Lots of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance

Fast check in service...Kelby was the best!! He even recommended a few places to eat and visit since this was my first time in Memphis. First room I was given the bathroom sink faucet knob came completely off. Called front desk and lady said that she would send someone...Never came. Was leaving for the evening stopped at front desk told Kelby what happened and he immediately switched my room. Definitely would stay again.

The property was average at best. Room lights were constantly flickering or missing bulbs, service staff was very slow (needed an iron board and took a day for them to bring it), iron did not function adequately. The best thing was the almond chocolate chip cookies given upon check in.

I never received room service and bathroom had a smell

Very quick and easy check in. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable.

When we arrived it was the same day as the IT glitch so checking in was delayed. Had two rooms booked. Received our keys and that's when the reality that this is not your "normal" Doubletree. Air conditioner rattled in one room and the other room had a stench and dirty carpet that flared up my daughter's allergies. Around 3 a.m. my daughters were awakened by men trying to enter the room on 3 attempts. Thank God they had the door stop in place, otherwise the men would have walked right in on my sleeping daughters. They repeatedly tried calling the front desk,but no answer. The men stated they were given the room key. At checkout, the lady whose job was catering, decided to join the conversation after we had made it known that No apology would right the wrong done.The other lady's badge said customer service and she kept quiet and preceeded to refund me for one room without empty excuses. Other people stated their cars were broken into the night before. Please stay away, until corporate steps in to better the conditions at that Doubletree.

Overall the stay was good. There were minor issues with the room (i.e. bathroom door stuck BAD, coffee pot was missing the top half to put coffee in, keys needed re-keyed twice). I’d maybe stay there again if needed. It wasn’t awful.

This visit let me down. For staters the toilet didn’t flush. That was a big inconvenience for us. Also, we had no clean towns. Called to asked to bring me some, they told me it would be an hr. They never came. All them folks just standing around at the front desk & you mean to tell me NO ONE could bring towels. Rather crazy. Only staff that was friendly was the lady that attended to us at breakfast.

The hotel was conveniently located, quit, and safe. The hotel staff were wonderful. I will stay there again.

I booked for 2 nights, upon arrival they charged me for 2 nights which was correct. The next day they checked me out of my room and told me I only booked a room for one night. They called my room and told me I had to leave. I had to show them that I booked for 2 nights. They fixed it where I could stay but then over charged me for the 2nd night. They said hotel.com sent them the wrong information.

I loved the warm cookies and great staff. The pool guard was awful but everyone else was great

This is a very old and tired property. There was a permanent smell of strong cleaning products which weren't doing a great job of hiding what has obviously been years of smoking. On the first morning we had breakfast - very overpriced and unbelievably poor value. Very limited options and the staff could not communicate in English. Trying to get a cup of tea was actually too hard so we gave up!

No clock in the room tv was upgrade but there was not a control to operator. Engineering could not access either. Just a mess

Check in was at 4pm. We showed up at approximately 5:00pm and our room was not ready. We were not given keys to our room until around 5:45.

Everything except maybe that for breakfast I think that nobody was paying attention if I was or not satisfied and coffee was offered at the end of my breakfast.

I am staying in a King Parlor Suite. I have been asking for an iron for the past 2 days and I have yet to receive one. I have been here for two nights and my room has not been cleaned. The bottled waters haven’t been replenished for the two additional nights I booked. I ordered room service twice and no one has come to get the food trays. There is mold underneath the sink in my room’s bathroom. The security guards that stands at the pool’s entrance is unremarkably rude to the people who’re entering the pool area. There is also black buildup on the ventilation system above the indoor pool. One of the elevators does not work and people have been having to use the service elevator. I have stayed at this hotel more times thang I can remember and I must say this is hands down the worst experience I’ve had here.

Kids love the indoor/outdoor pool.

There was a huge security presence. It made me feel very secure in this area of town.

They should check the electronics in the room before allowing a guest to check in. Telephone didn’t work, batteries for the lock on the door was dead, tv wasn’t connected to cable.

My car was broken into and my stuff stolen, DO NOT travel to Memphis Tennessee

We didn't even go to our first reservation. This SAS a better option although it was no where close to downtown. Uber was expensive to go there.

No room when we got there. We had conformation number no room for us. Had to find a different room paid more and still getting charged for this room? Have to go through the other place to try and get our money back.
