Room was clean and comfortable. Décor was a bit quirky. Only negative was very limited space in the breakfast area.

the breakfast is a clusterf…— the coffee station is jammed into an impossible cranny that creates impatience and chaos. Coffee should be easily accessible. Put other things ( waffle maker, toaster ect into that “closet”, and coffee out front. The apple juice tasted diluted and weak. Otherwise it’s OK.

I always try to stay here when I am in Dalida. It's clean, comfortable and the staff has always been friendly.

The front desk person was so rude. She told me they were very under staffed. My room was dirty. I didn't get in until 11:00 pm so I just dealt with the dirty sheets. My bath tub dripped. There was hair all over. The curtains has holes on them. There was about a 1inch by 2 inch hole under the door. The nightstand were dirty and sticky. The hot tub seemed sketchy. The breakfasts options were pretty good.

Clean room and pretty quiet even with a lot of occupancy. Layout of the room was a bit tight. Not sure why hotels offer small coffee makers with tea bag sized coffee for them. Not worth the effort or the space that they take up in already cramped quarters.

Clean and comfortable

The game room was great. My kids loved it and we played there until it closed. The only problem we had was our ac wouldnt cool any more than 75. But it wasnt even worth mentioning to front desk.

Everything was just fine. Very clean room and had a very comfortable bed. The only negative was that room was marketed as a mini-suite. It was one of the smallest rooms i ever stayed in. The bathroom was just barely big enough for a toilet and tub. There was a very uncomfortable couch that could seat 1. Nothing about the room had anything you could argue would qualify it as a suite. It felt pretty crowded for 2 of us. That being said, the staff was very nice and helpful and the room seemed recently renovated and it was immaculate.

Marie was awsome. She was so welcoming. Our AC did quit in the middle of our last night.

The hotel met our needs…price & location. The 1 issue we had, no fault to the hotel, is the electricity went out across the entire hotel & city of Salida, CO between 10:00-10:30 at night. The electricity had not been restored when we left about 8:30 in the morning

We were supposed to stay in a room with a king size bed with a Mountain View but you could only see the parking lot view and we ended up with a queen size bed. I would’ve complained about it but I chose not to because we had a very exhausting day and we were just tired and wanted to lay down and relax. It was definitely a small room and the bed was super comfy, which was probably the only plus side. The AC unit wasn’t working properly which was basically like a window unit. It was super hot in the beginning of the evening and then super cold in the middle of the night. The hot tub is basically sitting in the middle of the parking lot in some kind of shed type building. The breakfast wasn’t what I would’ve hoped for because they didn’t have any hot meals, except for waffles. It was basically just cereal, fruits, hard boiled eggs, muffins and waffles. I’m very disappointed in what I thought was going to be a cute little hotel/inn but didn’t end up being that way.

My 3 kids and I had a fabulous stay here on our road trip adventure! Close to downtown Salida, really clean, comfortable beds, great rec room, kind staff, and loved the decor. Also affordable for this solo mom. Thank you!!

Prosperity was acceptable and the cheapest price in the area. It did not have a cook stove as was shown in the photo of the room on their website.

I wanted an inexpensive hotel for a two-night stay in Salida. I choose the Gateway Inn based on price and location based on the photos on the Hotels.com website. As we all know sometimes what we see is not what we get. But not in this case. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The continental breakfast was even good! I would recommend the Gateway for anyone who wants to get the most bang for their hotel buck.

Nice affordable place to stay in Salida.

The property was very clean and well equipped. Location was great. The room we booked was for 7 people but had only two beds!!! We had to book another room and pay extra for it.

The AC in the room made a horrible noise the entire night. The parking lot was loud late at night and early in the morning. Not a very comfortable place for leisurely travelers.
