The staff at the Hampton Inn in Fishkill were amazing! A large group of family and friends were in town from Ireland to bury their brother. We came from Boston and stayed two nights for the funeral. The staff was friendly, professional & helpful. All staff were informed of the reason for our stay and gave condolences on our loss. It meant so much.
The only problem was we could not book our two rooms online, we kept getting an error message. My son spent a long time on the phone with your customer service, used 4 different credit cards and nothing worked. I ended up having to book through hotels.com. It went through no problem.
I still need to add my Hilton Rewards to this booking too.
The front desk asked for my rewards but we were running to the wake.
Rooms and common areas were very clean.
Fishkill staff are an asset to your company.

This Hampton Inn was a very good place for us to stay to be able to get to our activities easily. The staff was exceptional from the front desk, people to the young lady who prepared and brought out the breakfast! Also, the staff that was cleaning the rooms they were very polite and nice.

Ive stayed here before. The front of the location was under construction and the roadway in was horrible. A tour bus was parked 50 feet from my room and the air conditioning in it started and cycled every 6-8 minutes. I was up at 1am and couldnt go back to sleep.

The front desk staff is excellent, with easy check-in and check-out, the room was clean and comfortable and I especially appreciated the individual air conditioning unit that I could turn off. The breakfast was good, with a lot of options. The area is quiet even though it is near a well-trafficked route.

We were there to celebrate my birthday weekend, to attend The flea market and to relax in your pool. Upon checking in we were told thenpool was closed and most likely will not open at all over the weekend. So much for relaxation. 😞

I was a little worried when I saw the old hotel on the road hoping this wasn’t the hotel. Then we drove around back and saw the new hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful hotel and very clean. Pool wasn’t open but that was ok for us as we just stayed for one night. Definitely would stay again.

The staff was excellent and helpful. The only issue was the construction in front of hotel which blocked the view of the hotel. The breakfast was a good start of the day and a good location for a overnight stay on our way home.

The place is very clean. Little bit hard to find because it’s behind an abandoned building. Also was very disappointed that the pool was closed! Otherwise it’s quite nice with a decent breakfast.

Our room was not cleaned properly. There was dog food on the floor and two pair of dirty socks around the bed. The bathroom shower wasn’t clean and there were two dirty towels left under the bathroom sink

I got delayed by a snowstorm on my way from Georgia to Maine. When I called to see if I could move my Expedia reservation by a day because of the storm, the staff woman I spoke with was very rude. I am so unbelievably tired of hearing that "policy' prohibits decent service - no matter whose policy it is! She couldn't be bothered to express any empathy or interest in my situation, and I ended up getting charged for a room I couldn't stay in. Super bad stuff.

The hotel is at the back of an abandoned hotel? Not sure whether the property in front of Hampton Inn is under renovation but there is no sign that it is. With regards to the check in process, it was seamless, the breakfast was also decent. The property is clean, has ample parking and enough area for the dogs to use. Our room was next to the gym that was noisy from the equipment, maybe people were lifting weights, etc with loud music playing, at night when we were trying to sleep. It was quickly resolved which was great. No other issues after that. The room needs a little updating, but the beds/sheets we’re comfortable, will stay there again if I’m in the area.

Marvin at the front desk is fantastic. I arrived after 11pm and their computers were updating and I couldn’t check in. Marvin was apologetic but passed the time making pleasant chitchat. Once I was given a room (410) I was horrified when I used the key and opened the door to other guests sleeping. Back down to lobby Marvin was also horrified, apologetic, and immediately called his supervisor. After 10 mins I was given another room they were “pretty sure” was empty. Thankfully it was. Marvin said his supervisor said I would be compensated for this huge inconvenience, but I wasn’t.
Marvin needs a raise.
Otherwise, room was decently clean, beds were comfy, and there’s lots of shopping and dining options one can drive to
