From the moment we checked in, it felt as though all staff focus was on our departure and not making the stay worthy of the W-brand. The lack of attention to detail and willingness to put customer interests above personal management gripes is something I have not experienced before.

We came to the W New Orleans for the Eras Tour and we could not have had a better experience. We loved the location in the French Quarter. Perfect walking distance to just about anywhere we wanted to go. Our room was wonderful and the check in and check out experience was a breeze.

Quick trip with my daughters. Great room and the second best bed I have ever slept in ( mine is #1 ). Great location to everything the French quarter has to offer. It was quite in are room and the A/C worked like magic! Would suggest to all my friends that visit NOLA. Thank you!

I stay all the time, but this time checkin was after 4pm. Swimming pool out of service for a day or two. Elevator was not working for a day or two, I had to take the stairs. And $27 a day??? I probably won’t stay there again.

The parking fee of $55 was excessive then they added a fee on top. The $27 per day "experience fee" is a ripoff unless you plan to use these few amenities you can get & I had no use for it, so I paid $81 more for nothing. I had already paid $362/night for a room that was hot. The air conditioning never worked. We called & they brought an industrial fan, but did not even look at the A/C. It was so hot I had to buy a $40 fan at Target to be able to sleep, which was still difficult bc of the noise of 2 fans & the warm air just being moved around. The amount of money & exorbitant extra fees that I paid for 3 nights was the ruin of my trip & made it difficult to rest at all.

Perfect location for French Quarter I stay here every time I visit and the update are wonderful the new look is amazing! It’s convenient and close to everything within walking. I definitely recommend this location at the W New Orleans.

We had the BEST time at the W French Quarter- we loved the open format of the hotel, the accessibility to all the best wandering in the French Quarter, and the pool for a quick dip between excursions. We made good use of the daily resort credit. We will certainly be back!

A/C was not working properly and it was quite noisy and hard to sleep.The hotel was nice but might be a good idea to close the gate in the evening to avoid crowds that are not guests of the hotel using the pool area and the pool itself!

We had a nice room facing the courtyard for a six-night stay. Small heated pool in the courtyard was nice, we used it three time. Room, beds and bath were nice (rain shower was okay, but needed to be like 6" more out from the wall as it didn't have enough pressure to get more than ~2' from the front wall of shower. A couple of the front desk staff were good and helpful; a couple, not so much. But location is great and prices okay. We'd stay here again.

I didn’t receive the exact room that I booked that was advertised, and for the amount of money I paid it was somewhat disappointing. The staff had horrible customer service skills and didn’t give me a receipt when I paid the deposit with cash and had a hassle about it apon checking out. Will I rebook again “No”

I enjoyed my stay at the W. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The room was great and I loved having a private balcony. The service was impeccable, prompt and courteous .

No latch on bathroom door. Had to put rug against door to keep from swinging inward. Kids could pull it outward. Room service not available until 7:30. Coffee from nespresso machine was not good.

The W is in the heart of the French quarters, and we were there for essence fest and after a certain time they block the major streets off so it's almost impossible to get door to door service. You always have to get out and walk a few blocks and that's not bad but after a night out of drinking and wearing heels and the heat it's a bit much.

The pool and seating area around the pool was not cleaned daily. I could tell that the pool water had not been filtered or chemical check done during our stay. It just gave an iky nasty feeling while being there. Also there should be a pool bar service offered. It’s way too hot to not want to indulge in the pool, but when you look at the up keep of the area it’s not inviting to say the least.
