Convenient hotel just outside the CBD easy access to shopping

The only complaint was the noise from above my room 331. The person/persons were heavy footed throughout the night.

Generally very happy with the accommodations and my stay here.

Property is showing it’s age, there are other properties in Hobart for a few extra dollars that are more central and a little more modern

Good location and parking is reasonable at $15.00 per day. Floor 4 was noisy, inside and outside the hotel. No toiletries in the room. Large room and comfortable bed.

Great hotel, clean and comfortable. Balcony was great. The Hanging Garden nightclub is very loud on friday and sat night, as it is an un-enclosed nightclub. So if you don’t want that coming through your room, chose a non city hotel.

The staff is very professional and friendly Property: clean and tidy.

Perfect accommodation for a family of 5. Very clean and nice. Slightly noisy from the cars on the road however still would recommend. We would stay there again. The dining room and parking were great too!

Not the best hotel at all. Location was fair, room was very average, small. Renovated bathroom was the highlight.

You get what you pay for we had no complaints

Hi, I found my stay at Best Western excellent. I particularly like the bathroom room that was very well planned for a tiny space - and the overhead shower GREAT. The check in process was seamless and any questions I had about on going travel were communicated to me most effectively - when you're over 60, often people think either your brains have fallen out or you have redressed to toddler stage - much appreciated. Thank you - PS I will definitely be back to BW with on going business commitments in Hobart.

We were really pleased with our stay. The beds were so comfortable we commented to each other each morning how good they were. The water pressure was great in the shower (important when staying for while). a bit dated with miss matched carpet however the important things were great. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was perfect easy walk to CBD and marina.

The staff were amazing sorting out an issue at check in for me.

The hotel in general met my expectations. Meals were not available for guests on Sun or Mon though which was inconvenient. Most major hotels are open for meals 7 days. The reason I have downgraded my stay is due to an open air nightclub which operates in the next block. They didn't close until midnight on 3 nights we stayed. If you are looking for peace and quiet and a good nights sleep DONT stay here.

Initial room was not what expected, clean but outdated , no smart TV and only a small kettle and bar fridge. Was moved into another room in which i expected at start from Best Western being an International hotel chain. On the whole the staff were friendly and accomodating.

First time staying here and it was great for what we needed. Super clean and close to everything we needed in Hobart.

Glasses and Cups were rinsed out by cleaning staff after the previous tenant left. They should be placed in a dish washer daily to avoid Covid. The cups had tea stain in them. I think these items need to be replaced daily, specially before new people book it. Staff were great friendly and helpful. Only compliant was the cups & glasses

Perfect so close to everything great and professional staff. Beds are very comfortable Would definitely stay there again.

Nice clean and comfortable

The fridge in our room was extremely noisy. Had to turn it off during the night. Dinner also wasn’t available for the duration of our stay.

Only gripe is with vending machine on ground floor - despite many attempts with multiple cards, was never able to get card transactions to work. Could only use coins, of which I carry very little. It's entirely possible the vending machine is the sole responsibility of the servicing person listed on front, but I thought best to highlight this for management.

Overall a very decent place.

Hobart is great and Best Western a fabulous find. Walk to Hobart Brewing Co if you like great craft beer

Everything was good except when the fire alarm went twice during our stay, staff didn’t know what was happening. We came out but some people stayed in there rooms and was on the balconies looking down. Need to have a much better emergency evacuation plan and fire marshals should check all floors etc.

First impression was poor with the incredibly unfriendly attitude from the receptionist in the morning. I said I had a booking and I had to prompt every time for any acknowledgment. Then when I checked in, the room hadn’t been vacuumed and was dusty everywhere. I would expect this from a much cheaper hotel. I was offered another room which was an improvement but next to the washer and dryers, which are on most the night. Only positive is the view over the city and the other staff are more pleasant, but would not be recommending this hotel.

Could walk to shops and market ,lots of places to eat close to hotel.

Great bed, excellent shower, friendly service. Can’t fault anything.
