Had a few hiccups during our stay—no towels or trash bags but the owner was quick to respond. Great location. Loved our morning coffee on the deck watching the waves. Wear some type of footwear when using the path to the beach as there are stickers!!!

Our stay was wonderful. The house had everything we needed for the beach. Canopy, chairs for all 5 of us, and even a wagon to make the short trip to the beach. Having both the Keurig and traditional coffee makers was a nice perk. The decks are perfect for both sunrise and sunset. The only negative was that our trip was too short. We will be back!

This property was just as listed. Adorable house, RIGHT on the beach, easy to fine, easy communication. Had no issues and very much enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at Sun Kissed Retreat! House was right on the beach with a private ramp straight onto the sand. The ramp was great for our dog who has a hard time with stairs these days. House was clean and just as described and pictured. Kitchen was very well stocked and we didn't lack for anything. It is very close (walking distance for most) to the small selection of Surfside restaurants and convenience stores. The owner was very helpful and prompt with responses. We give this place 5 stars and definitely plan on returning!

We had a family friendly Jeep weekend stay and it was almost perfect! A little issue checking in, missing key in key box but resolved in about an hour, so just delayed check in. Owner did potentially offer to extend checkout but it wasn’t feasible for our trip. The house was clean but they didn’t leave a broom to sweep up sand. They also didn’t have extra trash bags. Other than the two small things the beach house was a great location, very homey and comfortable for the 10 guests. We would stay here again!

Absolutely the perfect little getaway bungalow. The inside of this beachfront home is furnished and arranged to relax and enjoy your time. Very clean and up kept.

This was the perfect house for us. Loved everything about it. Location was great, decorated so cute, it was simple and felt so homey. We will stay here again. We love Surfside beach. The town is small and non commercial. Perfect for a get away. My husband and I celebrated 45 years together. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I would highly recommend this house to rent.

We loved our weekend here! It was so nicely decorated and clean, and had everything you could possibly need. Very accommodating to your pups and great beach access. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was great and had everything we could want/need. Very much enjoyed our stay there. The only complaint had nothing to do with the house. The beaches were a bit busy with vehicle traffic on some of the days, just something we're not used to experiencing.

We had a great time. Sitting out on the front deck facing the beach was amazing. This was out favorite spot in the house. Listening to the waves at night made for a perfect sleep.

We loved our stay ! Pet friendly , ON the Beach . Well maintained. Very clean . Comfortable. Everything you need and more ! We loved our coffee on the deck in the morning over looking the beach . We can imagine beautiful sunrises but it was cloudy the whole weekend for us . We loved the sea breeze . We have adult children , all of them loved it as much as we do. Thank you for having us !

We are a family of 4 and we had a very relaxing 4 days at this location. The hosts were prompt in answering all our questions, the house was clean and in order, the location was perfect, and close to restaurants and the beach. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking into spending a relaxed time at the beach.

The accommodations were great! The BEST thing about the location was being able to have our coffee on the deck while the sun made it's pink/purple/turquoise appearance! JUST BEAUTIFUL!

This is a great little spot for a weekend getaway. Right on the water, easy access to the beach, cant beat it. The house is well appointed, and thankfully they have the easiest beach canopy in the world to put up, bc youll need it to maximiza your enjoyment. For those doing priper grocery shopping there is a wonderful HEB about 15 minites away. Ill definitely be back.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this beachfront home. Everything was exactly as pictured and the Surfside community is amazing

All was great except for poor maintenance on the property..cabinet door handles falling off. Water heater not consistent so had a many cold-hot-cold showers. shower head falling off in master. No stair light.. light motion detectors underneath barely worked..Be great to have concrete at base for cooking etc. Could not get outside shower to work. Overall house needs alot of maintenance work. Lots of stickers not mowed or trimmed below house. I've been in property management for over 40 years and this is very poor property management.

One very small detail...we couldn't find didh towels or dish cloths in kitchen.

Location was great. Traffic in the area was not bad at all. House was perfect for us. Open layout was great. Had everything we needed. Master bed very comfortable. Agree with previous review that beach access bridge next to house was a better option for us than the one attached to the house as we preferred not to walk so close to the grassy area/"dune brush" due to signs that warned of potential snakes. Was never a problem though. Still very convenient. Views from porch were amazing. Loved sitting on the cute chairs having family time. We arrived on a Sunday and were surprised to see all the cars on the beach, it was very crowded. However, Monday thru Thursday was complete opposite. Very peaceful. Communication with owner was very good. 100% would rent again.

The house was much cuter in person than in photos! We loved it. The only recommendations we have is possibly more seating for lounging in the living room. The couch was the only comfy seat to sit :). Then also, somewhere to store none fridge food. The pantry’s are locked for cleaning and there wasn’t cabinet space for holding bread, chips, snacks etc. The owners were very kind and checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything! Would stay here again for sure!

The best part is the location…beachfront! House is older than others and it shows. Could use some TLC on the outside. I understand that the weather takes its toll on the exterior. Storage is lacking in that all the beach accessories (canopies, chairs, etc) are kept inside in a bedroom closet. The private walking bridge down to beach from the house could be longer and more gradual. Older clientele may have an issue walking across this. The path to the beach after the bridge is through an area where snakes have been spotted as well as covered in ants. A longer wooden bridge that is more gradual would fix these issues and pass this area. The bridge next to the house that others from the area use is perfect except to use this one you will have to enter the house via the front door which means you have to take the keys with you or leave the front door unlocked which is a security issue while you are down at the beach. The outdoor shower is also located where you have to use the front door for entry after rinsing off. Again, the best part of this was the location, the views are perfect!

Awesome place to stay, very clean, great beach access. We enjoyed watching the crabs below the decks each night. We will be booking this house again.!

Boogie Boarding until we couldn't anymore. Waves were great, beach was clean. House was super cute, loved the 'chicken of the sea' in the living room.

The title says it all! We loved our week stay at this property. The house had everything we needed and more, the host was great with communication too. We definitely loved our stay and would consider booking again.
