The staff at check in was exceptionally nice and helpful. My husband was not feeling well and the young lady helping me was so helpful, getting our room as quickly as possible. I was so grateful and the rest of our family was able to continue our day. Our rooms were very nice, and again the young lady from the front desk personally made sure everything was perfect. The breakfast was great with many choices readily available. I would highly recommend this hotel! Another wonderful surprise was having air conditioning that actually worked considering there were unusually high temperatures.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for Schaffhausen as it is opposite the station and adjacent to the old town. Everything is walkable and the Rhinefalls are easily accessible by train. The room was very quiet and well appointed.Breakfast was fabulous. Really wish we had stayed another night as the stay was so pleasant. Especially the little birthday surprise at breakfast. Wonderful!

Our stay in that hotel was very pleasant. Staff - very friendly, room and the whole facility - very clean. Breakfast was delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was, that the hotel doesn’t have rooms with balcony or private parking.Nevertheless, I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay there next time in winter.

Good service. The lady serving breakfast was particularly nice and helpful. The rooms were nice in that they were practical (I counted at least 9 plug sockets) and seemed to be well soundproofed. I was less keen on the furniture (It was all made out of the same light-coloured wood) and the carpet. I felt the rooms would need to be modernised (especially considering it's a 4 star hotel).

Being on BahnhofStrasse, there is a constant amount of noise from the street below of you are billeted on the street side, room was large and comfortable (especially for Europe) Breakfast was very good with a large selection of everything.

Great location,... Schaffhausen Train Station across the street. Bus stop right in front. Supermarket round the corner. Walking distance of Schaffhausen Old Town Walk. Ask for a map from the reception. Very nice hot breakfast and coffee. Friendly and very helpful staff. Definitely recommended.

Near the station as you would expect. Pleasantly surprised to find that it was also next to the pedestrian part of town with the restaurants etc. Extremely helpful and pleasant reception staff.

The staff was very accommodating & helpful. The breakfast was good. The furniture & feel of the room was basic, but it was spacious. It had AC which was fabulous as it was extremely hot in Switzerland this week. The location was excellent to the Bahnhof & town.

Excellent location across the street from train station - train to Rhine Falls only takes 5 minutes. Hotel was very clean and quiet, with friendly helpful staff. Room was a bit small.

Size of room was ok, only thing was that this time round my room was facing the train station instead of the old town so early morning I cld hear the train n since it was weekend there were some people who were out and screaming on the streets. I had to wait til 3.35pm for my room to be ready. Breakfast spread was also good.

Its just across the Schaffhausen station within 1 min walk. Staff are so nice and they even helped me print out my train reservations coz I forgot to bring. Breakfast is very good and room is big with all amenities needed. Highly recommended!

Looks like recently renovated. Staff very helpful. Train & bus station right across the road very convientant. We left the car in the lock up car garage (chf15pn = good security) and used the train and bus. Night noise can be all but eliminated by closing the windows.

We had a great experience here! Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Our last day we still wanted to explore, past the check out time (1100), they allowed us to store our bags in a cabinet so we could continue to enjoy the area... beautiful area by the way!
