Hotel was convenient for our family visit to Idlewild, and we enjoyed a stop by Fort Ligonier as well. There was a car show the evening we were in town, and it seemed like lots of shops and restaurants were are very walkable. (It wouldn’t be realistic to walk to Idlewild.) Staff was friendly, but breakfast area was a bit small for the number of guests. Breakfast was hot and fresh, though.

The pool needs a little cleaning and some TLC

I thought the hotel was rather pricey, for how dated everything was. We had a King room and it was spacious and clean. The only downfall was that there wasn't a bar/lounge, which according to the internet there was. Also, there was a very rude gentleman that kicked everyone out of the pool area at 9:30 pm. We understand that there were some people making noise and you must ask everyone to leave, but there are better ways to go about it. It was close to many restaurants and stores in Ligonier.

Was in for a car show rally. The hotel was full, all parking spots taken. Staff was very nice. Front desk was somewhat overwhelmed in the morning with check out as anticipated. But still pleasant. Decent breakfast.

It was just ok. Nothing bad but nothing special either. It’s old and outdated. Good location at least.

There was no restaurant, there were extension cords everywhere to plug in the fans because the AC didn’t reach the bedroom also in the bathroom the toilet paper holder came right out of the wall. I paid $231 for a suite and got a dump this had to be the worst hotel that I’ll never stay in again!!!! My family and I were very disappointed!!!!!!

The area around the hotel is cute and walkable. Looks like they need to spend some money on the hotel. Curtains were torn and paint missing in places. Sheets had hair on them when we got into the bed. Good place for the money but some maintenance is needed. Close to Latrobe and shopping and dining.

Property needs updates.

This property is the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. Toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and extension cords everywhere. Couch was dirty. It was a horrible experience and will never ever stay there again

A nice place to stay in a lovely town

The service was great, staff was very pleasant. The room was nice, but there was what looked like greasy food stains on the dust ruffle. The AC unit was not functioning well, and was very loud. The bathroom definitely could have been cleaner. The continental breakfast was great, nice variety.

The hotel is in disrepair and there’s just a lack of overall care. The breakfast is limited and the dining room is oddly small; very limited seating. During the weekdays they served frozen breakfast burritos. They don’t have drinking water available in the breakfast room and my husband noticed stuff floating in the hot water for tea. The beds were clean but the carpets are stained, the walls need painted, drapes and lampshades are dirty, and we had a broken window in our room. The neglected to service our room; I had to ask for service. We got it but they didn’t replenish our supplies (no soap or toilet paper). I had to ask for more towels and was told there were none available at the moment. We had four people in our room but I wasn’t able to get more than three. The only positive is that it’s close to family that I was visiting. The rate is reasonable but considering the condition and lack of care, it feels overpriced. I’m not writing this review out of spite. I grew up in this area and still consider it my home. It makes me sad to see this hotel treated with such little care. This was my second stay at this hotel. I won’t be staying again.

My biggest complaint was that I had reserved an accessible room since I am recovering from a severe broken ankle. I have the reservation that indicates an accessible room but when we arrived they did not have that in their system nor did they have a room for us. It was a challenge for the four days we were there for me to get around the crowded room and tiny bathroom, and especially to shower. In addition to the non-accessible shower set up, the handle in shower was not screwed to the wall. Couple that with the water cooler in the fitness room that had no water (and was unplugged), the extension cord dangling down the wall at the pool, within reach of wet children, and the really terrible coffee (the rest of the breakfast was completely worth skipping as well) I don’t see a reason to book here again except that it’s really the only place in Ligonier. Everything has a run down and somewhat dirty feel to it.

Well, the building is pretty old, and while not completely disgusting, the current ownership seems to be attempting to put lip stick on a pig. The staff was nice, and things were clean, but the actual condition of the place is a solid D. It didn't smell overly horrible walking in, but when i left, i realized , smelling fresh outside air, that it was a bit, um , well, off. In their defense, the place across the street looked even worse!

I enjoyed my stay here. Comfy bed, pleasant front desk assistant. It was all around a good stay.

was nestled in the heart of the cutest town. We were able to walk to get dinner and ice cream. The pool was clean and the temperature was just right! The property was clean, staff was pleasant and accomodating. Breakfast was simple; sausage, scrambled eggs, fruit, cereal options, yogurt, juices, coffee, and make your own waffles. The Monday breakfast was less than desirable; frozen breakfast burritos. My only recommendation would be consistency in breakfast options. We would return though. We could get to other food options and the main attraction of our trip was the local amusement park.

Place could use some remodeling (for example awnings look terrible and entire place could be updated) but sufficient and clean enough for short stay in Ligonier. Great location next to downtown diamond shops and restaurants. Outside pool was clean and nice. Good stay overall and best option locally for what we needed.

We like to stay here a few times a year when we visit Ligonier. It is in a great location and within walking distance to everything. The hotel is a little outdated but it’s usually clean and comfortable. Our only complaint this year was the pool water. It was a bit cloudy and full of lots of particles and bugs. The filter obviously wasn’t working right. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Both the sink and bathtub didn't drain properly, was not awarevof housekeeping policies and our room was not cleaned when we stayed 2 nights (trash was not removed, no fresh towels, beds nit made). Hotel offered breakfast which was good.

Just stopped for one night on our way home from a 2 week roadtrip. Was very comfortable and kind, hospitable staff:)
