Bar staff excellent service hotel dated small bathroom towels bed mattress needs replaced as very uncomfortable had to sleep on top of thin duvet two flat pillows for double bed

When we booked hotel it said free carparking on website booked through hotels.com when we got to the hotel receptionist informed just changed it that week and we had to pay parking fee £5.20, no manager available. (have a copy of parking fee receipt if you require it This is a con. Please arrange a refund if it said free at time of booking it is fraudulent to then charge

Check in was great with no issues, parking was good but that’s the only good thing about the hotel. The hotel was decorated like a prison, rooms were grotty, beds were old or cheap and bumpy. The only good thing about it was it was a bed for the night breaking up a long journey & I used one of my reward nights so it was almost free

If you are looking for warmth and comfort this is not the place. It felt like a prison and made me quite uneasy. I felt so uncomfortable that I decided I wanted to leave after an hour of being there.

Cost effective stay and staff very helpful

Terrible room no AC very hot I only stayed for 2 hours and checked out due to the heat ( no AC no fan )

It has the basics I needed in the room, breakfast is good too with continental and cooked options available.

Poor Quality Hotel, mattress are old and could feel the springs as it was that bad. Pillows are flat and thin, tv doesn’t work, carpet stain. Get more like a knocked up shop than a room to stay

This hotel is ok, that's about all you can say. It's tired and needs decorating and modernising, the beds and pillows are very hard, they told us the restaurant was shut and we found it was open when we turned up. But it's a good location for Brands Hatch, it was cheap, the staff were great, check-in and out were really easy. Yes, it was ok!

Overpriced

Very cramped room, 'double' and single shoehorned into a small room. just enough space to 'sidle' alongside the bed

For the price per night in Dartford, it is an OK hotel. Price is very good, but, you get what you pay for. For example, the springs have gone in 1/2 the mattress (room 206, go and try it!). Rooms are visibly clean, but very basic and could do with new carpet. Good bar and good service from the guys behind the bar.

I have stayed in this hotel twice in recent weeks totalling 6 nights. The rooms themselves are ok, they are basic, but they have not been refitted in what looks to be at least 15 years owing to the fact they still have a modem socket. The mattress in the first room I stayed in this time, was probably also 15 years past its use by date, I had to request a room change as it would have been unhealthy to try and sleep on it. Whilst having a beer in the bar, the staff were loudly discussing the lack of support they had from the parent company including the total lack of stock for both the bar and the restaurant. The external security doors to the two blocks the rooms are in, are not secure, so anyone can walk in. The reception staff were lovely and apologetic for the state of the room

A good price and a good location with safe parking

The hotel location was good, however @ 2am lots of noise outside from trailers etc.. I asked for an invoice when I checked in and was told you can get one in the money when you check out. Morning sorry you have to go through Expedia!!! I didn’t even book through Expedia, anyway rude receptionist I gave up arguing and left. Will think twice about booking again as have stayed here a couple of time before with no issues.

A very good business hotel. Comfortable bed, usual basic facilities in the room. WiFi worked ok. Restaurant was ok, limited menu but food was ok, very good service. Big car park directly outside and reasonably priced. Just what you need for a few nights working away from home

Good price, good parking decent rooms and nice staff

This hotel is a bit tired and one of the noisy ones. Loud drunk people. People knocking walls. I had a call from security asking me about the noise. When they came the right people were asked to keep it down which they didn't. I will give it one more go tonight but if its just as bad Im out.

Comfy bed but toilet wasn't clean and there was a dent in the wall

Pet friendly indeed. Struggled to find a place that will accommodate our dog Campanile was a live saver! Our dog enjoyed his stay at Campanile

Decent, quiet place but the cooked breakfast isnt up to much. Avoid the scramblrd egg at all cost! Otherwise, it was perfectoy satisfactory

Poor condition

Hotel room was fine, clean and all that we needed. Reception was helpful. However, the bed was the worst bed we have ever slept in. Springs through the mattress into the back did not give a good nights sleep. Have stayed in many campanile hotels, but this was the worst bed ever.

The floor was wet near the adjoining door, everytime someone flushed the toilet at night, there was a loud noise. The walls are paper thin, i could hear my neighbour sneezing, coughing & snoring. Also the restaurant was advertised as closed, when it wasn't.

Rooms need to be refurbished they needed doing six years ago ,staff excellent we will not be back.

The hotel is very dated. It was clean but the toilet leaked onto the floor. This must have already been reported before our stay as it was significantly bad. We advised reception. Only 2 small pillows provided for 2 persons and only 2 towels. We needed to ask for pillows and hand towels. No tumblers provided and 2 odd cups with a small amount of milk for hot drinks. We felt the mattress was thin, cheap and springy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We felt the room was very mediocre for the price where we could have booked a more premier room elsewhere for a similar price.
