Description says there is laindry but there was no laundry.

Hotel was under renovation. Lots of noisy building work. If id have known i would have found somewhere else.

First of all the parking situation is horrible, not enough spaces and very tight $30 additional a night. If you reserve beforehand it is $15 but I didn't know. Secondly, I paid a lot more than my friends and got the smallest room in the building facing a wall with smokers next door. In need of remodeling, very dingy. The 2 things I liked were the proximity to everything and the bed was comfortable.

Any review that doesnt overtly describe the wharf inn as the absolute worst hotel they've ever stayed in is a plant. It was dirtying, Disgusting, old, awful in every way. The toilette had to be turned off. There was boogers on the Wallstreet, no kidding. The patking was full. I was assured the closest lot was priced the same at 30 bucks, surprise, it was 120 for 16 hours. Couldnt wait to leave. You will too if you stay there. Its close to fishermans wharf though.

Place and facilities looks rundown for outside but the room looks new on the inside.
3.8
Room was clean and very comfortable. Got the balcony room which my wife and I loved enjoying some Sparkling Wine and looking at the SF bay and sights.
3.8
Extra parkimh charges, room was not good, bathroom gas no exhaust, overpriced.
3.8
Overall, choice place to stay. The staff were all really nice. Better than expected for the location. Nothing was bad. If you know SF you know that people here have to deal with a lot of different types of people. So nobody's kissing your a$$, unless you want to pay another 500/night somewhere.
Everything was clean and at par for a typical hotel room. They are in the middle of an upgrade. So somethings are outdated and there's construction noise fairly early.
Considering the private parking at $30/day and the location, and everything else... For SF this one is okay, definitely a 6/10 where to ten is 800+/night.

It was a great stay. I enjoyed my stay. Staff was friendly. Its next to fishermans wharf. Makes for a great night to have!

IT Was just nice, perfect location

Needs a complete remodel but the location is excellent.

I love staying here! It's my favorite place to stay when I'm In SF. The beds need to be upgraded a bit. Specifically the pull-out beds. Those were extremely uncomfortable. Other than that, this place was great!

Really liked being close to wharf.

As soon as we got to this property, we were off to a bad start as they said their parking was full, despite us being told when we called that we would have a spot. So, late at night, my family and i had to find an open parking garage, pay for parling, and then walk multiple blocks with all of our luggage.
When we finally got to the room, there was a pubic hair on the bed, blood stains in the toilet, and a bath tub that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a week.
There was no other rooms available to switch to since they were sold out and since it was late at night on a Friday night, there was nothing else available to move to.
It was quite the bad experience for my wife, 8 year old son, and myself. We will never stay here again and would advise everyone else to stay far away.

Hotel is very old and outdated. Stains on shower current and holes. Chipped paint everywhere. Had to have maintenance 3xs open our door. Keys kept not working.
3.8
Pictures looked better than in person. It was a good stay, but not what expected.
3.8
I don't really do reviews but I did see some before my stay and it was really hit or miss. But to be quite honest, it was a great retreat. Staff was awesome location is everything was very quiet during my stay, I didn't feel threatened at all. Definitely visit again, the Pier the wharf. Everything is within walking distance.
3.8
We have to wait 30 minutes to get our room, almost no space for parking,
3.8
Convenient area for getting around. Unfortunately they have not updated this site to the fact that parking is now $30 a night and not free as it is listed.

This hotel looked different online than in person. We arrived and then decided to get another hotel. It wasn't up to my standards.

We got one room with two king beds for two adults and two teens. While the rooms are not super updated and fairly basic they are meticulously cleaned which I appreciated. The area is 1/2 block from the main Fisherman’s Wharf area which is super convenient. We had scheduled a couple of activities right in the area (Alcatraz tour, yellow go carts tour) so it was great to be able to walk right to those activities. We were also able to walk easily to the North Beach and Chinatown areas. Parking was fairly easy, we were able to get a spot in the parking lot each night, although I feel like I did have to think about it (like strategize when we came back in order to ensure a spot). The staff was very courteous. One major problem was some party that happened across the street one night, the bass was so loud, we could feel it vibrating the beds and our bodies until around 11, not exaggerating. I was not a fan of that, I’m not sure if the hotel had any knowledge of this kind of thing happening, but it would have been nice to have had some kind of warning as to the possibility. Overall, it was a basic hotel stay that fit our needs and budget, and was great for our family vacation.

