Although it is very convenient for sightseeing, there are no markets or currency exchanges near the hotel, and transportation is also inconvenient.

Bike cage was awesome. Staff always great. We’re return guests and will definitely come again.

Not cheap but for sightseeing in Dresden - in the centre of the old town, within easy walking distance to all the museums, palaces and treasures Dresden offers. Plenty of restaurants nearby too with delicious fresh seasonal food. Breakfast in the hotel has almost boundless choices.

Outstanding Staff and Breakfast. Staff at front desk very helpful including calling up our taxi. Breakfast is both buffet and plate orders and you can do both.

Townhouse Dresden is a lovely hotel perfectly situated in Dresden. Our room was spacious and had a great view of the square. Easy walk to the main sights, restaurants, etc. We thought the 28 euro Breakfast was too expensive so we opted to get breakfast at nearby restaurant.

big room, extraordinary interieur design, minibar free of charge, spacey shower and tub, very comfortable bed. some of the furniture seems a little cheap, as well as the fastening for the sliding doors in the room, the pillows (not the pillowcase) had some stains on them.

Honestly couldn’t speak more highly of this hotel. It is in the perfect location, had a beautiful view over the square and the room was beautiful. Special mention to the reception staff who couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Would love to stay again.

Extremely spacious room, staff very attentive and the gym is state of the art

We came to Dresden for the Christmas Markets. Our group consists of three adults. The location of this hotel can’t be beat. That said, housekeeping is sloppy and they don’t refill coffee, creamers, even toilet paper properly. The biggest issue was the odor which I suspect might be from the carpets but it was very similar to sweat or BO. We didn’t try the breakfast because there are so many cute cafes and restaurants within 1-10 minute walking distance. The design is incredibly basic and uninteresting. The bar which is closed on Sundays and Mondays is also quite basic. This hotel is designated as a 4.5 star hotel but in the US, it wouldn’t pass as a 4.5 star hotel. It’s more akin to a US 3.5 star.

Great location, staff are friendly. Carpets needs to be upgraded, you can see the stain and dirts, not appealing.

Very good hotel, great location. Attentive staff. It was my birthday and they treated me to a little cake and champagne at breakfast. Many thanks for your attention. We were in the junior suite, a very nicely furnished, sophisticated room with a huge comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast, good service! I booked a junior room and it was very roomy, looking new and clean and luxurious. The parking situation is not easy especially due to an town event on Sunday. They helped me a few times to how to drive into parking entrance. All other staff are also very helpful and nice. Everything is 5/5 from quality of room, staff, location and parking conveniences. it cost extra but worth the money considering it is so hard to park. I had researched days and planned to park at a cheap location a few minutes away. But being able to park your car directly under this hotel (it shares with a-park) is so much nicer. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I ever return to visit my wife’s friends again.

It was the nicest hotel that I’ve been to during my trip to Germany. I was very happy to stay at Townhouse Dresden as everything was beyond my expectations. First, all the staff was very kind and professional. I had to check in after 12 am due to my late train schedule. While the announced check-in hours were between 3-11pm. they were waiting for the last guest (me) to check in, and very kind. The room was so clean, and it looked recently renovated. What’s more amazing was that the mini bar full of a snack and drinks was complimentary. You should also try the breakfast at least once since all the prepared food was very high quality. Also, the location of the hotel cannot be better as it situates right next to the Frauenkirche Dresden in old town. Townhouse Dresden definitely made my trip to Dresden even more pleasing.

Hotel is in the best location, central to palaces, market square, great restaurants selections within short walking distance and nearby tourists sites. One day was not nearly enough time to enjoy everything this location has to offer. We definitely will make a point to visit again in the near future

Everything was fine.

Very nice hotel bed was very comfortable room was as described shower and bath was perfect the 3 things i did not like the room was very cold and the heating did not work and having to wait for lift to leave the building was very frustrating as there is no stairs available and when i went to check out they tried saying i owe 300 euro for the room plus city tax and other expenses after explaining i already paid for the room on expedia the guy at reception realised the mistake and corrected it. Apart from these little problems i really recommend vienna house qf i love dresden and this hotel is in a perfect location with great views and staff are very welcoming. Will return again.

This is a beautiful and very modern hotel in the heart of Dresden, close to the Frauenkirche, near the Martin Luther statue. There were plenty of restaurants right nearby. My room was incredibly comfortable with a terrific bathroom. The lovely bar, with a charming bartender, had great service and prices. The staff was very helpful. The elevators, one glass in the middle of the hotel, worked quickly. There was excellent water pressure in the bathroom. My room had both a large tub and a separate shower. The lighting was great. The bed was large and comfortable. There were plenty of sockets for charging electronics. It was immaculately clean. In the morning, there was delicious free coffee in the lobby. I did not have breakfast but did see the nice buffet. These folks thought of everything that makes a guest comfortable. HIGHLY recommend.

We stayed here for an overnight in Dresden and loved it. The location right on the main square is perfect for maximizing your time and experience in Dresden. The hotel is beautifully redone. Very nice and clean and a very comfortable mattress. Breakfast was absolutely incredible and worth the extra money. Staff is gracious and helpful. Highly recommended!
