Excellent hotel I will be back again

Love being right on the beach. Close to for, shopping, and massages.

Poor customer service, poor communication skills. Did not make me feel welcomed on arrival. Service and meals are the biggest concern. Meals are with minimal choice and minimal effort from staff. Pool service is not existent. Would not come back again

Staff didn’t seem to want to be there; tried making us pay cash for lunch so they could overcharge us (asked us to pay 400bht, then we requested to bill the room it magically changed to 350bht). Additionally the cleaners didn’t bother cleaning our bathroom mirror all week (dead mosquito was there for the whole week) and every time they made our bed, the blanket was around the wrong way. Its really the little things that make the difference and Beyond Kata seemed much better before the renovation.

Not bad but I was expected more for this price. Will stay in the different hotel when visit Phuket next time.

I absolutely loved staying at Beyond Kata. My room had a gorgeous full ocean view and balcony. The staff are kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The pool area and daybeds were really nice. The beach here is clean and nice for swimming. I’m so happy to have stayed at Beyond Kata.

Wonderful hotel right on the beach. We had an amazing time. A thousands positive things to say about the place. One pretty big negative: don’t use the concierge service to book excursions- we booked a boat trip to James Bond Island for 9 people and they charged US$1,300. After I already booked it I went around the corner to one of the dozens of travel agents and got a quote on the EXACT same trip for US$600. It was my own fault but I learned a huge lesson.

I had a good time

This was our fifth stay at Kata and it was perfect, as usual. Location at end of quiet beach, gorgeous ocean view, wonderful pool, excellent breakfast. Front desk very helpful. Shuttle from hotel to airport was great.

Needs to be updated. Has lots of potential due to location. Staff is helpful and friendly.

I would like that the hotel would have a little more control on what is in the room, as we were asked for bathrobes at the end of the stay when there was none when we got the room. Had I known the room was going to have them I would have checked when I got there.

Loved our stay thank you Beyond Resirt Team. Veey friendly, atrentive staff. Very clean. Best hotel access to tge wonderful beach. Thebeach bag in the room is a nice idea we used it eveey day. Convenient to nearby restaurants and shops. Will be back.

Hotel is a bit dated and rooms are basic. But the location directly on Kata beach and nearby dining options are superb

The food was okay, but the drinks were great and inexpensive. The views and sunset were incredible and it is right on the beach. The staff are so nice and accommodating. It is in a great location to walk to shops and restaurants. We had a hreat time relaxing.

The staff at the pool bar was very slow. They often saw us waiting to be served but continued to watch whatever was playing on the outdoor TV. The worst part is that the bartender sneezed while making someone's drink and never washed his hands. Then he blew his nose into the bar sink and went back to making drinks. Disgusting! The hotel location was perfect and the rooms was nice.

The positive thing about this property was that it was on the beach. However, they never had a guest relations rep available for our entire 5 day stay, they did not have anyone who really understood English, they would not adjust our AC so it would cool our room, the room smelled musty, the toilet rarely flushed, and the pics that they displayed for the daily dinner buffet specials were not accurate (ex. Steak & Shrimp on Friday night had no steak or shrimp!). It could be a cultural thing, but none of the food was ever hot; Luke warm to cold only. I would never stay here again!

*Price / quality ratio is not good! This is an old hotel with too high prices (250 euro per night for 3p room). Very old and not ok bathroom. Room has been renovated but both worth the money. *Service @ reception is poor: smiling but not helping you. When you compare this to the average staff of an Hilton hotel (prices of hotels are comparable) they will get a 3 out of 10. Examples: not be able to print your boarding pass (can’t find your email..it’s in the spam so we need IT to fix this...blabla), you can only get 2 keys and for the second key you have to sign that when you loose this, you have to pay 3500 Baths (100 euro)!! Speedy check out not possible: they have to check your room personally (never had this before! *Location is top: direct access to the beach. *60% of the guests are Russian people. * Good breakfast! Personnel is not really kind ...used to service the Russians? *Kata Beach is not Patong Beach but was very crowded and didn’t meet my expectations.

Excellent hotel on the beach with superior service with friendly and helpfull staff. Beautiful location and very clean. Had an enjoyable stay
