Great property

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at your Marriott property. Unfortunately, my experience was far below the standards I have come to expect from the Marriott brand as an AMEX card holder. I encountered multiple issues that significantly affected the quality of my stay, including: 1. Roach Infestation: I had multiple encounters with roaches, culminating in a particularly distressing moment when I found them crawling on my feet. They continued to appear and one crawled onto my pillow which I threw on the floor, covered with a trash can and had to call maintenance to remove. He was a caucasian heavy man with long hair please confirm. I also met with multiple housekeeping and engineers to rectify. This issue was exacerbating and presented medical challenges due to my respiratory symptoms (constant smell and visible mold) and now new onset anxiety (large roaches) 2. Inadequate Air Conditioning: Despite meeting with the engineer and two AC technicians, and even after replacing the thermostat, the room temperature was uncomfortably low at 59 degrees, with no ability to adjust it. These issues were exacerbated by the fact that staff appeared to be more focused on covering up the problems rather than resolving them.

We came in because our grandson was having surgery out Children's Hospital. We were late arriving and they were extremely nice when I called ahead of time to let them know. We were tired from a long work day and then traveling, and the room was clean and very comfortable. We were on a time schedule because of the surgery so we purchased the breakfast vouchers. We were told at check in that it would begin at 6:30, so when we went down at 6:45 no one was there getting anything ready.our only negative to the trip was the lack of concern from the front desk receptionist about it! She could have cared less, and said none of the servers showed up for work! I didn’t stress over it because that isn’t the fault of anyone that was actually there! They did honor the breakfast voucher and we ordered off of the menu! It was a quick but very pleasant stay! I would definitely stay again!!

SErvice4 was top notch. The front desk was accommodating and fast to solve minor issues with grace and cordiality. The room was comfortable and the view simply lovely. Only negative was the exercise center which lacks proper ventilation and necessary equipment

Lovely clean pleasant

The hotel was close to Bourbon Street yet far enough way for some quiet when needed. The room was large and I had everything I needed. My only gripe would be the fridge was too cold and froze all my food. There was no control to turn down the coolness.

Absolutely love this hotel. Rooms were very nice! Staff is extremely friendly w helpful. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was by far the best experience I have had and I travel a lot.

A nice place, with a great sense of style. A few things were slightly off, like a dripping faucet, a stained towel, hot/cold mixed up. But overall it was a great location and a nicely peaceful room.

very old and dirty hotel

Arrived a day late because of flight cancellations and despite calling the hotel to let them know, when i arrived they said the reservation had been automatically cancelled by expedia. The manager stepped in and made things right and even gave me dinner, breakfast and drink vouchers. Great service and good location

Great concept hotel. Unfortunately, there were several challenges, including the old pipe system w/very limited temperature control flexibility. After maintenance made an adjustment to the 60° temp in my room, I woke up the next day to it being close to 80°. Loath to be a diva guest, I hated to bother maintenance again, but did. The temperature was adjusted again .... and after a couple hours was back in the low 60s range. I gave up. Experience has taught me to travel w/a light wool blanket, of which I made good use. The king-sized bedroom was simply outfitted, and bathroom toiletries basic. Otherwise, staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very nice. I loved the room design using the original brick walls. Staff was on point and extremely friendly. We will be back.

Clean and comfortable but also had a really nice character. Some reviews mentioned noise, I didn’t experience that facing the alley. It was on a relatively quieter street but still very walkable to the French Quarter etc. the hotel staff were nice and there is complimentary water at the front desk if you ask. It was nice having a bar in the hotel too if you feel like a quieter atmosphere. Server at the bar was excellent and didn’t rush us to finish drinks while they started to close for the night.

Everything about my room was perfect. Everything. The concierge, the man at the desk, the maids, the bartenders were all professional, courteous, knowledgeable and a delight to deal with. A lot of construction going on close by so you had to keep an eye on your walking, but even that wasn't a big deal. I will stay here next time I come to New Orleans no question.

Cute and cozy boutique hotel with lovely decor. Check-in was very quick and easy. Front desk staff were always friendly, kind, and attentive. Complimentary bottled water, just ask the front desk nicely! Free 2 oz wine tasting. Comfortable king size bed. Good location, short enough walk to Bourbon Street/Jackson Square but far enough from the noise to get some sleep. Sliding bathroom door can be tricky and gets stuck sometimes. Super thin walls. I can make out the words people are saying in the hall from the bed. When people walk by it sounds like their footsteps are inside your room. Not a deal breaker for us though. What I can’t get on board with is the unbearably loud construction at 3-5am. Other reviews also mentioned this but I thought it would be over about time we arrived, but I was wrong. Also not sure if the noise issue is dependent on which side and floor of the hotel you’re on. We were on the 5th floor and stayed April 21st-24th. For this reason we won’t be returning until the construction is completed.

One of our 2 rooms wasn't quite ready. However, kiera took care of all of our needs in a quickly manner! Valet service was amazing along with the front desk.The rooms were awesome

This building is older and I did not have hot water on three out of four mornings. Maintenance was able to get it going one morning and I was in too much of a hurry to wait for that on the other two days. I reported it though and the front desk lowered my bill. So there are problems associated with the older building but everyone is aware and does their best to deal with it.

Great Location and quiet

In New Orleans for an award for daughter. Hotel well located for walking downtown, convention center, WWII museum and restaurants. Rooms very small with limited space for clothing/suitcase.

Nice quaint hotel room. Convenient to everything we were there for. New Orleans vibe with friendly staff. Really enjoyed the breakfast too.
