Shoet drive to town centre, close to the cheapest petrol station on roght, near Prawn icon, fresh seafood. Very friendly staffs amd lovely ambience, dining and bar. Room was comfortable, like the idea that sinknis outsode bath.

Resent paying a credit card surcharge on top of expensive, for what it is, accommodation, without any prior notification.
Spoils otherwise pleasant stay.

Right from the welcome at reception and the information I was given I knew I was going to enjoy my stay, the room was very clean and had everything in it I needed, sadly I was so tired after driving the last 7 hours I fell asleep and missed the restaurant, pity as the menu looked great, but I slept very well , no noise and bed was very comfy . Early meant missing breakfast, but I will rectify that next time .

Check in was quick and easy, plus we were given an upgrade. Room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. We really enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant, it was fantastic. Staff were friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent accommodation, good check-in experience, easy access to “The Terrace Restaurant” from room. The grounds are well presented and provide a peaceful taste of the tropics. The restaurant was pleasant, the meal delightful and substantial. Did not like the “virtual mini-bar bar”. If it’s “order from room service”, then that is what it is, don’t dress it up! It looks like the host cannot trust people with the mini-bar and that means me as a guest, which I find insulting….. Whilst it was a bit cool on this occasion I like a swim before breakfast, the restricted pool hours would deny this to me, and likely many guests, who are not planning on early morning pool games. Other than these minor items we would recommend the Ballina Byron Islander Resort.

The cinema vibrated the entire room and was deafening that went on til 01.00am. After that the patrons collected noisily down stairs finally fell asleep at 03.00am air conditioner was cold did not know where controls were. The cinema was the worst could not even hear tv. Maybe it was a bad night to have stayed not sure if a nightly occurance

Nice soft fluffy towels.
Shower was over the bath, so may cause issues for guests with mobility issues.

I was a bit concerned about the shower being over the bath as i am 83 and my son has physical disabilities. Being 26/01 a public holiday we could not have breakfast but that ok as we were travelling through.

Spa room very disappointing for cost. Had to ask for crockery, not enough space to make coffee etc Had to use bathroom bench which was big. Only shower was over the spa tub

Staff were friendly & courteous. Queen spa Room & spa was a little small for 2 people. We just squeezed in. Aircon was too small for the room & struggled to put it on a comfortable temperature. Foxtel didn’t work.
Clean. Central Mini bar was only available during reception hours.
Overall a pleasant stay despite shortcomings.

we arrived a bit late night and next doors was made noise, door was opened and kids were talking all nights and watching TV and high volume.
also knocking door and slum doors so many time.
we couldn't sleep at all.
also room wasnt cleaned enough, floors was dirty and we saw 3cockroches in the room that night.
there was only 2left tissue paper in the box.
we just wanted to say so disappointed it.
they don't think about guests at all, feel so sorry for them.

This motel is about as good as a motel can get. Everything was spot on . The room was spacious and nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay here. The only negatives are that we found the bed too soft and it’s 3km to town (wasn’t a problem for us though).
