Room is just ok, dresser drawers won’t stay closed, one phone is so dirty won’t touch it, old a/c wall unit has water noise…. POOL & Hot tub OUT OF ORDER, we brought suits, never told us pool was out, would not have stayed here ……. Hotel Staff was Awesome

It needs a major overhaul. Furniture with deep scratches and tried to recover sofa with extremely poor quality in material and workmanship. breakfast cold but fair. People friendly and helpful. I do not like giving a bad review, but property need refresh and care.

It was quiet and clean.

My daughter (Nurse Practitioner) and son in law (Fire fighter/EMT) came to NC to see their twin siblings graduate High School and stayed close to us and their stay was OK but concerned and did not like the fact that there were roaches in their room and also that the same person *unknown if employee or not was outside smoking each and every time they went outside or came back to the hotel. Smoking is that person's business but not when they (visitors) are inhaling it as they walk in and walk out at the hotels as set designated smoke area is at the front door.

The stay was very comfortable. Though, the sham had some kind of stain on it and the drawer on one of the night stands was broken and wouldnt stay closed. The ottoman for the pullout couch had visible wear and tear on it. The bathroom fan either was non existent or broken. The tv was off center to the foot of the bed. But otherwise the room served its purpose. The pillows are tiny squares as opposed to actual full sized bed pillows.

Hotel is very dated , could use remodeling and updating still in 80s look/decor.. NEVER saw online that pool was not avail or out of service or would have chose another location. Computer system was down day of check in could not check anyone in, everyone had to wait or comeback later. 1 elevator for entire hotel , furniture throughout old dated. Family members staying in other rooms saw Roaches, i did not. Fridge did not keep anything cool in room.. pullout sofa looked dirty, nasty . Bathroom was clean and room itself was clean other than the nasty , dirty phone in room. Housekeeping was notified of dirty phone and she acted as if it was normal, ok.I sprayed lysol throughout room contantly and freshner . 1 night was all i stayed and wont again

Hotel is clean enough. Just has plenty of wear. Great for the night. Very conveniently off the interstate and to Gas stations. Staff is friendly

Overall, just kinda run down.

Breakfast could be better.

The staff was very nice I would recommended and definitely go there again

Roaches in my room

I booked this hotel specifically for the pool for my kids but it is under repair. That should have been addressed ahead of time.

I don't know what good buying trip insurance is when it's not honored when you need it. I needed to change my reservation cuz my family changed plans on me. Anyway hotel wasn't flexible. Not a bad place. Absolutely bad location. Nothing attractive nearby. Room was ok. Breakfast was on the low end of acceptable. Bland. Cold eggs and cold sausage gravy with not much sausage, and even colder biscuits. Basically no one bothering about details.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before today. My room was old shabby looking. The furniture needs to be change and I did not like that. I wasted my points on a room that I could have kept for some other time.

Roaches in the room .. Charged for towels that were washed with . Housekeeping is rude . Front desk is rude and nosey .

Stay was very good. The bed and room were great. Staff very friendly. The outside of the hotel needs a facelift. The outside doors will not open with the keys, looks like keypads are broken. Breakfast was very nicely set up. Overall a very nice hotel.

Accomodating staff. Good place to stay. Recommend it.

Pricey. Clean and comfortable no frills. Needs some updating and general maintenance.

Everything was good but the pet policy is extremely limiting - about to the point that they are better to mark themselves as not pet friendly. Keeping pets in crate/kennel and supervised at all times is unnecessary

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Only thing we didn’t like was the sofa bed. It has no mattress and you feel the bar laying on it.

The pool is closed indefinitely. They actually told us the former poolman had died in March and they had not replaced him. Booked hotel primarily for the pool as I was traveling with kids. Had to go through the lobby to enter room which was great, but they do not air condition the hallways which were hot and humid since it was over 90 degrees outside. Included breakfast is very limited, the scrambled eggs were gross and the apple juice tasted watered down. We needed linens for the pull out sofa, and we had to go down to the lobby to get them, they did not bring them to us. The hotel map shows vending on all floors but it is only on the first floor. The ice machines have a sign saying you can only get enough ice to fill the ice bucket in the room or they will charge you $20. Coffee is not in the lobby 24 hours as advertised. The bushes around the hotel are trimmed so badly, they have no leaves only brown sticks, and they need to clean the cigarette butts out of the area.

Checked in without issue. Slept in a nice bed. Checked out without issue next morning.

It was really hot and the air conditioner did not work well. One of the staff members stole my phone.

Fitness room and pool were closed. The sign said closed for Covid. I wish I had known; I enjoy these amenities.

The stay wasn’t bad but the way they charged me was ridiculous. They would charge us before our stay was over and then credit us and then charge us again it was really confusing and we were unhappy with the way they handled our situation and we probably won’t be staying there again. Because of the way they handled our money.

The place was clean, but shabby. The beds in the room were quite comfortable, but the fold-out bed in the suite was in bad shape. The gym was small and unimpressive. The breakfast lacked any sort of meat (bacon, sausage, etc.). However, it did have a waffle maker.

Checked in, notifying clerk that I suffered from sleep aphonia and required a quiet room. I was placed on the interstate side of the motel. Had requested a handicap room when making reservations but it was not made available to me. Informed clerk that both my wife and I have extreme problems getting up from low toilets and was informed that toilets' were the High type. Not so much. Had two problems with toilets, 1. hanging chad seemed to reach the water causing me to have to lean over to keep dry. I am severely arthritic and getting up from an extreme sitting or kneeling position is not only painful, but requires assistance.

We enjoyed our stay. Will stay again.
