Worst stay ever, staff not very welcoming. Breakfast very very limited and over priced. Definitely not a 4 star rating. Would give it 1 star at most. Never staying there again. Bed and pillow not comfortable or clean.

A business trip with two colleagues led us here. I had high hopes from the reviews but upon arrival to my room, I was very disappointed. All three of us had the same issue of a musty odor perfumed with a room freshener. We all noticed a good amount of mold in and around the showers. In my case, the soap dispenser had been removed from the wall leaving a metal bracket but no soap. Maybe the funniest issue was that the door to the toilet scraped against the toilet seat. Meaning, if you open the door, it will run into your legs unless you squeeze into the corner. Bizarre.
All of this would be perhaps expected from a modest one-star property, but given this is a 4-star resort, it was shocking and incredibly disappointing.

I spent 2 nights at this hotel which is located in the immediate surroundings of Nantes. I was in Nantes for business. I chose this hotel because all other hotels downtown Nantes were sold out. I must admit that was a good choice. The hotel is located in a countryside nice neighborhood. Extremely quite, this hotel is also a spa and you are free to use the pool at night. The restaurant is divine. As it is a bit far away from restaurants, I ate there the 2 nights I was there. My overall impression is good. If you stay there to be in Nantes, you ll need a car or to take a taxi and traffic is awful at night and in the morning

We stayed here on our journey back from the Tarn, it was very convenient for the motorway. Reception staff very charming and helpful. Restaurant excellent as was breakfast.The room was clean and comfortable with a balcony.The lighting on the staircase could have been better as my husband doesn’t use lifts.Over all a pleasant hotel but a little bit tired.

Good value, staff were friendly and efficient. Good amenities, however the pool was unavailable due to all the classes going on.

woods and birds are all around you , very quite in the night and to hear birds singing in the morning

Driving into the hotel grounds after a long trip was a real boost. It’s in a lovely area, very quiet and red squirrels scamper about in the trees.
The hotel reception area didn’t disappoint either, lovely staff and lovely decor.
You get shown all the facilities and taken to your room here.
Room was lovely, had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
The spa area is a real treat, very well equipped and pretty quiet.
Excellent nights sleep.
I would absolutely make a return visit.

A great stop on way down from Cherbourg. Nice setting with ample parking and short work to commercial centre. Good signage helpneven though we had Sat Have. Only minor moan is that the shower tray should/could have been cleaner, shower itself was fantastic as was the spacious room

The hotel is not very easy to find, and the staff I found were not very welcoming. I expected more from a 4 star category. The room was clean.

Broken carpets, battered walls, no amenitties, bath and hand soap locked in a dispenser, no air conditioning, no lights in parking at night and nobody at reception after 10pm, it was scary, we really had a bad experience and not a good time during our stay, this is not a 4*hotel, we would consider if by chance a 2*

I was in Nantes on business and wanted to avoid the impersonal hotel chains. Quintessia turned out to be a perfect option, especially since the access to the Fair grounds where I needed to go was easily accessible.

It was just one night on my way to the airport following a week in Brittany. It was great to be able to relax in the spa and the food was excellent, if a little expensive.

Everything was fine but the restaurant's service: it took more than 2 hours and a half from ordering the meals to finishing the desert.
The hotel has a lovely park and garden we loved to stroll in.

Food excellant, staff friendly, atmosphere good, be happy to recommend this hotel but be careful not to get the trainee receptionist ALL other staff fantastic especially restaurant .
