First visit to Maui and Makena Surf was an excellent choice. The quality of the condominium and property were top notch.
Destinations staff was extremely helpful with all requests and inquiries.

This is an amazing property and very well managed. We hsd a wonderful 10 days with no worries about our accommodations and the amenities. The only slight issue we had was that the listing had 1bed/2beds and there was actually 1bed/1/bed. Since my son and daughter were sharing that room, the management companydelivered a roll away and that worked fine.

This was our 3rd stay on this property. Love the location, ocean view with easy access to beach and nice pools. Condos are in very good condition. Although close to road, quiet and relaxing.

The condo was old but well maintained. The bedroom & bathrooms could use a face lift but the location and view were unbeatable! The property grounds are also well maintained and beautifully landscaped. The staff was friendly and daily cleaning service is provided.

Our stay at this apartment was great. The apartment is spacious and has amazing views. A great beach is within a one minute walk. And we got to swim with the turtles!!! I will strongly recommend this location and this community.

Amazing stay. Really terrific spot. No room has a bad view of the ocean and some are great. Highly desirable area in Maui. Great for snorkeling right off the beach. Highly recommend.

Well appointed, quiet, clean, friendly staff, top notch all round. Perfect location with a stunning view, snorkeling at your doorstep, you will not be disappointed.

Check in process could be streamlined. You have to pick up the keys at a different location than the resort which is a bit of a hassle. Unit was fantastic with great view of the beach.The resort is very quiet and feels secluded. Overall a great experience

Luxury condo in quiet development with stunning views and great spot for stargazing

This complex is beautiful and private, yet not a far drive from all you'll want to do. Our unit had an incredible view and was decorated nicely with very modern kitchen/baths. Washer and dryer, as well as nice Weber grill were so handy. Within 5 minutes of several of Mauis best beaches.
The only negative was day 2 we started to see small roaches in the kitchen. Upon calling about it, within the hour someone was there to take care of it. Unfortunately, the following day they were back, although not as many. We called a second time, they sprayed a second time and the problem was fixed. I understand this is a tropical location, but its very hard to get it out of your mind once you've had the issue. Honestly, if we hadn't had that problem our review would be all 5 stars without hesitation!

From check in to check out we had an amazing time. Capri and Pierre were awesome and helped fashion our vacation into memories that will last a life time! Three islands visible from our balcony, swimming with turtles out front, 5 minutes to a black sand beach, quiet and relaxing (unlike hotel row), Makena has it all!!

We had stayed at Makena Surf a few years ago, so knew it was a great place. This time, we were in a premium condo (F110) on the ground floor. This spacious unit with high-end finishes and appliances was really luxurious. The sliding doors opened fully from the living space out onto the lanai, which extended right to the grass lawn overlooking the reef. I can't say enough how beautiful it all was, esp. watching the sun set over Lanai and West Maui. The staff was incredibly attentive to our needs. Our flight out was in the evening and we were able to arrange to stay late the day of departure, which was a blessing. Can't wait to come back.

I can't speak to every unit in the Makena Surf, but ours was spectacular. Extremely well remodeled, well maintained, with an incredibly luxurious master bathroom. Having a condo with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms was very convenient for our family of 4. We ate breakfast at home and packed lunches to take to the beach. The pools were very clean and not very busy the majority of the time. The beach adjacent to the complex is fantastic, and again, suprisingly vacant during our summer vacation. Destination Resorts was pleasant and easy to work with. I wouldn't hesistate to go back to the Makena Surf at any time in the future. I almost don't want to give it such a good review, I want to keep it all to myself! Shhhh! It'll be our little secret!

We lived in G202. Friendly staff and great oceanfront location. Unit is fully functional with 2 bedroom, each with a full bath. Rooms are well decorated, including the family room. Unit is equipped with a full kitchen, dryer and washer.
