Great hotel in a very convenient location in Bruge . Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. Lovely breakfast. Would recommend and is good value for money .

It was a lovely stay! The breakfast exceeded my expectations with so many options. The room was a good size with a large bathroom with a good shower. The safe was very useful. The location made it easy to walk anywhere in the city and felt very safe. It was very quiet as well.

The hotel it self is really beautiful, they have put a lot of effort into it. The room was just like a premier inn. The bed was superb, extremely comfortable. The shower space was small, kinda had to stand in the open (away from the wall) to fit which made the floor get very wet.
Breakfast was very nice, however there are a lot… and I mean a lot, of fruit flies flying and landing on all the uncovered food.
Parking is EXTREMELY TIGHT. I drove an MG HS 2023 in there, and got it to the back of the parking garage. It was a very tight fit with a few 10-15 point turns just to get around the pillars which divide all the parking spaces.

Right in the city center with a lot of restaurants in walking distance. Room was suprisingly spacious. Breakfast with a lot of options.
Parking garage is small and the parking spaces also very small. Hardly enough space if you drive one of the newer larger electric vehicles. Note that you will to reserve and pay for it.

Great hotel, really nicely renovated! Staff and breakfast, bar service were excellent. Really convenient location as well. Highly recommend and we would stay here again!

Very convenient location. Pleasant, comfortable rooms, large internal courtyard area a good breakfast make this an excellent choice.
Executive rooms all face the street so a little bit of noise is unavoidable. If this bothers you, book the classic rooms.

Lovely hotel perfectly situated in the heart of Bruges. Lovely reception, lounge and bar area. Plentiful options at breakfast with lots of fresh options.
Room was comfortable and we slept well. I have dropped one star as the towels were the thinnest I’ve ever experienced they were also an off white/grey colour. There was also a dirty tissue under the bedside table by the bed that was there on arrival and was missed on both cleans. My daughters room also smelt of cigarette smoke espresso in the bathroom.

We have stayed at the 'Academie' several times. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast range is comprehensive and caters for all tastes.
There is a nice bar area with seating also available in the court yard / garden.
It would be great if the Hotel could open the dining room to serve lunch / evening meals.
All in all a great Hotel and we wouldn't hesitate to use the Dukes Academie again.

Excellent stay. Did find a bed bug but apart from that was everything was great. Very swish bar. And the breakfast is amazing.

I am an older solo female and stayed in 3110 at the end of a hall with a small bed and not much room for anything else. There was a deep rumbling noise and vibration that I later learned was the generator room 2 floors below me. It ran 24/7. It didn't keep me awake but I didn't spend any time in the room other that to sleep and I was there 3 nights. Breakfast was very good and there is a laundromat a few blocks walking distance. 12 minute walk to the train station on all cobblestone streets. Great location for walking around the entire city.

Lovely hotel in a great location for walking all over Bruges. One short block off of a major shopping/restaurant street but extremely quiet. The breakfast was huge and served in a very large room with plenty of seating.

Some little details made my stay not so pleasant. I don’t know why the girl at reception didn’t lead me the way to the room while they do for every guest who just checked in; I was not informed the Wi-Fi code and had to call myself, I was signed a disabled room. At least I should be informed in advance if I did not mind, in fact I do mind. I checked in at 3pm not midnight while there is no more choice.

We thought that the location of the hotel meant that we were just a few minutes away from the centre of Bruges, we benefited from a quiet location. The welcome was great, the breakfasts superb and our lovely room had everything that we needed.
