Biggest issue that I had was the large dog in the room next door. I was also disappointed with the lack of toiletries in the room. No shampoo, no conditioner, thermostat didn't work. Lastly, the deposit situation. I came with cash, but was required to figure out a way to put it on the same debit card used to book. My credit union, located in Spokane, is 400 miles away. No locations in Portland. That should be more flexible especially for out of town accommodations.

We used the pool.

I tried to check into my room at 415 and was told they would need 45 min to clean a room even with my reservation. I should be issued a partial refund especially given it interfered with my plans locally. Check out late usually incurrs a cost, isnt my time worth the same during check in,?

It was awful. The hotel wasn’t clean, beds and pillows were awful, smelled. The area is not safe and people were in the parking lot all night smoking weed, drinking and being loud.

Very thin walls, loud creaky mattress, banging noises, bare minimum of everything.

Jaqueen had great customer service.

Price was right and check in staff member excellent!

Just not a good experience at this hotel. The place is pretty run down. A few of the people staying there were roaming about smoking joints. People yelling. Doors slamming. The room was dirty. No irons anywhere on property; the list goes on. I will say that the front office staff was polite and were trying to be helpful. Property owners need to put some money into cleaning the place up. Kind of a dump, to be honest.

It was a nice place, little remote location right off the road.

No fridge & microwave in the room. The first room had smoking smell left so we asked to change the room. Staff was very nice to give us another room without the smoking smell left. Long line up to check in.

Staff is what makes this place great

Not a luxury or business-class hotel. Pretty no-frills. But for this price, this is as clean, quiet, and comfortable a place as you'll find. And yes, it WAS clean, quiet, and comfortable. Good A/C and comfy bed. Not spacious like some other Motel 6 rooms, but adequate for sleeping, showering, dressing....

Overall is ok for the price. clean and staff are nice. Just missing the coffee maker and hair dryer which is quite necesary

Great Staff!!!!!! The AC works crazy sometimes it gets cold and other times its just warm air. Love it here minus the trains OMG if u get a back room it will jult u awake after time u get used to it but wow. The Good staff make it a great place

I didn’t like the sheets had stains on them and the mattress was uncomfortable because it was so worn out where everyone sleeps. The room also smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.

The staff here are great however the cleanliness of the rooms need Improvement. I stayed for about 3 weeks and ended up getting sick while at the hotel and I didn't go anywhere during those 3 weeks. I found myself cleaning the hotel myself which you will find yourself doing also most of the time.

Hotel and room was nothing like the pictures, nothing! Hookers, Drug dealers. The room had a twin bed not a queen. It smelled like cigarettes. Me and wife could not stay here.

Normally we don't have a problem staying at this hotel but when we booked an extended stay for 10 days and found out we were not going to be able to stay the full 10 days we paid for we contacted the front desk and the front desk said we had to contact Expedia Expedia went for bad and arranged a refund for when we checked out early that the hotel would pay for the days that we had already paid for but now the hotel said it's not their job to collect it from Expedia and they refuse to pay us for our money that we did spend but didn't stay when we left on our last day on the 25th we spoke to Caitlin the front desk and she assured me that she was going to reimburse the remaining of my stay when we showed up this time around and we still haven't received our refund we were told by Caitlin that they are not going to refund our money that we have to go through Expedia because they have our money I would suggest getting stuff and writing because they're word does not count

AC unit was very loud and despite running the whole time didn’t work great. Sink sprayed water all over when using it. The pool outside our room looked more like a pound than a pool. Walls are not very sound proof and unfortunately we had some very noisy neighbors. It was just my son and I on the trip and my comfort level with safety was not high.

I've stayed here multiple times on an on going construction project. Recently went to check in and was told I could not park my service truck on site. It was no problem the numerous other times we stayed, but this particular guy said it was. I'm not parking a service truck off site loaded with tools, especially this close to portland. There were approximately 60-70 open spots, so me taking 2 would not have caused an issue. I had to cancel to booking and find another hotel after traveling 12 hours from Montana. Zero desire to work with guests or provide any level of customer service at all, now I have to fight to get a refund.

Pool closed. And everything was not what it looked like in the pics. Just unhappy.

I went with this low budget option because I just needed a place to crash for the night. I guess I didn’t realize that Motel 6 establishments cater to pretty sketchy guests? Everyone at the place seemed pretty undesirable. When I arrived at the hotel, I couldn’t get into the parking lot for over an hour because there were four squad cars blocking the entrance. They were busting one of the guests for stealing a van. The room was adequate, but this was definitely a “you get what you pay for” situation.

The room's heat/cooling only blew out cold air. It was 47° that night and we had to huddle together under one thing blanket trying to stay warm. We woke up with it warmer outside than inside the room. Did not serve breakfast. Small shower, no tub. No microwave or fridge in room. The toilet flush was so powerful it made you jump when you flushed... Though that wasn't a big deal Overall, I was disappointed for the money to value for a budget motel

This place charges about $10-15 less than the regular hotel but it’s way far less decent. I would rather pay an extra $15 to stay at hotel where it’s nicer, a lot cleaner, and it has room service. This place is not worth the price.

Ultimately the stay worked out okay, but when I arrived the desk person told me there were only two rooms left and they both had issues. The lesser of the issues was heating/cooling that wasn’t working. I took that room as the weather was cooler. All I got was a shrug of the shoulders…no offer to reduce the rate, give me some free water, nothing. I know it’s a Motel 6, but give me a break! Also, I couldn’t step out of the room without getting blasted with the smell of weed. That’s becoming much too common. Motel 6 needs to stop posting generic pictures instead of actual pics of the motel. It’s false advertising.

Very nice service people. Property is in disrepair, needs significant upgrade. One bed's mattress was damaged.
