Parking prices were exorbitant but location was great

Great downtown location. Friendly polite employees. Spacious and clean rooms. Safe parking garage next door.
4.1
Room was sub par… I expected much better but the renovations are just crappy. Light fixtures are crooked, crappy sheet rock work, etc.
Just a bunch of kids running the front desk and valet- they could barely explain how to park so we just gave up and valet parked. Water and coffee in the lobby were pretty much always empty. The lobby is so loud you can barely hear yourself thing between the restaurant that’s open and all the people gathered everywhere.

I have stayed at other Magnolia properties throughout the US with minimal problems. That is why I am shocked at the conditions of this hotel.
To begin with the elevators were dirty. When we got to our room at 1st glance the room looked tidy but very plain. Once we looked a little closer it was a bit more run down then we expect at this price point. The grout was missing on most tiles on the bathroom floor. It made for sharp corners on the floor and my pinkie toe got stabbed on one.
The window sill area was dirty and looked like someone had spilled "milk" on the sill and splashed the window.
The carpet was frayed an coming up at the bathroom threshold. The oulets on rhe desk didn't work. The glasses in the room were dirty and it looked like water had dried in the bottom.
We tried to call and stop by the desk for nrw glasses, ice and water and couldn't reach anyone for over 30 min. Once we did we had to go down and get it ourselves.
The couches down stairs were dirty and I didn't want to sit on them.
This was a special night out for my husband and I for our anniversary so we wanted something nicer then normal. It was a serious let down for tbis price point.

Very clean and convenient to Coors Field. Parking is an issue unless you want to pay $59 per night for valet. Great breakfast!!

We had reserved month ago we requested adjoining rooms non of this happened!! the 4 pm check in time is extremely late. The service in the bar and restraurant VERY slow!
4.1
Good location. Valet parking was expensive. The floor in the lounge was very sticky. I asked for change at the front desk and it took them 10 minutes?

The hotel was just meh. Felt old, bathroom was oddly impractical (white ceramic sink looks like was maybe retrofitted into an old cabinet?). Zero counter space. It was just a giant sink. Ironically didn’t drain well Massive noise from the air conditioning or HVAC in our room. I expected more, so overall disappointment and would not choose to stay there again.
4.1
Nice enough place. Check in is later, 4pm wine if you need to check in early, there is an additional fee.
Valet is available.

Quick but enjoyable trip in the heart of Denver.

The elevators were mostly broken. Only 1 of the 3 were working.
The staff otherwise was great and the restaurant on site is delicious

The hotel is is a great location for walking to many areas. There were a few homeless at night so you should be aware. Parking was less expensive at the lot on Stout which is the block past the hotel. Dont park in the garage next to the hotel. The hotel staff was doid but the staff at the restaurant Henrys was fantastic. The one real isdue we had is the room had no dresser for your clothes. There was a narrow shelving unit in the closet with the safe for only one person to use. My husband lived out of his suitcase. The room was very large with a couch and ther

We stayed one night here while attending a concert at mile high. Easy to get around. Beautiful hotel with a by gone era feel. We had a room on the 12th floor. Amazing views! The room was clean and cozy. Would definitely stay here again!

Property was clean and staff was amazing!!

Property was nice and clean. Staff was kind and had great customer service. Complimentary morning breakfast and tea, along with night time cookies and milk was a nice treat. We had a great burger and drinks at the restaurant Harry’s. The staff at the restaurant were also great. The room was a bit small, but most hotels in downtown Denver are similar. Overnight parking was $59, which is pricey. That is my only con. I wish they would lower the price for their customers. Overall, great experience, great staff, great food, great stay. Would definitely stay again!
4.1
It was very convenient for us we parked at hotel and walked to Coors stadium and then we walked back lots of restaurants and bars along the way so it made our concert experience very enjoyable.

Paul at the front desk was AMAZING!!
Very walkable to everything!

Staff was amicable and always courteous. Room was always kept clean and tidy. Amenities were always made available and someone was always on stand by in case we needed anything. Had no complaints and only praises .

