Nice room quiet great location

For the price and convenience, it was good. My only complaint would be the mattress was not the best, and the chair (not computer chair) was not as comfortable as it could have been. I would suggest a recliner, as there was plenty of room for one. Our maid was awesome and took care of our needs, she was easy to work with and did a great job!

Awful. No one should stay here

It was a nice place for us to stay while headed to Orlando. We found ourselves booking 2 more nights on the way back to tx

Check in went really well. Check out not so good didn't get a receipt.

The first room they gave us had a horrendous smell. Stains on sheets. Second room had roaches and all the towels had stains like dark dirty stains. Left did not like it at all.

Lobby locked, had to use check-in window. Free breakfast advertised but no breakfast at all. Clogged sink in room.

Stayed overnight on my way from Florida to Texas and I got a good night's sleep here.

People screaming, the room smelled horrible, air didn’t work good, people going in and out of rooms all hours of the night. And then housekeeping was banging on my door at 840 in the morning

The property owner was exceptionally helpful. I'm handicapped and need additional assistance and he was very kind and considerate.

Very clean. Great price great area next time we’re in that town. We will definitely stay. I highly recommend anybody looking for a hotel in Defuniak Springs to stop by. You won’t be disappointed.

The location was great for our needs. The room itself was spare but very clean. Internet access was non-existent and no front desk help to correct it. There was absolutely no information regarding the area, where to eat or even how to use the TV, not even a phone book. Being from out of town that kind of information would have been very helpful

Customer service with a smile. Room nice and clean..area have Waffle House,Starbucks and a gas station within walking distance.

We were traveling home and stopped after a long drive to check in about 11pm. I was sound asleep when someone knocked on the door 3 times and then just opened the door ! At 8 AM !!! How do they NOT know what rooms are occupied ????

The cleanliness of the room, check-in was very easy, and the person was very nice to me. The rates are reasonable non-smoking room is a plus the only thing that I can say the ice machine wasn’t working but overall it is great here.

Really loved this qaint hotel.

This lodge was advertised as having a breakfast and even posted a picture of the breakfast bar in the hotel on the website. But there is none. Many of us travelers select a place to stay on whether or not a breakfast is available. The owners say they told Expedia that they no longer serve breakfast.Who is telling the truth??? This is false advertising on part of Expedia.com. Shame on you!

It was good for the price. Fast check in. Clean enough. But neighbors were very noisy and not adequate

Bathroom could have been a little cleaner.

Kept awake all night by the couple screaming and throwing things, slamming the walls and the doors, right next to us. Also, there was no breakfast as advertised... couldn't even get into the lobby as it was all locked.

Despite checking in before 6pm, lobby doors were locked. Had to use after hours window. King room non-smoking smelled like cigarettes, large foot size hole in the sheetrock next to the bed. Tv with no remote and side buttons wouldn't change channels. Continental breakfast was not available (lobby doors remained locked) again had to go to small after hours window. When i reported issues with room the person who checked me appeared to not understand me and just gave me a blank look. Another guy over heard me and asked what room i was in. Took my key card and turned back to his computer without any other comments. I normally do not write reviews on hotels i stay in however if you come across this hotel just skip right over and look at another.This hotel rating through hotels.com as 7.2 when it should have been 2.7

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room.

Said breakfast included. No breakfast. No coffee machine in room. No phone in room. Employee hard to find at any time. No bulbs in room lights.

The staff is nice and responsive. My ac didn't work, could t control the temperature. The bed spread had to be changed. Staff offered to move me, but I declinef

It left a lot to be desired. We arrived. There was no one at the desk we had to wait for someone to come. Our room was smell like cigarettes, smoking steel cigarettes, smoking all night we smell cigarettes smoke we complained the next day only to be told. Well that’s non-smoking, which we said we know because we asked for non-smoking. We had two bath towels that were old and ragged. The floor was not clean. The remote for the TV did not work. We could only get one channel. There’s no phone in the room to call the front desk. I’m not sure what kind of places is supposed to be, but it was not even close to our standards, we will not stay there again.

The website said a breakfast was offered and showed many nice pictures of the breakfast area. After I checked in, I asked about the times for breakfast and was told that there is no breakfast and that the website is incorrect. This is unacceptable!
