Check in was easy. Smell in the whole hotel was pretty bad. Went up to our room. Hall and room smelled terrible. Crawled in bed and both beds had damp blankets. Just enough to make you uncomfortable. Tried calling front desk twice without an answer. My husband went down there and couldn’t locate anyone. Kids finally passed out. Then I look over and see hair ties left on the floor. A cookie in the corner of the sitting area. Mirrors were dirty. Bathroom was disgusting.

Internet is poor and appears compromising privacy, no access to some websites was a bad surprise.

From the time we checked in until the time we stayed and actually we stayed an extra day just because it was so very nice there… It was so pleasant and appreciated… You can tell the ladies all work together very hard to keep this place going top notch… Me and my mom have been on the road for a little over a week and this was by far the best hotel the entire trip let alone my entire hotel experiences! Kudos!!!

They have been great with my boys, who have stayed there many times.

Wonderful stay. The staff was exemplary. Loved the managers dog who just chilled in the back office. Room was clean, smelled fresh, comfortable bed. Very pleased with my one night stay.

The room smelled like urine and it was the noisiest place ive ever stayed at. Very rude people were awake all night long walking around in the parking lot.

Just ok, our room smelled musty and the AC was either too warm or too cool.

There was no bottled water anywhere. Our bathroom door wouldn’t latch shut. And the pillows were all flat/hard. We had ants in our bed as well.

Staff was greeting upon arrival and very polite and helpful. Bed was too hard.

Loved the friendly and helpful staff! Our room was clean and came with a mini fridge and microwave. A/C unit worked great. Our kids really enjoyed the heated indoor pool. Close to Krogers, Walmart, a great pizza place, and a movie theater. Only negative is the Wi-fi was weak/unreliable. We would definitely consider staying here again when we visit KY.

Staff, rooms and breakfast are wonderful Safe, clean. Restaurants in walking distance. Walmart in walking distance. Highly recommend. When we travel from Florida to Michigan this is always where we stay because of always a good experience. Stayed over 7 times.

The room definitely needed work. Rust visible in the shower. So humid even with the air conditioning that everything I brought with me was damp at departure. Very uncomfortable sleeping sticky from the inside humidity. Would be nice to have an outside sitting area.

Nice staff, and a pretty decent free breakfast. The place was dirty. The remodel job was terrible. There was pieces of the floor missing. There is probably better options in the area.

Good place to stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Microtel in London. The staff were friendly, the hotel was very clean and the pool was refreshing. The breakfast was really good and fresh. Overall a great place to stay. We will book againwhen we stay inthat area!

We, a family of 6, stayed 1 night in two connected double queen rooms. Pros: if you are just looking for a place to sleep, this hotel is good value for money in a convenient location, close to restaurants and the highway. Good cable TV, good water pressure, and surprisingly great breakfast with several hot options (waffles, sausage, eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy), cereal, oatmeal, etc. Front desk was nice, gave us goodie bags upon check in (which was fast), and bottled water upon check out. Cons: both rooms were dirty - stains on one of the blankets, dirty bathroom floors with some mold around the shower, stinky carpets, and in one of the rooms, there was a big plate of old food left in the microwave.

Microtel Inn is older but clean and everyone was nice. The breakfast was very good.

Great motel friendly staff.

Room smells like mildew and smoke. Room felt damp including sheets. Gob of hair stuck to wall next to garbage. No customer service skills at check in. I was not greeted at check in and had to slide down the desk and stand and wait within eye sight while he sat finishing what he was doing before he left came out. When we left this morning the woman at the desk did not say a word as we walked right past her. It is not that hard to require your staff to greet your guests with "Hi are you here to check in?" Or "Hi. How can I help you?" And a simple "Thanks for staying with us." Or "Have a great day." Instead we were left feeling disappointed and disgusted. We did not want to shower or eat the breakfast there. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is nothing was broken and i could smell the bleach on the sheets so I knew they were clean. Wondering how much mold we inhaled all night, though.
