails I sent them. We’ve been coming to topsail for years, and we just left the location how close you were to everything but still in the residential area.

Our family had the opportunity to stay a week at the Beachcomber. The location is right on the beach and within walking distance to area restaurants. The house was comfortable and had everything needed for our vacation. We would definitely return for another stay.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect. Steps away from the beautiful beach and some restaurants within walking distance. House is very well equipped with everything you will need. Donna and John were amazing and very quick to respond. Highly recommend!

This was our second time to Topsail. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. It was perfect for us. The kitchen and house was stocked well, and we appreciated the new games. Surf City location was wonderful too. Would stay here again!

This house was the perfect set-up for our trip! The kids loved the bunk beds, and the two king rooms were a treat! I’m not sure if the access to the beach can be any closer or better! The house was close to anything we needed, and yet it felt secluded and away from the hustle and bustle at the same time. We have never done a week on the beach like this before, and this will certainly not be our last! Donna was very responsive to our messages, and we are so thankful such a wonderful vacation!
