My husband, my son and I stayed here for two nights, while visiting family in the New Paltz area for Thanksgiving. The bathroom was clean and had the amenities we needed. The room smelled a little musty when we first entered, but it seemed to be clean. The bed was okay, and there was a large TV with a screen that swiveled. It was nice to have two desks, a refrigerator with a large enough freezer to refreeze our ice packs for the trip home, and a very large closet. The complimentary breakfast was nothing fancy, but very adequate - and still complimentary - at a time when many hotels are now charging for breakfast. I would stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Clean, convenient, comfortable and amazing staff. Downside, windows are very thin and you can hear the traffic noise but that is what you get for the convenient location. Great restaurants minutes away.

A friend and I stayed here for about 7 total hours as a stop-over on a long drive. It was exactly what it said it was, and you couldn't beat the price. Convenient to the interstate, but not sure what else is in the area, as we didn't explore. I'd stay here again if I was looking for a budget option.

We stay at this hotel a few times a year. It is our go-to when visiting family. The staff are very polite and helpful. Always attentive to your needs. They are very friendly.

The is my second time staying here and it was good. Convenient location to the local shops, great view of the foliage during the fall.
The only thing I would complain about is they need more gluten free options for the breakfast. Maybe some eggs, sausage, bacon. And maybe some dairy free options like almond milk or oat milk.

The double-bed room I stayed was clean but the WiFi was slow. Two people stayed in the room but only one device was able to signed in the WiFi. There was not many choices for the breakfast.

Their automated coffee everything machine really impressed me, with many options for Latte, Cappuccino, Mocha, and more! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite close to a major highway but the noise was moderate. The rate was very reasonable as well. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a gem! It may not have the name brand that people look for, but certainly has the 5 star amenities! Comfortable bed, great sheets and pillows. A small fridge with a freezer. Blackout curtains. Cold a/c. Many outlets and usb outlets. Direct tv. Good water pressure and lasting hot water. Great bath towels and bath mat. A magnifying mirror that thrilled my wife! We travel a lot, and this is one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed in!! No build up along the baseboards and no mold in the tub. The entire hotel is pristine! Kudos to the cleaning staff! We will definitely stay here when we come back!
Oh…the breakfast buffet is continental style, but good quality. And they have one of those fancy coffee dispensers that make cappucino and lattes

This is a simple hotel with a good breakfast. Has a fabulous coffee machine!!
It is clean. The staff is lovely. The rooms are clean. The rooms have a large fridge. Microwave and coffee maker are in the rooms.
You can hear the traffic somewhat but for the price? Who cares?
So nice I have stayed here more than once and recommend it to others.

This hotel was well located with ample parking. The included breakfast was rudumentary but got us going and was a nice touch. The price was a great value. Would return again.

It was fine. Lugging our bags up the flight to our 2nd floor room was inconvenient. Next time I'll check to see if there is an elevator, will ask for 1st floor room if not.

Conveniently located along the Empire State Trailway, well maintained facility, with the nicest and friendliest staffers you’ll ever find. The hotel chain has instituted a silly surcharge for early check-in which they should do away with.

Reasonably priced. Only stayed one night (family wedding). This was a small hotel, no elevator. Room was clean and king size bed was comfortable. Noise level was low.

Our second stay here was just as wonderful as our first time 2 years ago! Close to the NYS Thruway and the cute town of New Paltz. Quick and easy check in and super quiet. Highly recommend staying here.

In the past we have stayed at the other hotel next door, getting one room for me, husband and two teens. This time I wanted at get two rooms so that we could have our space since we were staying 3 nights while visiting our daughter at the college. The other hotel was so pricey, I wasn’t going to afford two rooms. I looked into this hotel and read all the positive reviews. The price for two rooms was half of what the other wanted for 1. So we decided to try it out. And we were pleasantly pleased. Clean. Friendly staff. Basic continental breakfast that’s open from 6-10 which was great. And the location is so convenient. We will definitely be using them again in the future! Thank you!!

The charge of $30 for early checkin was a surprise. Standard 4:00pm checking is too late. The hotel supports a wedding venue in the same parking lot and I needed to attend a 4:00pm wedding. I needed 10 additional minutes to get dressed prior to the wedding but I was required to buy 2 additional hours for “early check-in”…

Americas Best Value Inn in New Paltz is not the Hampton Inn, but it was right next to one! It was clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful. I didn’t need all the amenities such as a pool, etc. I felt safe, it was clean and I had everything I needed, including a hairdryer. It was full when I was there and it was quiet, but I wouldn’t guarantee that it would always be that way. The walls were quite thin.

We stay here as a stopping point from South Jersey to the Adirondacks. It is convenient to get on and off the thruway from here and New Paltz has many dining areas to catch a bite after the drive.
