Property is very nice. Common areas are tired. Would be nice to have coffee and tea in rooms or on floor

The Mills House had very upscale rooms and great ammenities. The property would be amazing for a weekend away with friends, a wedding venue, or great for a business conference. I loved the cafe downstairs and the restaurant was really nice with delicious food. I would in the future request a room away from people who have children as to have a quieter experience at night they should try to put people with families and children in a specific area or floor. Highly recommend this hotel as you can easily walk to a lot of restaurants and downtown sights. Use the parking garage behind the hotel as it is attached and much cheaper to use than valet.

The location was perfect for seeing all that Charleston has to offer. The hotel itself was nice from the dinning to lobby. The pool was small but still nice to have for the hot days. It was a bit dirty with scum on the side of it. Also the room was smaller than what was showed in the picture but we didn’t spend a lot of time in it so not that big of deal. The carpet in our room was ripped up in a few areas, which exposed the nail strips. My wife and I stepped on this which didn’t feel great. Given the price we paid, I would have expected better. Also the hotel added in resort fees which was not mentioned until we checked out. I am not a fan of hidden fees, so not impressed by that. In short, a nice hotel with great location, but when you have a high price tag, my expectations are high…it fell short in that regard.

If you are allergic to feather pillow, you can request for polyester pillows. I learn it the hard way staying at this hotel 😅

Beautiful hotel in a great location

Loved the location and decor. The bed and pillows were a bit soft for my taste, so I didn't sleep as well.

Our experience was great but I would like to add that there are extra fees that you have to pay once you get there. I did not know they would charge me an extra $200 NON REFUNDABLE deposit for my dog to stay and another $50 for other things.

Stay here it’s perfection, close to everything, and staff is incredible. You also have a restaurant, cafe, different setting areas, and a pool. You need nothing else.

Outstanding hotel!! Great food, experience & room!

Have stayed at Mills House consistently for past 25 years and what was always a wonderful hotel is now a five star facility under Hilton management. Fantastic location, staff and rooftop pool can’t be beaten on a hot day. Rooms are well renovated and the restaurant breakfast is excellent and convenient. Will be back next year.

Stayed at the Mills House for a girls trip! Great location, clean rooms, great food and drinks, friendly staff.

Very nice hotel

Very well located hotel and staff were helpful and friendly. Pool area is fairly small and was quite loud and busy most of the time (we were there on a weekend so probably the busiest time!) We were upgraded to a suite which was spacious.

Super cute & quaint hotel. We did have a bit of a scare in the middle of the night with knocking on our door but we heard stories that this happens here.
