I am done with Motel 6, last 4 places have all reeked of despair

Needs some attention.

Everyone was polite when we arrived. Once we got to the room we discovered it was disgusting there were holes in the wall spit wads on the ceiling and on the door it didn't look like it had been cleaned by room service the room we had was an accessible room as I'm not able to go up and down stairs the shower area was flooded and if you turn the water on it just made it worse and there was a God awful smell. When I notified the front desk that we wanted to change rooms they informed me that that would be impossible unless I was willing to pay a room changing fee no joke when I told them that I wasn't paying any fee to move rooms because they're incompetence in cleaning the room properly and making sure that it was ready they informed me that I was welcome to get extra towels to deal with the water. I was livid we decided we were going to go ahead and just stay the night in the room as best as possible since we didn't get in from our flight until after 1:00 in the morning so we were exhausted but we packed our things and left the next day we were supposed to be there for 3 days when I demanded my money back for the days that we didn't stay they refused and then charged my card an additional $75 when I called them after seeing that on my credit card I have been hung up on repeatedly it seems they refuse to take my phone calls so now I'm trying to get with my credit card company and dispute the amount I am beyond pissed off and have a right mind to take legal action against them

No Coffee or microwave in the room. Floor was slimey. Shelves falling apart. Didn't get my $75 deposit back. Weirdos running a muck all night. A lot of moisture in the room. My key stopped working and i had to go to the office to reactivate it. Got a parking violation notice. Did not clean or make my bed or replace dirty towels once in my 3 day stay. Lady at the counter was nice

The bed was just awful. Its all lumpy and has a hole in one side. The shower felt like i was getting into a spaceship it was just an inconvenience

Door knob to bathroom fell off in hand, told them about it. Could been cleaner, especially bathroom.

The room was dirty, the bed was uncomfortable, it was noisy outside, and the air conditioning was not working.

Area was a bit sketchy and seemed unsafe neighborhood and very close to the Hwy and had to sleep with ear plugs. No fridge or coffee maker in the room. Staff was friendly.

Management and staff are always professional.

Every time I go to Motel 6 in Troutdale management and staff go above and beyond to make sure my stay is comfortable

It's classic motel accessibility allows for easy access to rooms with balcony style walkways.

You need to bring ear plugs, when staying here. Especially your room is on the Highway 84 side of the building.

Amazingly quiet spot in a busy area. Great breakfast selections. Professional friendly staff.

The tv didn’t work, there was some hair and a piece of paper in the shower. The room never got warm and we had the heater on warm. Other then that it was a decent place to lay your head down and sleep and get going to the next job!

Bed was soaked with pee when we entered the room even though a cleaning slip was signed for the date of check in.

Too noisy, then there was train noise.

It was good except, I had to hold 75 on my card. We left the room.exactly how we found except the messed up sheets no stains and they tried to take 75 out my account

I was woken up to someone screaming because they had just tried going after someone and rhe police outside my room. I couldn't get back to sleep and had an early flight to catch

Property was equivalent to cost. Black rock cofee & taco bell makes mama & daughter happy enough for shopping spree. Security on site 24/7. Lighted parking lot. Close to outlets malls.

Loved the front service person (I'm sorry that I am not recalling your name, but I remeber how welcoming and kind you were), clean, security guard, and price was great. Perfect stay for my purpose which was to attend a concert at the Edgefield.

The mattress was old and broken and so uncomfortable. When we arrived back to hotel after concert, 4 sheriffs were in parking lot speaking to hotel guests about an incident. The room was non-smoking but wreaked of cigarettes and was ice cold. Even turning down fan speed kept it chilly with no option to warm up room. Disappointing for a “deluxe room”

No coffee pot, smelled like cigarettes and you could hear a train running through close by every several hours (3 times) during the night. Didn’t have a good night sleep.

Really expensive for a motel that hasn't been upgraded in over 30 years.

Very small room and small tv. The bathrooms are nice.

Biggest issue that I had was the large dog in the room next door. I was also disappointed with the lack of toiletries in the room. No shampoo, no conditioner, thermostat didn't work. Lastly, the deposit situation. I came with cash, but was required to figure out a way to put it on the same debit card used to book. My credit union, located in Spokane, is 400 miles away. No locations in Portland. That should be more flexible especially for out of town accommodations.
