Convenient stay for us to visit relatives staying nearby. Warm welcome from staff. Delicious cooked breakfast. Noisy engine from a car in the car park early am but think we were unlucky.

2nd stay at The Woolpack . Very convenient for town centre and Goodwood race track. Rooms clean & comfortable. Service good. We ate in the Restaurant and had the carvery which was excellent. Generous portions of local produce , well cooked and presented. As we were leaving early the next morning Chef arranged for breakfast sandwiches and yoghurt to be left in fridge for us to collect This was appreciated. Would recommend.

TV fell off the wall and nearly hit me on the head. Uncomfortable beds and paper thin walls. Shame as in a good location.

After reading mixed reviews we were pleasantly surprised with our stay at The Woolpack Inn. Spacious car park. Rooms in block separate to the pub so heard no noise from the pub. Room was clean & comfortable. Efficient shower, plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed with very good quality Sheets & towels. Excellent Breakfast cooked to order using locally sourced very good quality ingredients. We also tried the carvery, again generous portions of locally sourced, good quality ingredients cooked well. Other diners also complimentary about their food from the menu. Excellent service by the ladies who serviced the rooms and served breakfast. Thank you. Would definitely recommend as a good place to stay if visiting Chichester area.

I chose it primarily because I have an all electric car. I was pleased and surprised that there were 6 chargers in the car park! Fantastic I thought until I downloaded the app and found that the Woolpack had set the price at £1.44! That double the most expensive I’ve come across and three times more than the Tesla chargers 8 miles away. Guess which ones I chose! Nobody seemed to be using them and it’s not surprising.

A good pub with comfortable but basic rooms. Ours was very clean in an annexe next to the Woolpack which was built in 1937. The food was satisfactory and good value while the staff were friendly and helpful. Masses of electric car charging points and obviously popular locally. Close to the A27 but not noisy and within walking distance of Fishbourne Roman Villa.

Arrived to find that the booking via Hotels.com had not correctly booked both parts of the family room so we only had a double room booked for 3 of us. Fortunately there was another room available so we got moved to a bigger room with space for an extra bed. Staff informed us that this was because Hotels.com did not correctly book the family room as two rooms.

First impressions were not favourable, but the welcome was friendly, check in simple and the room ok. Food was good. Location is a couple of miles from the city centre and same distance in the opposite direction to the harbour.

Lovely country pub with ample free parking and a lovely beer garden.. Rooms were spotless and had everything you need. The staff were lovely especially the ladies who served breakfast and cleaned the rooms. Woiuld definatystay again

Delightful welcome, good food available in the evening, excellent breakfast. The hotels.com app sent information in "Good to know" that towels and sheets were unavailable - in fact that was not the case and the sheets and towels were of very good quality. Lovely walks within easy reach of the inn.

Close to a main road but lovely clean rooms, comfy beds, and amazing food. Staff were accommodating and friendly. While may not be the ritz, it’s perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed with the bathroom, a disgusting washbasin with huge cracks in it. We reported it to reception who just noted it down and did nothing else. I don't know how an establishment can get away with charging £95 for a night in such a room. Also the furnishings looked like they hadn't been cleaned or washed for ages. Would never go there again.

Freshly decorated, clean neutral colours . Room was good but mirrors are either to low in the bathroom or obscured by the TV in the bedroom . Good breakfast included . Nice and quiet room which was clean & modern . Nice touch with a hairdryer , iron in the communal area to take to your room ( saves environment) Gutters in Nero Room need sorting if it’s heavy rain as it was gushing down the outside

Very useful, I checked in at 10.15pm. Lovely breakfast. Paint smell around, and mattress quite springy. Good value for money.

Great stay! Friendly staff, good food, convenient and easy parking. Mattress nothing special but comfortable enough for a short stay. Great condition throughout, will stay again and have already recommended it to colleagues!
