Quiet location, very central for town and transport.
Location is fantastic for Stowmarket town, train station to Cambridge/Norwich, walking along the river to Needham etc. Quiet despite being near a sports pub (coronation celebrations in full swing, but we couldn't hear it at all in the accom). Loved that things like oil, tea bags, dishwasher tablets, ketchup etc were left by previous visitors to stop pointless waste. Owner left wine and organic milk for us. Very helpful, nice people.
Key box code didn't work but that was Booking.com giving us the wrong number. Has apparently happened before, so check with owner before arrival. Fortunately owner was in when we arrived in pouring rain. Bathroom/shower is very narrow because of limitations of the old building - just be warned if you struggle with manoeuvring around small spaces.

Very good
Booked this accommodation for an author attending a crime festival at the local library. They were very happy with it and will definitely use again if we need to.

Very good
Superbly convenient location for train travellers Thoughtful gifts from host were wine & home made apple juice with chocolates left as well. There was also a range of herbs, oil, vinegar, salt & pepper to assist with cooking
Kitchen had ancient electric cooker; hoover didn't work; bathroom was extremely narrow & compact. Upstairs no division between living area i.e. sofa bed & double bed so not good for 2 friends travelling & bedding for sofa bed nowhere to be seen!! Luckily it was warm but would have hated to try to stay warm by using the tiny electric radiators. Wouldn't recommend a winter stay...not comfy & homely