The room and property itself were great. Staff was super nice and helpful for check in and out, complimentary coffee in the morning and cookies and milk and night was a cute touch. The restaurant inside was good, but service was SUPER slow, but I think they might have been short staffed so I don’t fault them for that. Room was spacious, just wish they had a fridge in the room. We went when there was a lot of construction so parking wasn’t great but again, to be expected with the construction. Only bad thing I can say is you can hear everything in the room, we were close to the elevator and we could hear it ding every floor. Still giving the place 5 stars due to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the hotel itself overall was exactly what we wanted

A lot of construction around the hotel area.

Unfortunately when we checked in they were over booked so they sent us to another hotel down the street which was a pain because we had to move our luggage with us when we picked up our rental car the next morning!

Property was great

The hotel was fairly nice. The lobby had an extremely strong potpourri smell that was hard to ignore. I appreciated having complimentary bottled waters provided occasionally.

This is not a 4 star hotel. It smells so musty and they spray so much air freshener to cover it up that my eyes were watering. The bathroom consists of a garden tub you have to crawl over to shower. If you have any mobility issues you will not be able to access the shower. The rooms are small, poorly appointed and dated. The AC runs until it gets to temp and then shuts off so the room gets hot again and then the cycle starts over.
On a positive note, staff are very nice, as is the lobby. The beds were really comfortable as well.

The Magnolia Hotel is a nice place to stay with courteous staff and good facilities. It would be fair to say that this part of Denver is not looking at its' best with lost of roads dug up and empty shops. It would be helpful if the hotel would show public car parks on its' web site - this omission is clearly a means to drive cars to valet parking.

Property was central and convenient for walking to museums and dining. Just get your own ice - we were on 12th floor and we supposed to call to front desk for ice. It took an hour the first time and we never got the second request. It's on the 1st floor - just get it yourself.

Front desk staff was great.

Great hotel!! The only issue was hot water in the shower. It took forever to get hot water to come out of the shower

From start to finish, the Magnolia staff took excellent care of me. The front desk staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, and housekeeping kept everything clean and fresh.
The onsite restaurant, Harry’s, provides friendly and efficient service, and I got room service for about 2/3 of my meals. The banana bread French toast, truffle fries, and grilled cheese with tomato bisque were a few favorites.
I’m a huge fan of older architecture being restored and maintained so I was thrilled to see the original 1911 facade preserved. You can tell that the elevators were likely modernized in the early 1990’s during the first major building renovation, which gives them a charming retro feel. That does mean that it takes a few extra minutes to get up to your room or down to the lobby, so you’ll want to keep that in mind when planning your day.
As an added bonus, cookies and milk are served every night in the lobby. Such a nice touch!
Thank you Magnolia staff for hosting my absolutely lovely stay!

Harry’s restaurant staff were inattentive, tables were dirty and after waiting over 15 mins without being attended to. We left.

There is construction in the area but it doesn’t impede foot traffic. Main gripe is that there was no mini fridge in the room but we probably got a downgraded room for the rate we paid.
Parking is 3rd party and weird to access because you have to walk down the parking deck car ramp to get out but the elevator will apparently be operational in 6 weeks. Do not even try to park anywhere else if you stay here, but $30 per day isn’t bad and if you can pay $60/day for valet the service is amazing.
The staff is very helpful and even held our bags for 24hrs while we hung around Colorado in wait of our flight. The on site restaurant was good but arrive early for take out so it’s not cold and you can get a hold of the bar tender. The free cookies are nearly impossible to catch but the coffee shop in front has awesome $6 breakfast burritos and well priced coffee.
Overall, it was nice to be right off 16th street mall and close to everything in downtown. The hotel is in very good shape for its age, it was cool to stay somewhere with lots of history and we were 25-60 minutes from most of the hiking spots we intended to hit.
We paid $177/night excluding fees, so 5/5 for the experience, no doubt.

It was crampt and musty. Not the friendliest staff.
4.1
Simple, elegant, small is the best way to describe. What else can you expect in a downtown. Nonetheless, it was clean, cozy. Paying for parking will make a hole in your pocket
4.1
The car park elevators were down and we had to park on the 6th floor. No fun

Clean, clean, clean. Friendly staff. Good walking proximity to dining, shopping choices.

The staff was the best part of the experience they were friendly and kind!
