Cozy, well thought out Studio Apartment with everything you need in a great location two blocks from the Potomac River Cruises and Water Taxi and a couple minutes walk to multiple top notch restaurants. Short walk to the Visitor Center and Market Square to catch the free Hop On Trolley to the King Street Station Metro and Amtrak Station, Thiessman's Restaurant and the path to the George Washington Masonic Memorial which is an architectural gem! I met Thomas the Owner, a wonderful human being and Super Host!

The property was cute, clean and comfortable. The location couldn't have been better. I would stay here again.

The property was as described. The outdoor space with gas fire pit was awesome. The location was just perfect. The kitchen was well-equipped although we did not use it.

Immaculate condition, so comfortable, location is incredible. Literally 50 feet from historic King St. in Old Town Alexandria, and a 1 minute walk to the water. Restaurants and shopping everywhere in Old Town plus water taxi (ferry) to DC Wharf, National Harbor, or Georgetown. 10 minutes to downtown DC monuments, museums, etc. Safe. Owner communication perfect. Thank you! Will be back!

This is a historic property which has been turned into a comfortable studio apartment. The best part is that you literally step outside your door and you’re in the heart of Old Town. The host was very accessible when I needed help getting in. It was a great weekend getaway.

The carriage house is perfectly located by all the shops and restaurants downtown. It has a great courtyard that is shared with the oldest inhabited property in Alexandria with a couple of fire pits and lots of comfortable seating. The host was more than accommodating and easily accessible. Definitely recommend.

One block from the waterfront, and right off King, which has everything you’ll ever need in OTX! (Except a grocery store—but those are just a few blocks away!). I just moved out of Old Town last year, so I’m biased, but Alexandria is pretty awesome. The property is super cute and priced less than area hotels. I popped in for the Parkway Classic, and was able to walk to my cheer spot, meet my friends so they could change at my place, and then walk to brunch. Everything is very accessible.

Very unique unit in a great downtown location. Owner responsive and unit in good condition.

Clean and had all of the essentials. Close to restaurants, historical sites. Comfy bed, but parking in this walkable city is tough to find. We would definitely stay again and take the water taxi across the river to DC.

This place was everything I could want in a cozy, historic hideaway right by all the shops and restaurants in Old Town, but just off the beaten path, so it was both comfortable and convenient. Wife and I stayed the weekend for NYE. We loved this little place. Owner and PM have done a great job of all the necessities you need.

If you want the PERFECT location for an Old Town Alexandria visit - this is the place! Impeccably clean, all the amenities you need, and super easy check in/out. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Great location, perfect accommodation. Everything that we needed. We parked the car once and ended up walking to everything (shopping/restaurants/sight seeing). Ended up meeting the owner, Thomas, and he made sure that everything was just right for our stay 😀

We came to Alexandria for the weekend excited to enjoy the beautiful weather and gorgeous scenery. When we arrived at the listing, another guests belongings were all over the apartment, as they had clearly not checked out hours after our check-in time. After finding that no one was present at the apartment, we called the property manager and host multiple times, to no answer. Due to prior reservations and the fact that we could not contact anyone with knowledge of the situation, we had to book a hotel after spending a pretty penny on this fraudulent listing. Even now, days later, we have not heard anything from the property manager about the situation and have requested a refund. Save yourself a headache and stay at a hotel where you won’t have to worry about trying to call a property manager in Texas about a listing in Virginia. While the location is perfect, I would give this zero stars if I could.

Planned getaway for our anniversary. We are extremely busy and werereally looking forward to this! We received a confirmation and were looking forward to enjoying the word fireplace shown in the pictures. Was packing the car late the night before our stay and noticed an email from the property owner. Our reservation had been canceled due to a computer error?? The owner offered a “free bottle of wine” for our next visit?? He also let us know the fireplace is not real and it’s just for show…. (I.e. to entice unsuspecting customers). We sure did not need the stress of handling this - we found a nearby hotel and had a good weekend, without the assistance of the owner or VRBO. Your app requires that we rate all categories- in fairness we never saw the physical property so I gave a 3 to location and cleanliness.

Wonderful host, beautiful property in the heart of Oldtown

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway for to visit the Old Town area. Literally 100 steps to King St for as much eating, drinking, shopping and entertainment as you could want. The unit was nicely updated, and very cute, cozy and comfortable.

I travel to the VA/DC area every couple of months for work. As a result, I need a place that’s comfortable, very clean, quiet and convenient to Old Town’s great restaurants. This one checks all the boxes and I look forward to my next visit in October.

I loved everything about this place. The location is in the heart of Old Town, I never had to take a car. It was easy to check in and out and there was everything I needed in the kitchen including a Nespresso and plenty of coffee. Owner even left a basket of snacks completely free. This was clean, easy, and perfect! Thank you!!

Both apts. are lovely & very comfortable. A couple issues were kitchen stuff was minimal. No measuring spoons..serving bowls/plates...No knives other than butter..no paper towels or Kleenex..need hooks on bathroom doors..No hair dryers could have been cleaner. Overall it was great! I believe this is a new rental so just wanted to give my opinion on how to make it better! Oh and a welcome book with property instructions...Wi-Fi..garbage info:.tv info!

My boyfriend surprised me with a weekend getaway! And he knocked it out of the park with this lovely apartment. It has everything you could want in a rental… charm, history, functionality, cleanliness but most importantly Location Location Location! We were literally steps from restaurants, bars, shopping, live music, water front activities etc… Old Town Alexandria is bustling both day and night so it was important that I could walk to places and not worry about needing a car to get around. The apartment itself is an old carriage house that has been beautifully transformed into a fully renovated apartment with washer/dryer, full kitchen (new appliances), large bed with trundle for added sleeping space, and even separate comfy seating for entertaining guests. Top of the line towels and linens included. There is even a private outside courtyard that we had access to which includes a fire pit, comfy seating, and dining area if we wanted. Last but not least I want to thank Dave, the owner, who made booking this apartment so easy and problem free. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was unforgettable and enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and book this place for your next trip… you won’t be disappointed. I’m already looking into at the upstairs apartment for my next stay.
