Nice hotel, good value when I got it, walking distance to the town centre, clean well appointed room with everything that you need, slept like a log, good breakfast. limited parking, but on street parking right outside is free until 8.30 am.

Wonderful place from which to explore Yeats country! Comfort and kindness we’re enjoyed; we extended our stay from 2 to 4 nights! Be sure to get a balcony view over the river! We’ll be returning!

Last minute booking and got a very good bed and breakfast rate for this hotel. Met with a very pleasant receptionist who explained all the hotel dining options and the parking arrangements. Parking and the lack of it at the hotel would be the only real negative of the hotel. Had to park about 500 meters from the hotel.
Room was a double bed facing the small hotel car park. Room was large and plenty of space to move around. All the usual room facilities- kettle, coffee and tea, large smart TV, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Bed was very comfortable and there was also room temperature controls. The bathroom was a large size with a walk-in shower (no bath). Plenty of towels and very clean, as was the room.
Used the bar / restaurant for a few drinks in the evening. Whilst I had breakfast included, I didn’t have it. Breakfast runs to 10am on weekdays and 10:30am on Weekends. Would definitely come back to this hotel as it well priced, comfortable and well located in Sligo city. Just the lack of on-site parking was the only drawback.

Property is located on the river and only a short walk to the city center. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff was very helpful. They have very limited parking on site but directed us to some off site parking that was close by. Arthur at the front desk was extremely helpful and was always able to answer all our questions with a smile

Very nice stay in a clean hotel close to the river. I had the most beautiful river vieuw. The hotel is in the town center, about 15 minutes walk from the busstop and about 10 minutes from the shopping center. Hotel is clean, roomservice passes by every day, extremely friendly staf

Parking is the biggest downfall. There are maybe 6-8 spots in their lot, get one if you are lucky. Otherwise you have to walk down the street and pay. We liked the location as it was easy to get to dining and shopping. Room was pretty clean- bathroom shower could use some TLC

Very nice hotel right beside the river with well proportioned bedrooms and bathrooms. Ate at the restaurant which was very good. Also, tried several restaurants in town which were recommended by the front desk staff. All were excellent...Miss Suzy's, Hooked, etc. Easily able to walk to the town center as well as North on the river to enjoy a park nature walk along the river. Where this place truly shines is with their staff. They are very friendly and add the comfort and homeliness to the stay.

Hotel was great!! However the parking is very very minimal (think less than 10 spots) however parking a block away was reasonable cost…no complaints though. Great spot

The location was a few blocks from ideal, but we were happy with it as our room I had a beautiful view of the river. Any number of issues arose relating to our stay. First, I don’t think anyone is happy with instant coffee. Having a pod machine is easy and fool proof. There were no tissues. The towel warmer we’re not engaged. No conditioner provided. Marks on the carpet.

Riverside is central in Sligo and a great spot if you’re looking to walk around the town or even use it as a home base for exploring around the area.
Parking is available at a nearby lot about 1 block away or on the street around the hotel.
We ended up having to book a last minute additional room because of flight issues, and they made it so convenient and easy to check in! It was a wonderful start to our Ireland honeymoon.
There is a restaurant and a cafe on the main floor that provides a convenient dining experience.
The staff was so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend.

It was a lovely stay in a very interesting location. Erin at the front desk was MOST helpful in guiding us to an excellent restaurant for dinner and directing us to items of interest to us. Would go back to Sligo and THIS hotel in a heartbeat!!

He stayed here for three nights while we were in Ireland. The first two nights were in a room with full river view. The room was a bit dated and had some wear in it (carpet stained, paint chipped and worn). We came back for one more night since we were in the area and we got a room facing the back river and that room was 100 times better.
The restaurant at the food was okay. The service of the employees were great at the restaurant and getting us blankets. Parking was a 4-minute walk away but for 2 euro a night, I'm not complaining. Close access to all of Sligo and overall we enjoyed the stay.
Make sure you do the breakfast.... Well worth it!
