Absolutely horrible! Black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, toilet wouldn’t flush, towels were stained, next to train tracks so trains went by blowing horns all through the night (wasn’t mentioned on the motel description), and was just overall a terrible stay!

Our room was filthy, there was a hole in the ceiling, the door barely locked, the bathroom door didn’t close, the walls and floor were so dirty. We slept and got out as quickly as we could.

Rundown. Broken knob on sink faucet, molding around door broken, walls unkempt, hair dryer did not work. The bed was fairly comfortable. The blackout curtains did not block the bright light from the outside lights - seemed like it was morning every time I was awakened (every 15 minutes or so) all night long by the rumble and horn of the trains on the tracks across the street. The shower was good. The check in staff was friendly. Would not stay here again.

Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. No bugs is always a plus! And a great price. I barely heard the train where my room was located but I actually like the sound of trains.

Trains very close by and trucks using their Jake brakes when going by. Basic room.

Doors were unlocked the whole stay

Property was beside the railway tracks, who blew their train horns all night long. Black mould surrounding the tub. Water saver shower head was poor. Bed was substandard along with pillows that you wouldn’t ever use in your home. This place gives the Travelodge a very bad name, and I will probably never stay in a travelodge again. The room didn’t have toilet paper or a proper mounting bracket even if you had toilet paper. The bedding and towels were all stained.Bathroom fan did not work. Worse room I have ever stayed in by far.

First room was dirty and hot. Both were noisy and bright.

Manager made my stay really comfortable, was very helpful when booked under my fiancés reservation “Stephen Casillas” we had some difficulties, manager came personally to make sure we were content and safe, really enjoy staying here and refer anyone who wants a nice quiet, friendly place to choose Travel Lodge here in Clovis NM.

Bring your ear plugs. Even though we had a room well back from the road, traffic noise was loud and at all hours. The heater/air conditioner was really loud too. Trains blow horns right across the road from the hotel. Sink faucet was from like 1960 and barely worked. No breakfast. Really enjoyed Leal’s Mexican though.

Owners are always very attentive and friendly

The worst experience of our lives!!!!!!!! the heater did not work and it was in the negatives the hot water was cold so no showers the front desk never answered! I had to accept a room I didn’t book cause they didn’t have any clean ones! NEVER AGAIN DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The hospitality of the staff and owners were excellent!

The place was raunchy. The room smelled like a bar. We used an air freshener but it didn’t work. There was no hot water to take a shower. The towels were nasty. They were dirty and dingy. The wash cloths were dirty, stained and you could see right through them, and it holes in it. The tv didn’t work most of time while we there. It said the room had a coffee maker but there was none to be found. The walls were dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. Didn’t sleep very. The only thing good about was that we were there only for a night. I just suggest that you spend the extra money to stay at the Hampton inn or the quilaty inn. At least have free breakfast. These guys don’t. Never staying here again. Next time I’m spending the extra money to stay somewhere else. I guess the saying is right. You get what you pay for. That explains why there were only a few vehicles. They must not have that much options.

Simple, clean and reasonably priced

The outside looked nice but once we got to the room the door was broken and wouldn't lock so they moved us to another room.when we went to the new room it was completely filthy there were flys in the room and the white towels were brown instead of white. We wound up sleeping in our car instead of staying there. Was kind of scared to touch anything in the room because of the condition and filth

The building was mid-renovation. What had been done, was very well-done. What had not been updated, needed some work. The owners were very helpful and friendly. With a little more time, the whole place will be fully updated and very nice.

Great budget friendly hotel.

Nice staff. Horrible room, no cold water in shower, dirty, bedding incomplete. No breakfast. Old and damp.

Train passes about every hour nearby, blowing its horn even deep into the night!
