This hotel is advertised as a Fairfield Marriott but this hotel doesn’t meet the standards of the other Fairfield hotels we have stayed in. The toilet didn’t flush well and a couple times no water would fill back up into the tank. The AC unit on the wall was not working properly. The bathroom was more like a motel instead of a nice area to shower and change clothes. The food didn’t taste good. The hotel was dirty in the hallways and windows. The staff was nice but that is about it. I want a discount on our room and the hotel said they can’t give me a discount since I paid through hotels. Com. The rating of this hotel on this booking site is inaccurate.

We like coming to this Marriott as it is located sort of central to Layton and Syracuse. We used it for our stay when visiting Antelope Island and it was a fun time. The front desk staff were a bit young, inexperienced, and naive. They struggled to answer simple questions they should have immediate answers to like "what time does the pool close?" The breakfast was good with plenty of options. The breakfast staff were the most helpful and kindest on the property

Very nice with a bathroom that I didn’t have to touch the toilet when I got out of the shower! Pretty clean, nice breakfast, healthy. Ice bucket smelled really bad.

Couldn’t sleep because of freeway noise.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff were available and happy to help with refills. Plenty of silverware. Loved the mints and water at check in. Liked that there was ahot tub and it was open till 11! Pull out already had sheets on it was wonderful! Elevator 1* light was out, but elevator was still useable. Enjoyed our stay!

The beds were not very comfortable but it was clean. The bathroom in the lobby was not the cleanest but breakfast was wonderful!

Safe, clean, and convenient

Bed was comfortable and super clean. Very spacious as well. We did hear a bit of road noise but not enough to be alarming. Breakfast was good. We loved the friendly staff. They were very full of the parking lot was an inductor. Couldn't hear noise from rooms above or around us.

We like this Fairfield Inn. Ir is clean and up to date, the beds are comfortable and they allow pets. The breakfast was delightful AND HAD BACON!!! You don't see that much anymore.

The check in process was fine. The room was less than expected. The phone did not work. The outlet on the lamp next to the bed did not work. The bedding was very uncomfortable ( especially the pillows ). The lighting in the bathroom was very dark. There was rust in two places in the bathtub were a hand rails should be. For the price I was expecting more. So as a travel agent I will not be able to recommend your hotel. Thank you

The location is great. Staff was very friendly and nice. Definitely an older hotel but clean.

They were kind enough to let me grab a bowl of oatmeal even though I was 10 minutes too late to get a real breakfast. The bed was comfortable. I do need to say, the freeway noise was pretty loud. They need to request a sound barrier from UDOT be put up.

Great location

We stayed in this hotel last summer while it was under renovation and it was awful, we refrained from writing a review and contacted them directly regarding the issues at that time, we got a generic sort of apology. I mistakenly booked the same hotel again and it was even worse, not one of the issues we brought to them last summer were resolved. The remodel was done very poorly, the wallpaper is peeling off the walls, baseboards are uneven and half unpainted, the heat and air only work so/so. Our room was not cleaned during our stay, nor were we given enough towels for the number of guests we listed as staying with them. House keeping staff were pleasant when contacted and got us additional towels as requested, but then the next day we had the same issue and had to again request additional towels. Paint is peeling all over the common areas and pool. The breakfast is a total joke, you never expect much at a place like this but this is beyond bad. Bottom line. I will never make this mistake again and this hotel is on the never again list.
