We have stayed at the Dune Crest for about 25 years often on. The past 3/4 years we have gone 2 to 4 times in a summer As we have a small dog and they allow dogs. A big part for our returning is due to the staff. They are all very kind and helpful.
Helen is the manager and she knows everything that’s going on. She’s always so friendly and helpful, we’ve gotten to know each other the past few years and I can’t imagine how the place would run without her.

Great hotel close to Provincetown. Rooms and facilities are outdated but we had over all good experience. Breakfast is very simple and poor quality. For that price could be better.

This place is way too old and run down for the price they charge. Needs repairs, paint and massive updating. The only good thing is it’s about 5 minutes from Ptown. Don’t stay here or you’ll be sorry.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Dune Crest. It is a large piece of land and there are many amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was convenient to visit locations, beaches and restaurants in the lower Cape. The pool was really nice, and a
Limited but satisfying breakfast is available. I would recommend this hotel. The only think we noticed was the rooms were not very updated, the bathtub had a low shower head and my husband had a hard time washing his hair, and the AC had a little bit of mold.

Hotels.com was awful about changing a botched reservation, but the hotel itself was super gracious, friendly and accommodating, despite a busy weekend. Hotels.com should be nicer to the hotels it partners with, they are the ones making you money!

great budget friendly location on a beautiful bluff overlooking the bay (in the distance). well outside of p-town. quiet, VERY pet friendly. staff are really nice. breakfast is plentiful . infrastructure like windows and doors needs to be upgraded. beds and bathrooms are clean and nice.

Don't bother putting up your "Do Not Disturb" sign. They disturb, multiple times starting at 8am and enter your room whether or not you have the sign up. Thankfully we had some of our valuables packed away the by the second time they entered our room when they weren't supposed to. And for how much they charge per night, you'd think they could at least afford updates on the units, or a hot breakfast option, not just store bought yogurt cups and stale bagels.

We loved our stay at the Dune Crest hotel. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the water and Ptown. It was nice to hang out on the balcony watching the sunrise or sunset. The room was very clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Well located for a stay on the lower Cape. Very clean and roomy, if somewhat basic motel accomodations. Reasonably priced. Basic breakfast with very limited choices, but clean and fresh. Staff is helpful, polite and smiling. I fully reccommend and would return next time we visit thus area.

Location is perfect if you want to take a peak at P-Town, but not stay right there. Close to the sea shore and AMAZING views! Staff was just wonderful a smile really goes a long way with me and they were so inviting (even after we locked our keys in the room). I was recommending it as soon as we got to our room.

For our 20th anniversary trip, part of our trip was 2 nights at Dune Crest. The best thing about this hotel were the staff. They were as accommodating as possible and always pleasant, along with the views that were amazing.
I was under the impression that there was direct access to the beach. There is not. This could be a Hotels.com or the property error.
The room was spacious and the bed was awesome. The room was also very dated although it had new carpet. The bathroom is sorely in need of new tile, tub and paint.
Overall, our stay was enjoyable and again, the staff was great!

This property is super convenient if you are planning to spend time in Provincetown, and our room was spacious enough & had a spectacular view. We didn’t have a deck, I noticed some rooms did, so that was a bummer. The rooms are very dated, and had a sort of musty smell. It seems to be well kept, but the carpet & outdated factor made it feel a little dingy. I think removing the carpets would make a tremendous difference.

We had a wonderful time with our two ancient golden/lab dogs, who were welcomed with open arms. There were so many amenities for them that our stay was so carefree, it’s not always easy traveling with dogs but Dune Crest made it a breeze.

It’s beautifully looking on the outside but some parts need to be updated. Especially bathrooms, faucets, bath tub and carpets. For the price we pay I was expecting more. But I must say that everything was clean and we loved the pool too. Also great walking paths.

Great location. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed the tables by the pool. Simple place. Dog friendly but by building so not to worry about dogs I’m the room next door if you’re not a dog person. Not all rooms have balconies so pay attention when booking if that’s important. We would stay again.

Beware! I reserved a king room with a balcony and a water view. I called the hotel directly (not Expedia), to confirm this. They assured me I would have the king, balcony with water view. When I arrived my only view was of scruffy pine trees. Although the room itself was fine (large, very clean, newly remodeled) I did not appreciate being misled.
