Location is convenient being 5-10 mins drive to restaurants and beaches. Staff friendly and helpful. Only downside is the limited food availability in the evening with no real restaurant but plenty around as mentioned.

Friendly staff and lots of parking. Top room was under the roof/eaves (and unless you are very very short) it is very easy to knock your head on the ceiling ...same in the shower, makes it difficult to shower. Room not very big and looks out on the big road, very noisy. 24hour reception meant no fear of being unable to check in if the ferry was arriving late. Overall, disappointing due to the room. Great breakfast and friendly staff .

1. Family room didnt have a window so was dark, dingy and hot. 2 Room hadn't been cleaned properly (bin was left full of used nappies) 3. Restaurant didn't serve evening meals and when we asked they said that we couldn't bring our own food onto the terrace to eat - we were told we would have to eat in our windowless family room that didnt have any table to eat at. 4. No restaurants within easy walking distance so the fact that the hotel restaurant doesnt serve evening meals is pretty rubbish. No idea why other people have left ok ratings - they must have low standards. Save yourself the disappointment and stay at another budget hotel.

It was great. Quiet, despite proximity to road. Rooms small but clean. Feel slightly claustrophobic but ok. Breakfast and view at breakfast is lovely Good to have black out blinds.

the staff were absolutely the best. Friendly. Helpful. Right near the highway so not walkable, but a nice view of the sea, especially during breakfast!

This is a pleasant hotel. It could do with a bit of modernisation but all in all a pleasant place to stay.

The hotel is in good condition and the staff is very friendly and helpful if need be. The room itself was clean and the bed comfortable. The only downside is that the bathroom is a bit on the small side - other than that it was a very pleasant stay!

It is extremely convenient to the ferry. The lady on reception was fantastic (I didn't get her name, dark hair, slim, not a local). She was very enthusiastic, gave great wine advice and some guidance re local eating places. My partner left her handbag in the sitting area at about 11:30 PM but next day it was safely at reception, thank you all. We were sad to find that the once excellent kitchen and superb sea food evening meal had gone ... frankly the memory of it some 2 years ago was a major factor in our booking here again. Breakfast was good but the evening offerings to microwave did look just a little better than having to order a takeaway. For tourists like us its a shame, you have a nice dining area and bar, great views across the sea ... this could possibly even be a destination for locals with such very good facilities. In time I do hope you consider bringing back your excellent kitchen. The staff we met on our stay are a credit to you and the lady on reception ... well if she was in England we'd have wanted to employ her!

I arrived early for check in, girl on reception was very pleasant and she managed to let me check in early and my room was ready. I really appreciated that. Position overlooking the estuary is lovely, so a glass of wine on the veranda was perfect. A clean and quiet room with a landline phone was also very restful.

Welcomed by very accommodating & friendly receptionist. Room good for overnight stay before catching ferry. Only downside was no opening window other than one in bathroom. Fan provided but no air conditioning. Accessible with direct access to car park.

We stayed at the hotel while we were visiting the Route de Rock festival. It was very comfortable and convenient, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. We loved the crepes and home made jam.

The view of the Rance was beautiful - a stunning view at either end of the day.

Great location for St Malo port, 15 minutes to port (road improvements currently mean a diversion is in place which adds 10 minutes, but this is well signposted - allow extra time for this if you have an early sailing). Family room with direct access from car park - we could park right outside our room which was handy. Room was very basic (no tea coffee, but this was free and available in the dining room). The room was very clean, good shower and a hairdryer, shampoo, soap provided. Would stay again.

Near to St. malo ferry terminal. Next to the main road into St Malo. Clean. Tea or coffee maker not in room but in bar area.

Nice hotel, great staff. Only issue is the road to get to the hotel is under sonsyrutiom so a little bit harder to get to it but the hotel it self is excellent
