Perfect location for visiting Chillon Castle. And the hotel itself is full of history, retaining its bel epoque charm. Loved it! Their special 4 course dinner is completely worth it.
One warning though... use the bus or taxi to get there. Otherwise you are hoofing it up a super steep hill to reach the hotel.

This hotel is a lovely property. The staff/owners are most accommodating and personable. They did an amazing job restoring the original details of this 175 year old hotel, yet they managed to add all the modern amenities and features. Would love to stay there again next time we are in the area.

Very nice historical hotel. The restaurant was great. They have an evening set menu each day, but can accommodate changes for dietary needs, which they did for us. Very professional service and great advice for things to do in the area.

Good breakfast, friendly staff. older generation might like to stay here as it bringing out some nostalgia but for younger folks it might be a disappointment. Needs modern bed mattress to have a good sleep, very disappointing because I hardly able to fall asleep.

The hotel was beautiful and the room and breakfast were great, the hike up to it was difficult for my elderly mother, which I had not anticipated.

Lovely hotel, with a lot of character. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were always on hand to help. Great views if the lake and mountains from terrace in the evenings.

A quaint, old property, a bit tired a tatty, noise travels through the thin walls. But the location is excellent, really enjoyed the lake views and walks, good free parking too.

In a quiet part of town with easy access to train if you want to go to the center of town. Beautiful views and many options to enjoy them from…loved the bar and dining on site. Staff very helpful from storing luggage and providing recommendations for sights to visit. Castle down the way (Chillon) provided an amazing tour.

Great location with wonderful directions and communication. We were on top floor with a beautiful view of Lake Geneva. Would stay again.....breakfast was incredible

This is a lovely old fashioned hotel, with beautiful views , the bar, lounge gardens and restaurant are delightful. It is a steep walk up the hill to get to it if using public transport however. The staff are universally helpful, kind and charming.

The heat didn’t work in our room but a space heater was provided. Staff were great & very helpful. Breakfast was great and we had ours on the balcony. The hotel is very historic and beautiful. If you’re using public transportation it is very close to hotel. There is a hill to climb, but we were stopping frequently to take beautiful pictures of the views, so it was doable. Would definitely return!

One of the historic hotels. Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Nice size room. Loved the garden where you could enjoy a glass of wine with a book or a conversation with a loved one. Walking distance to Montreaux but we were also given free tickets for public transportation. The only negative thing was the lack of elevator and our room was on the top 3rd floor.

The one thing that matters most to me is a comfortable bed and a good night’s sleep. The room was too hot to sleep. The beds were mediocre in that mine slanted sideways. A room in this heat should at least have a fan in the room. Will not take the chance again of staying somewhere without air conditioning.

Walking distance to Chillon castle (5 minutes). Very nice walking to Montreux centre. Bus to the train station very often (10 minutes ride).

It is a lovely hotel in a great setting on the outskirts of Montreux. The only niggle is that maybe the bathrooms could do with some upgrading. There was a good selection of options for breakfast and we were able to eat it on the balcony.
