Very clean

Went to explore Downtown Dunedin and Sponge Docks. Perfect location. Wonderful front desk staff. Good breakfast and grounds were nice too.

It was a quaint and dated property. The staff were very friendly. It’s not far from local shops and restaurants.

Great location

We loved Dunedin and the Best western was a great choice for my husband and I. It is 15 minutes to Clearwater beach, 15-20 minutes to tarpon springs, 20 minutes to honeymoon island. Restaurants and shops we’re walking distance. We had a great time dancing at the blur nightclub. Overall nice place and hotel. I would highly recommend it.

The clerk asked me to leave the hotel. Said maybe i wasnt a good fit for them. I’ve never had as much as a traffic ticket in my life and have never been asked to leave anywhere-ever

While it is more a motel it in a great location. Appreciated having the breakfast available. Noisy air conditioning

Parking was awful. It was to far from the room and the elevator was super small

The pool was clean and the best thing about this property. The breakfast was meh but nice to have available. Most of the front desk staff are kinda clueless and it seems like it took two or more of them to figure things out.

Perfect location to enjoy water views and walk to downtown Dunedin… I booked a “bay view” room but it wasn’t… you have to open the actual door to see the bay… our actual view from a window and balcony was over the parking lot and the marina… This should be clarified in room descriptions as I would not have paid more thinking we actually had the water view… The bar is on the opposite side of the property from pool… but great bar with bay views… we ordered drinks and food TO-GO and brought them to the pool… food was GOOD ~ it was an easy walk to downtown even with our 3 daughters (6, 9, & 12) the free breakfast was an easy way to get something in our bellies before heading out for some fun each day…. Room was clean. Beds were fine.

Very clean room, view was on the water through back door and parking is convenient. The price was a bit much for the quality of front desk staff and the room. Beds were very worn down and sinks in significantly with just one person of average size. Pillows were of the same quality and small. The bathroom had more poorly done caulk than Home Depot. It was everywhere, gobbed around tub,on chipped tile and on the floor in front of tub. It seems the facility charges mostly for being on the water and does not put enough money back into updating properly. The staff seemed nice enough but were having a lot of difficulties checking in and out. Upon check in I was given another person room key to which I walked in on. In Florida we have a law that allows you to protect yourself from an intruder. After that I didn’t feel confident with asking anything for or about my trip. Great view, perfect town and a great restaurant next door. Don’t expect a luxury stay, bedding is cheap bring your own.

Large rooms, beach house theme/style. Great location, walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Back door went out to large, shared covered porch on water. If you have casual, beach style expectations you will not be disappointed, even without the beach!

Great location

Not happy. Woke up at 3 am because smoke detector was going off and we told them about it at like 3pm. Assumed they fixed when we were gone because it stopped. But got points and have no idea how to redeem it

The property is in a great location. The description says waterfront view but the real view is of the parking lot. The hotel faces the wrong way. There is also an issue with light coming into the room. There is no way to block the light due to the high ceiling and a skylight in the room. Will not stay there again. It was NOT a water view.

Nice large room, great location.

Great location and good sized rooms. The picture of the pool is highly deceptive… it is smaller irl. The room was perfect for 4 girls to get ready in with plenty of room. However- there were only 3 towels and when we asked for more they wanted to trade the dirty ones and not give us any extra (weird). The lady at the front desk (Paula) is super slow and cranky and made comments about younger employees not knowing their jobs. She should keep that to herself.

The location of this property is amazing! Our favorite!

It was a great area, walking distance to shops, restaurants and a short drive to Honeymoon island. We took the shuttle bus to Tarpon Springs and Clearwater beach for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was a plus. My only observation is that the bathtub needs to be recaulked. Other than that, the place was awesome.

Unfortunately, I came home today with bedbug bites all over me. I called the hotel got no answer. Left a message and they have not called me back. I’m sure it’s something they have to deal with. I just wish someone would call me back and let me know what’s up I stay in room 228.

Small bathrooms. Old showers. But great location

Awesome setting and nice size room. The morning breakfast with variety of cold and hot food was great. The waffles were a bonus. Loved being able to see water and marina from the room. I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Dunedin. Walk to everything. Pier to watch the sunset and ferry to Clearwater and beach are steps away.
