good for a business trip

The Quality Inn was very well situated. It was within walking distance to shops, cafe's and to Market Square. The only complaint we had was a problem with the hot water in the shower. We had to run the water for 10 to 15 minutes and even then it was only just warm. (such a waste of water). Would still recommend this motel.

The bed was very comfortable but overall I was disappointed. Was advertised as 3 queen beds but in fact there was one queen bed and 2 singles. There were bottle tops and yoghurt lids on the floor. No milk in fridge besides saying there was. TV remote in lounge didn’t work. TV in bedroom in demo mode and couldn’t turn it off. Mirror fell off wall. Toilet sink tap was not working.

It was quiet and close to the town centre

Very handy stopover on the way from Sydney to Brisbane. Restaurants were across the road and the shopping centre was adjacent. There were lots of people staying as it was school holidays. Our unit was out the back where numbering seemed a little random. All linen was clean and crip. How to improve? There were a few items that needed handyman attention.

For $270 a night, you too can be granted a part share of a memorable cottage at the back of the hotel. Entering the room into the kitchen with adjacent toilet, the interior glass window on the toilet is the perfect way to see your friends in the kitchen, which will be important as the tap in the bathroom doesnt work. Moving to the shared bedroom and unique leaning flooring allows you to glide effortlessly from one side of the building to the other or to help get out of bed (unfortunately this only works in one direction). Finally the main bed offers specialised concave bonding sessions, forcing you and your loved one into all night contact. Like jumping from a plane without a parachute - you wouldn't do it twice.

Very clean, most helpful friendly staff. They did everything to accommodate our request for a ground floor room. We were upgraded for no additional fee.

Great and friendly staff. Manager - Janel was welcoming and friendly and was also able to recommend some dining places for our next stop (Coffs Harbour). Rooms were clean and housekeeping staff very friendly.

A nice quiet motel, the room was very clean and well equipped, the bed was comfortable.

We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids, but I think the motel has over book to a tour, so they gave me 1 double room and 1 single room, instead of a apartment family room, it made us trouble, because our kids are 4 years old, they are too young. Another thing is the room very hard to locate. Some room located at different build and hidden.

Reception was helpful, room was spacious and comfortable and the food was great quality as well , I will be staying there again

Quality inn Grafton was clean and comfortable. Were there for a family wedding and it suited us well. Good location, efficient service. Cost reasonable for the quality.

The location was great, the staff very friendly and helpful but the mattress was extremely soft.

As a travelling stayover, it works pretty well, We have stayed at other motels in the area but prefer the Quality Inn. It has a very good restaurant.

Being a female traveling alone this location was fantastic, close to town with a great restaurant on site

Good room, lots of space & convenient location

We have stayed a number of times at The Grafton Quality Inn on our trips heading up and down the coast. It is convenient for us and tends to be at the better end of the spectrum when looking for non-resort accommodation in the district. Great restaurant (but disappointingly not opened on a Sunday). It's should not be considered brand new and should be considered as Motel in limbo-land awaiting the affects of the change to the Pacific Hwy. Comfortable without being modern.

Only a short stay for an afternoon. Room very well presented. Handy location, a short stroll to the shops. Would be happy to stay there again.

Convenient for shopping and dinning. Central to the town and good access from the highway.