Block from Fishermans Warf which was nice. Hotel is old and run down but sacrificed for location and the free parking Secured entry wich was nice. Because area by hotel had lots of homeless, at night people sleeping on mattress on sidewalk and doing meth next to building. We stayed there twice during 2 week vacation on California coast. The first night parking was free (why we chose this particular hotel). When we came back a week later for a couple more nights it was suddenly $30 a day for parking when we were able to check in. When we arrived at the hotel at 6pm on a Saturday to check in we were locked out of lobby on the street waiting to check in with sign on window-be back in 30 Had to wait out on the street for 30 minutes for someone to show up so we could enter and go to our room. Lucky we had plenty of homeless to keep us company 😡. The free parking originally made this a economical choice to use but a since they now seem to be charging for parking there are much better options you can find a deal at
3.8
Not enough parking for all rooms. We were told that we would have to park on the street and wake up at 5:30am to pay the meter or risk getting a ticket.
3.8
Stay was OK. Location is great. Property condition is poor. Signs say remodeling is happening but saw no signs of it. Many things missing in room. No ice bucket, no hangers, safe was locked and no one came to open it so we could use it. If driving be sure you secure a parking space before arriving. Room is only serviced every other day. There were only 2 coffee pods for a two night stay.

The toilet in our room did not work and was disgusting and the electrical outlets in the bathroom didn’t work either.

Check in was fast and the staff was nice. The location is great, but the noise, good god the noise. First, the walls are thin, we heard every step above us, pounding on the doors somewhere in the place at 2am, and everyone walking in the halls, and that's in the place. Then there is the area, wow. Just loud. Cars racing in the streets, motorcycles revving their engines, and then there is the street noise. Every homeless person has their own speaker system and cranks their tunes, 7-11 across the street has homeless yelling and screaming outside non stop, the street artists half a block away have their PA systems, it was non stop noise pollution. I used the wave machine on my phone and that helped. Also, the place is run down. My pillow had a crackling sound, I investigated the next morning and there was a candy wrapper in the pillow case. Signs up that say they are remodeling, but I didn't see any evidence of that, elevator broke 2 days while we were there. And I am not a hotel snob at all. Some of this was expected, but man, the noise was just over the top. Oh, and the headboard fell off the wall the first night we got in bed. I think I'd spend a bit more and stay close, but in a nicer place, next time. This was a family trip, we live close, but wanted a few nights in SF with our kids, 5 and 7. SF is a great city, mostly felt safe, weather was perfect.

It was ghetto to say the least. Paint chipping, bed was dirty, we asked the front desk to change our sheets when we first checked in since they were dirty and they didnt
3.8
I loved the location and convenience of being able to walk around and get to food and entertainment within minutes.
3.8
Staff is amazing! Parking is safe. It was definitely built in the 60's but its worth its quirks!
3.8
Very loud at night but that’s the area not the hotels fault.
3.8
Amazing cliff views, very clean. Staff was friendly and supportive. Decent breakfast. Awesome jacuzzi
3.8
What a dump! Run down, poorly managed, overpriced, door locks didn’t work properly, the list goes on.
3.8
The front desk was very helpful. Location was amazing easy access to everything.
3.8
Bare bones. Windows were a bit precarious. Was clean.
3.8
Let’s start off with the best the staff was great to deal with and you can’t beat the location, the hotel is in need of major renovations which they have advised is on going which are room was in major need of. The only issue I could see is at night it is very loud on the street with the homeless that hang out on street across from the hotel
3.8
Location was perfect. Close to Fisherman’s Wharf.

Location is only good part of this hotel
