This was an amazing stay they so friendly and helpful.

The hotel did not has enough parking for guest. We had to park outside. It’s not convenient for us.

Great location at walking distance to the centre. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. They have their own parking garage that you can use at €7.50 per night. Only thing to note is that it is a VERY narrow entrance to the parking.
Otherwise we had a nice stay here and we enjoyed being able to walk to church in the morning.

Great value hotel with nice, spacious, clean rooms. Showers are a little weird though and I found it difficult to not get water all over the bathroom floor.

The free internet was significantly better than the vast majority of UK hotels.
Bar prices were comparable to other local bars and cheaper than some that I visited. Food was of a good standard

Its a convenient hotel i ve been staying since a long time , it absolutely needs refreshing, out of date and run down look of interior should be renovated, broken tiles in the bathroom needs a hand.. but still good alternative in the town

The rooms were very very cold. The heater was not working. The lift was not working. We had to carry the luggaes 3 floors and we couldn't find where the rooms were. Direction signs at the roof floor was not good enough. Did not satisfy with my stay. I am not thinking to stay again at this hotel if I find any good alternative at that area.

A basic hotel but with everything you need for the price, clean, comfortable with a good continental breakfast selection. Although the hotel has a carpark the ramp down is very very narrow as you can see by the scrappes on the walls, park across the road.

The shower fan/ room fan did not work. There was A LOT of black mold inside our room around the windows, our shower leaked and after each shower the bathroom floor flooded. I reported the problem but noting was addressed during our 11 night stay. Carpets in our room and the hallways had a lot of large stains. Staff was great, breakfast was incredible every morning.

Nice & quiet place to stay.
Interior looks modern but often not in good condition.
Beds are simple but look nice and modern again - overall good to stay if not looking at details.

Hotel very tired - needs a complete refresh - no air con - food distinctly average

On hotels.com, the hotel had airco. But when I called the Hotel to ask them to put on already the airco (on an extremely warm summer day), they told me that the only available rooms were without airco because of technical problems, the bookings sites had been informed. When I told them that I had booked specifically a room with airco Nino and Ellen from Fletcher Weert sprung into action.
Within 2minutes, Nino called me back to tell me that a room with airco had been arranged.

The staff were friendly at check in which was quick and efficient. Parking is easy. The breakfast was tasty with a good selection. The restaurant was were nice with a good selection of drinks. The room was spacious with good wifi

I stay here quite regularly for business and always get really well looked after. The staff are all very friendly and professional, the food is great, and the rooms are all clean & comfortable. You can't really ask for anything more!

Standard rooms are very small but upper categories are better, pictures of the rooms can be deceptive. Reception staff "Kim" was very helpfull recovering a small mistake. Breakfast is at satisfactory level.

Terrible experience from the stained carpet when you enter the place to the tired look everywhere. It seemed because we booked on line we got the worst of everything. Workers pounding away on scaffolds right outside our window...tired everything in the room...by the far the worst in our whole 3 weeks in Holland in fact we moved to another great hotel with no refund for our second night in the not so Golden Tulip. Don't go! Wonder what Expedia will do for us???

It is one night stay but we visit this area once a year and we could see the improvement. Everything looks new and clean, good maintaince and nice staff.

We were visiting The Netherlands to see Andre Rieu in Maastricht but choose this hotel because the site said it had a piano bar and we felt it would be good to have entertainment in the evening. The hotel had a piano in the bar but no pianist which was both misleading and disappointing. I would have stayed in Maastricht which is a much nicer city and saved the 100km round trip. The hotel otherwise was very good although the lift does not go down to the car park and the restaurant has a limited choice of 3 main courses which did not change during the 3 days we were there.
