Hotel was, to be brief, OK. It was a slightly above average room for a much higher than average price. We stayed in a hotel in Portland for half the price with equivalent amenities including pickup and drop off, though granted, it was not on a scenic river. Food and service at the restaurant and the event we attended was excellent. Hotel staff, for the most part were friendly and helpful. One annoyance: The toiletries placed in the room are adequate for a one night stay, but not for much longer. This would not be a problem except that there was a card in the room indicating that housekeeping service was available only if requested by Noon the previous day. With check in at late afternoon, this would be impossible for the first day. We had to ask the front desk to hand us some items we needed. In addition, we were quoted a higher special event price than we obtained through hotels.com. If you do not have a vehicle, transportation to and from the hotel is a problem. They do not offer shuttle service, even to a local bus terminal a mile away (difficult to walk to). There are only a few local taxis and they were all booked for when we wanted to leave, even though we called in advance. While there is nothing grossly wrong with the hotel, the overall situation is not good.

Beautiful view of the Columbia from most of the property

We paid over $300 for one night in a non-view room (booked a couple months before the stay). The room was very old, shower leaked horribly, the shower stability handle fell off when grabbed, the curtain to outside was broken and couldn’t be pulled up, and overall the room didn’t feel very clean. Was not worth the price.

The hotel was great. Bed was comfortable and deck was nice. Wish there had been a screen door on the sliding glass door to have the fresh air without the bugs. Bathroom was nice with great water pressure. Restaurant was great for dinner. They forgot my hollandaise sauce for my eggs Benedict so had to go get it.

Always a pleasure staying here! We will be back!

The good - neighbourhood has great views The bad - Expected better standards for cleanliness after having paid a premium of more than 300$ per night. The balcony had bugs and cobwebs and the cupboards in the room were not clean, had dust all over them. Definitely not worth anything over 200 per night.

The bed was uncomfortable/hard. You could feel all the springs. They didnt put garbage bags in any of the trashcans and we had a smudge from a whole ass bird on our window. It wasnt the worse, but not worth 300 by any means.

magical spot overlooking amazing Columbia river. Clean modern. superbly designed and laid out. One of best restaurants in area and a superb lap pool and hot tub overlooked by a fantastic workout area that is open extraordinary long hours for convenience of travelers. Great value on top of that...plus super helpful and friendly staff. Truly unique!

Beautiful location next to the river. Room is modern with all the amenities. My husbands only complaint is the tv - it kept automatically turning off after a certain amount of time.

We were so pleasantly surprised by the quality and location of this property. The restaurant was excellent too.

Really great check in experience, we were able to check in early. Only downside is that a restaurant staff member on Friday night was consistently super rude to different groups of people at different times who went there.

Great location, great restaurant, friendly staff. Heating and cooling system is so quiet.

I love this property. We will always stay here when available. However this time the halls had a very pungent Odor, I found spiders in the room, and the neighbors kept us up most of the night. Pool was amazing as well as the sauna, hot tub gym. Breakfast was perfect! The views are spectacular! I just wish they would do a little more to update the rooms at $300 a night.

We had a great time, and the staff was all very nice. They have a beautiful area where you can get a drink at the lounge and sit outside by the water. The restaurant food was delicious, and the wait staff was great. Not sure about the pool because it was too busy to use during our stay. The freeway is right there, so there is a lot of traffic noise during the night. The person who checked us in only set our key up for one night, so on the second day, we got locked out. We had just returned from the lake and were wet and dirty, with all of our wet towels and bags, so that was frustrating, but they fixed it pretty quickly. The AC unit in the room was so loud, and it kept turning on and off throughout the night, so we didn't sleep that well during our stay. It sounded like an airplane was landing in our room every time it turned on. I'm a heavy sleeper, so it takes a lot to wake me up, and it was loud enough to wake me up every hour when it turned back on. It was 100 degrees outside, so we needed it, otherwise I would have just shut it off. There were two chairs in the room as well that had a bunch of gross stains on them that looked like they had been there for a while. Overall not too bad of a stay, but I'm not sure if we'll be back for the price.

Pretty good location, but the rooms facing the freeway get a lot of traffic noise - especially on the east side of the hotel. Service seemed fine, but most of the staff seemed not very engaged.
