Great place to stay. My only issue is that the resort fee did not cover anything of value. It covered only 2 drinks ( for 7 night stay) and access to tennis courts, pool, and gym ( none of which we used). Would be better to cover self parking, continental breakfast, or baggage tips.

Had a great time at this hotel. Everything was clean and well maintained. Bedding was fresh. The food at the in resort restaurants and cafe are great eats. The pools were very clean. IMO, they need some spots with shade. Overall i recommend it for couples.

I went to drop my bags off for safe keeping before heading out for a hike at 11am. The bellman forgot me at the counter for 15m. Then apologized and to make up for it, told me my bags would be in my hotel room when I returned. I came at 5pm and my bags were sat out in the driveway unattended for 6 hours with the claim tags attached. They were never secured and they had all my valuables and travel documents in them. I’m lucky they weren’t stolen.
When I spoke to the manager he said ‘sometimes when it’s busy we leave them outside for an hour but 6 hours is too long’. When a customer trusts you with their luggage no hours unattended is the right answer. Beautiful property otherwise!

The staff was absolutely amazing, so friendly! every restaurant and room was super clean, I’ll definitely stay here again!! And the food was outstanding!

I'd go back again. Wish it was a little closer to San Juan. Shuttle ran about $85 to and from airport. And $80 to San Juan. Uber was cheaper getting back to hotel. But great property. Loved it.

Let’s start off by saying the property is breathtaking. The aesthetic itself is a whole other level. Instagram pictures in every corner . Everyone is friendly. The only thing I would say is the lack of communication in the check in process. No guide was given to us of the huge resort. No information about parking. No information about the restaurants, bars , pool hours etc.. you get my drift right. I’m a great communicator so I obviously found out all of the lacking information but for the money my husband payed all of this should had been relayed. Besides that lol .. our stay was great. We had a rental so the it was no problem how secluded it was all worth it.

Great experience however be aware of the parking fee, at least $17 per day and the resort fee of $40 per day. Hotel is definitely more beautiful than the pictures show. Staff was great.

My only recommendation is to Please ensure that the rooms are regularly inspected to verify that all fixtures are functioning properly. A leaking shower was found to be caused by worn-out sealing, and upon relocation to another room, a loose faucet resulted in water leakage when turned on.

It was truly a 5 star resort. It is a bit far from the tourist areas and renting a car may be the best option if staying here.

I was assigned to a room that had a terrible smell, I reported the smell to the front desk, they sent maintenance over to me and they turned on the air conditioner and left, then I was told they were coming back and no one did. My room should have been compensated and only the resort fee was removed. The next evening my room was changed. The smell in this room was horrible and the garden view were twigs.

The property was very nice, clean, and the staff was very friendly. Some of the room service staff didn’t speak english very well but reception staff was able to translate so it wasn’t an issue. Only thing we didn’t like was the restaurant options. Most restaurants were closed due to the slow season so the was not many options and they were overpriced and the food was not worth the price. Breakfast buffet was $29 a person. They also include a 16% gratuity in your check. Other than the food, we really enjoyed our stay. We did rent a car and were able to find some great food options near the resort. The view of the El Yungue rainforest from the pool was priceless.

In my years of travel as well as extensive business travel, I have never encountered a hotel where I was not allowed to invite a guest to visit me for a drink and dinner at the hotel. The staff refused to allow my guest, a Dr, to enter unless he paid for a day pass even though it was 7pm and I made it clear I had dinner reservations for us on the property. Want to be a prisoner and spoken to like a peasant? This is the place to stay! Atrocious!!!!!

I was bummed to see that there were no waves crashing on the beach. I felt like I was at a lake because the tide crashed out along the barrier area a few hundred feet out from the beach edge. The mosquitoes were awful! 3 months later and I have scars from all the bites. Only upbeat staff member I met was the bartender at the Asian restaurant. I would have expected a more upbeat staff. The music at night was fantastic!

I only have good words for this property. This is my fourth time and I’m already booking my next stay. This hotel is my home. Staff is Extremely nice and down to earth. Big shout out to Israel, who made my experience beyond words.
