We had everything we needed for our five-night stay in this lovely, quiet rural location above the Wye Valley. The cottage is very comfortable with views of the garden. Sarah & Bridget are great hosts.

The location of this cottage is perfect for exploring both the Wye Valley and all its surrounding areas. Clean tidy, well presented, nice quiet location, all the mod-cons needed to enjoy a relaxing trip away.

Very quiet, in the middle of a forest.

Access very difficult, along tiny roads in poor repair, some very steep. The dawn chorus from the rooks at 5.30am was deafening but lasted only 20 min.

The location was just 2 miles away from Tintern Abbey and Village with the river Wye running alongside. The cottage itself was private and so roomy considering it was one bed. Cosy, quaint and full of character.,

The host's friendliness upon greeting us upon our arrival, and her generosity in providing a welcoming bowl of chocolates and a packet of traditional Welsh cakes.

This is a home from home with lots of little details added to make stay comfortable. I particularly like the hot water bottles I am looking forward to staying again.

Such a beautiful space in a peaceful location. The cottage is very comfortable and pristinely clean, with every detail considered for a relaxing stay. Extra special mention for hot water bottles, amazing bath and luxurious bedding. One night was definitely not long enough, would love to return for a longer stay.

We had a lovely stay and hope to visit for longer next time! We liked the space and the attention to detail.

Location was lovely quiet and ,clean

It did have a double electric hob and very small electric oven size of a microwave ,so can do minimal cooking

Bed was very comfortable, Bathroom was great. Very quiet area. Hosts were very welcoming. Lots of info on things to do and places to eat in the cottage.

It was very cold, the heating didn't seem to be on much. There were extra electric heaters which helped massively. Not a proper cooker. Sofa was very small

It is charming! Cottage furnishings and atmosphere in a rural setting yet close to Tintern and Forest of Dean.

The cottage was lovely, well equipped and comfortable Friendly host and dog. Really enjoyed our stay.

Everything about the visit the cottage was very cosy Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. Was a lovely layout with the personalised touches to make the visit exceptional.

The only change personally would be change of mattress as my personal preference is memory foam. Any other places that we have visited had memory foam I am a light sleeper so any moment on the bed would wake me up. Besides that if your planning to go and visit ensure on route to pick up the snacks as it is out of the way but worth visiting staying and enjoying the luxury of quiet space as its very lovely little place that we would definitely recommend and for certain return again.

We had such a good time in this cosy little cottage. It was so peaceful and there were lots of little touches dotted around the cottage like blankets and hot water bottles which we appreciated (it was one of the coldest days of the year when we arrived). Would love to visit again.
